I recently purchased a huge coin collection from a family. Most of the coins we collected prior to 1980. This video features the final Dansco style coin album of the collection featuring Silver Washington Quarters
Silver Washington Quarters were minted from 1932 to 1964. The series was introduced to commemorate the 200th anniversary of George Washington's birth. In 1965, the U.S. Mint transitioned to a clad composition for circulating quarters, which did not contain silver.
The obverse (front) of the Silver Washington Quarter features a left-facing bust of the first President of the United States, George Washington. The reverse (back) initially depicted an eagle with wings spread, perched on a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. This design was created by John Flanagan.
Various mint locations across the United States produced Silver Washington Quarters. Mintmarks can be found on the reverse side of the coin, near the eagle. Mintmarks include "D" for Denver, "S" for San Francisco, and "P" for Philadelphia. No mintmark indicates that the coin was minted in Philadelphia.
Within the Silver Washington Quarter series, there are some notable varieties and errors that collectors seek. For example, the 1932-D and 1932-S quarters, the first year of the series, are considered key dates. Additionally, there are doubled-die varieties and other minting anomalies that can add value to specific coins.

I’m a coin dealer too. People don’t tend to buy complete sets. Collectors like you assemble their collects selectively
