I love weird aliens so I’m super hyped for vespids. All I ask is that they’re not a disappointment like Kroot. I don’t need them to be top tier just not trash with some cool tricks will be perfectly fine. Some melee ability would be greatly appreciated too since their claws are diamond hard and can tear through power armor.

I'm more hyped to know about rule changes for the overall game and teams from kill Team 2021. Hopefully they are treated with some dignity and have updated rules and status good enough to continue viable options well into this new version.

It is funny to see Pathfinders gettinf downed by a DRONE. It is propably a frontline firesupport unit to give cover for the arriving squad, similar to the Deathstorm Drop pod with Space Marines.

So my guess is 10 man Scions with 4 regular troops (as shown in the leak), a leader, coms, medic, sniper and a gunner plus the gunslinger. The big question is if they is a one box team?

Im hopeful for the new edition, but my group will be perfectly happy to stick with KT21 if necessary. Its not like out books will magically disappear. As for the new teams, dear lord no more 10 man teams. Its been done to death. Give us something new!

The fourth scion has not one, but TWO laspistols. So they'll probably have a gunslinger type specialist.

Big question for me is if it's a new version will some old kill teams get kicked from the game. I feel like what justifiy GW price + painting time is that figs "last forever" I restarted warhammer this year with KT and would be really diapointed if my Komandos + Krieg would be "outdated"

Plywood is probably a better choice than MDF for this use-case, much more resistant to warping. It's not as smooth as MDF but when you're covering it with texture it doesn't really matter.

I thoroughly enjoyed our game in round 2, John. You were fun to play against and chat with afterwards. Your Necropox was one of the best substitutes I’ve seen and it was super clear which was which - absolutely no additional mental load for them. Even for Custodes, just too many models to go through, especially with rust emanations taking effect! 😂 Well done on the win!

About your Necropox team, I play a 6 man Hive Fleet Warrior team and I like to use 6 Skorpekh Destroyers for the models. If I bring ranged Warriors I'll transfer in Heavy Destroyers.

In a casual game I don't see the problem, the idea is very cool, but in a tournament, it would be very distracting, because not only would I have to remember what the unit does, I would also have to remember what the proxied model represents.

The thing about blood bowl is that models are just fancy tokens, the game is fully 2D. There is no real WYSIWYG or mechanic focused measurements related to third dimension or shape of object. As long as token fits the grid you can use anything you want (you can play blood bowl with coins and piece of paper with scribbled grid) But the models are nice and not that expensive comparing to Kill Team bespoke teams
