I feel your pattern coin is overpriced.

Somebody probably found it along the road or in a parking lot. Because parking lots have a lot of gravel in them they can cause coins to really become scratched in pitted.

Looks like that nickel has a slight case of road rash. I take them to a coinstar machine and if it's not accepted when I get a large enough collection of them I melt them down. 🤔

Love the pattern cent Personally I don’t get why wheel marks are considered damage. Every time I see a coin in a details, wheel mark holder it’s a really nice unc or au coin and you always have to go on a wild goose chase to even find it. If it’s so minor that it’s hard to even find I just don’t think it should make it a details count. Just knock it one grade point like any other kind of minor scratch or hairline

My Father and I have been collecting old wheat pennies and indian head pennies since last year and me and him have been absolutely stumped on that 1 VDB S 1909 Penny, just to have 1 of this penny alone costs a fortune just to own, its crazy!

ummm sir that looks like a matte proof it has a very sharp thick edge. I would do some research and maybe send it to get graded, that could be a VERY expensive coin!

The wheel mark is from a coin counting machine most of the time never ever heard of it coming from coin roll paper

When a US coin's mintage is under a million, there is absolutely no shame in an AG. Any US set before the modern coins is a daunting task.
