I thoroughly enjoyed our game in round 2, John. You were fun to play against and chat with afterwards. Your Necropox was one of the best substitutes I’ve seen and it was super clear which was which - absolutely no additional mental load for them. Even for Custodes, just too many models to go through, especially with rust emanations taking effect! 😂 Well done on the win!
Plywood is probably a better choice than MDF for this use-case, much more resistant to warping. It's not as smooth as MDF but when you're covering it with texture it doesn't really matter.
About your Necropox team, I play a 6 man Hive Fleet Warrior team and I like to use 6 Skorpekh Destroyers for the models. If I bring ranged Warriors I'll transfer in Heavy Destroyers.
ruclips.net/video/Kj54aSYBwA8/видео.html I think it's the Raptors though I am quite surprised that someone was allowed to play Hierotek Cicrle represented with CSM models. In a casual game I don't see the problem, the idea is very cool, but in a tournament, it would be very distracting, because not only would I have to remember what the unit does, I would also have to remember what the proxied model represents.
Ahhh you should have said at the time John if you had any problems with the team. I didn’t know you were having any problems visualising the conversions/proxies. Anyways I still appreciate the game, thought it was a good looking game with some really nicely painted models and conversions on both sides 😀.
Always love these report videos! I always struggle wrapping my brain around the jellypox boys so it's cool to see them go ham!
Ah thanks, yeah they're a brain drain to play, exhausted after round 4 😅

Thanks dude, me too! Ah you're too kind aha
Yeah Custodes struggle with the horde of bugs 😅
Well done, John! It was great to play you at the end of my first year of tournaments.
Thanks dude, was great finally playing you! Glad you had a great time at your first event

Yeah seems like a much better source, deffo a learning experience for next time 😅

Ooooh nice dude, that sounds amazing!
Pretty please mandrake video before gellerpox!
Sooon 😅
First!
Indeed

Indeed I was thinking the same thing!
Same. Even if you somehow had the bases marked to indicate the proxied unit it would be tough to keep stuff straight.
Yeah it was Raptors, my bad 😅
Yeah the proxies were a little...rough to visualise but TOs gave it the okay
Love the idea but in a competitive setting I do feel it disadvantages people when such extreme proxies are permitted.
