the reason for being told to keep the window down is for officer safety. If you you’re dealing with a person who has dark (probably illegal) tints, you can’t see if he’s getting a weapon inside the car. Why didn’t Tyreek just do what most people do when pulled over for speeding? The officer asked him to roll his window all the way down. He refused and rolled the partially opened window closed. The glass was very dark and the officer was unable to assure his own safety or speak to the offender. It would have been so simple to just be polite and take the ticket to court or get a warning for exceeding the speed limit. Tyreek should be held accountable for his own actions as would anyone else. Tyreek wasn’t being uncooperative, he just had an attitude about him which the cops didn’t like, so they escalated it and then tried to make it look like he asked for it. The thing is, cops need to do their job regardless of the attitude of the people they deal with, just like the rest of us. We don’t just get to beat people down that we don’t like. The witness never said his civil rights (Hill's) were violated. I think you better slow down the tape and listen to what the witness had to say. If you are ordered to exit your vehicle you must exit. You actually are not required to roll down your window, but not doing so doesn't really help you in any way. I think I in situations like this people are too busy thinking with biased hearts. At the end of the day, it was a routine speeding violation. Just because a law was allegedly broken DOES NOT warrant that type of unprofessional treatment. So the stance of "don't break the law and it wouldn't happen" is clearly a way of someone saying they agree with the officer's behavior. "Don't mouth off, do whatever they say right or wrong" is also one of those phrases that shows how someone truly feels. You know you wouldn't want yours or your family's rights violated, but you expect certain people to just shut up and take it. We all have to start calling out injustice no matter who the victim is or who's doing it. We all fail when we have different standards depending on who you are.

the reason for being told to keep the window down is for officer safety. If you you’re dealing with a person who has dark (probably illegal) tints, you can’t see if he’s getting a weapon inside the car. That makes an officers job so much harder especially when you’re dealing with someone that so defiant. Just because he’s a star player, doesn’t mean he should get special treatment.

The officer asked him to roll his window all the way down. He refused and rolled the partially opened window closed. The glass was very dark and the officer was unable to assure his own safety or speak to the offender. It would have been so simple to just be polite and take the ticket to court or get a warning for exceeding the speed limit. Tyreek should be held accountable for his own actions as would anyone else.
The officer deserves respect from the public while enforcing our laws.

After stopping for the police Hill's actions were completely legal and from what this witness said the officers violated his civil rights. They had no reason to suspect Hill had committed a crime and Hill presented no threat to the cops safety. So, pulling him out and putting him on the ground face first and cuffing him was totally gestapo action because they might have thought Hill disrespected them. Why were there 5 cops there? Looks like they were looking to jack him up. This is the same crap cops do hundreds of times every day and they keep getting away with it. They do not respect the public, they look at us as the enemy and don't give a second thought of violating our civil rights. 99 out of 100 of them probably could not recite the 4th amendment or the 1st amendment. All they rely on as a reason for their actions is “office safety”. I guarantee after their investigation is over they will come out and say “the officers conducted themselves within department policy”!
I thing you missed the beginning of the tape where the witness claims the car was speeding. From what I know, speeding is a crime (misdemeanor). The witness never said his civil rights (Hill's) were violated. I think you better slow down the tape and listen to what the witness had to say. Individuals, like you, are misinformed and spread misinformation.

If you are ordered to exit your vehicle you must exit. You actually are not required to roll down your window, but not doing so doesn't really help you in any way. For some reason too many people think they don't have to exit their vehicle if ordered to by a LEO. Don't give up your rights, but fight the cops in court not on the street. Better yet, don't break any laws.

I think I in situations like this people are too busy thinking with biased hearts. At the end of the day, it was a routine speeding violation. Just because a law was allegedly broken DOES NOT warrant that type of unprofessional treatment. So the stance of "don't break the law and it wouldn't happen" is clearly a way of someone saying they agree with the officer's behavior.
"Don't mouth off, do whatever they say right or wrong" is also one of those phrases that shows how someone truly feels. You know you wouldn't want yours or your family's rights violated, but you expect certain people to just shut up and take it.
We all have to start calling out injustice no matter who the victim is or who's doing it. We all fail when we have different standards depending on who you are.

Folks hate when we bring up race, but cops handle things differently when it comes to Black people, especially Black men. And things are done not because it's necessary, but just because they can be.
They treat black women and black men the same. Gender does not matter. Both black men and women have died needlessly at the hands of the police.
They actually handled it far more differently than if it was just a commoner. From reports, 110 in a 35. That's immediate arrest, revoke drivers license, and jail. Then to mouth off and tell the officers he isn't getting out would likely be failure to obey and if he resisted, that's another charge. But I guess you want to just make it about race rather than accountability because he is a black superstar.
