I appreciate that you include compendium teams AND appreciate that you not just arbitrarily lump them all into "D" (or even "F") tier as other RUclipsrs do.
Ah thanks, that's because some Compendiums still match or beat a few Bespoke teams imo
I’ve got one buddy still waiting for a bespoke grey knights, another waiting for bespoke tyranids, and me constantly grumbling about Kroot sucking. It’s a salty group. At least salvagers are cool and good to boost my spirit. At this point watching felgor get changed in every balance update is one of my favorite parts of kill team. What will they do with the goats next?

@@CanYouRollaCrit I genuinely just like beastmen and melee teams so I want them balanced. Watching GW attempt that is its own kind of comedy though.
The Inquisitorial Agents feel super weird - They have a lot of power to play with, but them hitting on 4s makes the mental math so much harder. Still my absolute favorite team to play!
Yeah, people do forget that they have lots of operatives who hit on 3s, especially if you take Breachers
Funny enough, Nemesis Claw’s In Midnight Clad ability still works even if your opponent has Ignores Cover, so long as they’re outside of the specified distance. Really fun for dealing with shooting heavy teams
Yeah, just a shame many of them have ignore obscuring 😅
I would disagree, I've lost every game I've played as Night Lords. Clearly this means they are a bottom tier team and your tier list is incorrect. I would like a written apology on my desk by friday, thank you.

I think the Yaegir are too 'new' to say anything about. Although I do agree that they should have had a 5 inch movement instead of a 4. You *really* feel it in the earl y game when your opponent is running laps around your slow ass dwarves. They're meant to be pioneers, why are they so slow?

As someone who is only just starting to look at kill team I’m trying to pick up some odds and ends off eBay to see what I like painting before committing. Seeing the tier list with a bunch of compendium teams higher than a standard “F for compendium” is awesome.
Ah nice, yeah Custodes and Death Guard are super solid compendium picks imo

Quite interested to hear you say that whilst Brood Brothers are cracked they’re not the most broken thing we’ve had this edition? Is this the most broken thing this edition release Chaos Cult or something else? Just curious.
Chaos Cult, Fellgor, Pathfinders, and Custodes were more broken imo

Hmm probably: Shield leader, 2 subductors, medic, leashmaster, dog, malocator, pistol dude, castigator, comms, marksman

Can marker drones actually guard after markerlighting? I thought you needed a ranged weapon to go on guard, since guard is treated as a shoot action?
Not for Pathfinders. Anyone can go on guard, you don't need to have a ranged weapon
Which match up is the One Really Bad Matchup for the Yaegirs that you mentioned?

God im not looking forward to fighting mandrakes in Tacoma. Not super spooked of fighting anyone else with my salvagers. Though, that last buff was a pleasant suprise.
Yeaaah Mandrakes will be rough but should be better for your Hearthkyn now
Hey I’m a local to Tacoma and looking to start playing the game, are you from around here?
i played fellgors last weekend to test their nerfs. their new dowgrade to ceaseless changed my playstyle where i can't just blowout on t2, instead waiting for t3 for that ambush + violent temperament combo.
buuuut that also left me with enough CP for late game tac ploy usage. they definitely dropped down to A but they are still strong in the hands of players who are used to running melee teams. not much changed for me, just a little adjustment to make them play better on the later rounds
Yeah exactly, much better as a lategame kill team now
Fellgor can be pretty balanced if you just play terribly like me 🎉

@@CanYouRollaCrit Well yes, but there's a lot of different Kill Team templates there. None of them that I found go up to 2024.
Thanks for the video and you perspective on the tier list. I was suprised to see Warpcoven rated as a B. They don't get a lot of press and I can confirm they are difficult to play well. I still hold out hope they would get another slot for either an additional Rubric or 2 more Spacegoats.
Here's hoping GW gives us another Dataslate in the future. I think there's more work to be done.

I remember when this edition of KT came out and i saw GK having 11 wounds, biggest headscratch.
Would love to see BoK change abit, love them but seems like struggling, would like to see scorpions having 3+ save as in big 40k.
When do you think they would announce the next edition if there will be one?

You can, just remember not to shoot and stay out of 6 inches
I would personally argue for Phobos being minimum A tier. Pseudo 4APL, for free, plus free traverse, is so good in almost every game. It makes them able to play Loot way better than any other Elite team, they have great shooting and great fighting, they reduce enemy control on points, and get guard on open boards. I would at least put them a tier above Legionaries.
Nah they still suffer into the current melee teams and can't deal with their pressure. Plus new horde teams etc just mess them up more
Personally I never liked how the exaction squad shotguns hit with the ballistic skill of an ork, or how their regular baton attacks hit worse than an inquisitorial operative with their fists. Would not be surprised to hear that they had stun on them at some point.
But their shotguns hit on 3s?

Ah Yaegirs are great imo
As someone who only plays after work and a long commute quite tempted to turn off the brain and pick up the scouts I've only used in 40k so far - even if they aren't built optimally for KT.
Scouts are deffo great for that aha

i also played brood brothers and got absolutely shredded by hunter clade rust stalkers on ITD. so yeah, their bad matchups are definitely melee teams that can kill 7w in 2 hits.
id say they're S, but any mandrake, fellgor, gpox and clade player laughs at their bayonets

rending power swords hitting on 3s, free traverse movement, fighting twice, with a 40mm base to ensure multicharges
quite the funny experience, as one-sided as it was 😂
That's interesting, I've had great success into blooded with hunter clade so not surprised brood brothers suffer in a similar way once the murder cyborgs get up close and personal

Nemesis Claw have really good TacOPS???? LIKE THE ONE WITH BAZILLION limitations??? Tacops are one thing that's not good.
Yes, they can take 3 of the best archetypes and even their faction tac ops are fine
How should I build scouts box?
Leader with chainsword, tracker, sniper, hunter, heavy bolter, then 5 warriors with a mix of shotguns and knives

@@ChaseTheChamp11 international meta does not dictate your local meta. justian is currently one of the S tier teams in my local community because the only person that actively plays it competitively plays it soooo well, to the point that they can beat our top tier archon/gpox player!
