Definitely want to see another Joint Op, one where the enemy spawns waves each TP. That'll make it much more difficult and maybe make you second guess some choices
Yeah, I concur. I saw another channel do the respawning op and it was down to the wire-quite literally down to the last activation and charge and fight action!
I love the narrative aspects too. Would love to see the guys do a mini-narrative campaign. Almost like the 3x game versions in the new rulebook & dossier
The house rules on this Joint Ops battle report made things interesting. I personally like the idea of mixing two different kill teams together. I always wanted to have Space Marines fight alongside other Imperium factions like the Inquisitorial Agents here or any of the Imperial Guard kill teams personally.
Giving the operatives their natural weapons as opposed to the NPO data sheet weapon rules usually makes pve more fun and varied without getting into the weeds of faction rules
How about a jointop in the vein of Space Marines 2? Hordes of Tyrannids spawn constantly and the teams need to fulfil 2 objectives? Retrieve the virus-bomb -> launch the virus bomb -> hold your ground for 1 extra turning point. Could be played on a slightly larger map with 2 space marine teams of 3 operatives each vs an infinite number of spawning gaunts. I could see beta-dhecima or sector mechanicus/gang stronghold as the launch side and volkus as the retrieval side. Make it 4+1 turning points.
Happy to see this and would love to see more. I’m getting into KT myself recently mostly for the co-op and solo play and this makes me really keen. You could have a reducing amount of enemies respawning each turning point, or maybe have a control point you need to hold by the end of TP5, and if not you just lose or something. Think of it like the SM2 game, have points you need to activate in order against constantly respawning enemies, or maybe set something up and extract to safety.
This was awesome. I’m new to kill team and looking forward to my first game. Small community in my town, but I didn’t know how to start a coop game to learn. And this video answered so many questions I had! Thank you guys for putting the time and effort into your videos and growing the game! Hands down my favorite channel on YT right now! Keep crushing it
Would love to see more! They have a lot of fun homebrewed killteam content online like "boss" fights with interesting rules to further tweak or for some ideas. I have a bunch of Alien models and the Queen for the boss and the xenolings as fodder, and it's worked well at the FLGS. Do kinda horde style rules for the fodder and have a trigger for the boss to spawn or have it a hunt... lots of fun with coop. Even better if there's a "GM" kinda running the npos and keeping secrets...
Man this bat rep got me in the feels. I was having flashbacks to the days of 40k 3rd ed, when my friends and I would do narrative battles all the time. Good stuff! I think the key moment came when the Hvy Bolter scout gunned down the plague marine off the ferrantonic furnace in 1 shot.
More co-op! I think they need tweaking as you've done but what I found is good shooting enemies on vantage can be a problem. Missions that force the players to move forward are also more difficult, try sabotage with when miss who stay behind cover and have good shooting units, I found that more challenging. Ultimately a "horde" mode version for kill team would be great with random events and penalties.
This is awesome, i really like joint-ops and hope to see more, especially if u add previous edition leveling homebrew rules, and create an epic story :D
Joint ops was a lot of fun, love to see it. Please do Tau Empire (any mix of Pathfinder, Farstalker and Stingwing) vs someone. Maybe Kasrkin+Aquilons or Hearthkyn+Yaegirs or Fellgor+Blooded? Anyway, great batrep as always. All the best to you and your families
I'd love to see the forces of Nurgle come back another time for a Joint Op. An idea might be to throw in some ranged cultists so it isn't just the Plague Marines shooting at your guys.
This was fun, and I definitely want to see you guys ramp it up even more. I too thought it had good potential to be a loss. My Kill Team buddy and I want to bring in some 40k models too, big tyranid bugs and the like. We also want to try playing with no turning point limit, to progressively add in tougher opponents and see how many waves we can survive.
For your next Joint Ops I would add initiative to the NPOs. I do this by rolling a d6 before each enemy activation. 1 - 3 activates a trooper. 4 - 5 activates a tough/warrior 6 activates a heavy. Once you run out of troopers then 1-5 activates tough/warriors and so on.
Something I've been wanting to try putting together is a big boss-type character with special datasheets. Would be very cool to see something like that here!
more joint ops definitely a fun idea. maybe don't give yourself a harder starting lineup but allow models to keep respawning and have some sort of mission you need to accomplish besides murder. Maybe you could have the patrons decide what weird and wacky statblock you should face a horde of? facing an endless wave of bomb squigs could be interesting for example
Me and my buddy have been playing joint ops and I like using operative profiles for NPO’s. I only use the NPO profile as a guide for making models not in kill team 2 or 3. We keep the 90 wounds rule but allow faction rules for NPO’s that are from Kill teams.
I would love more joint ops games! I'd like to think it was more luck than lack of difficulty, but I won't say no to watching Brad and Vic sweat against impossible odds!
Definitely want some more Joint Cops. The mode is sweet, and (as you note) perfect for coming up with fun missions / narrative stuff / and even operatives.
Great battle report. FYI, the penal legionnaire ignores any changes from its stats from being injured, so in the last activation of the game you didn't need to spend your CP to keep him from being injured.
I've played Joint Ops once so far with a friend and loved it - we lost, but it came very close, down to the last initiative roll which we lost, and lost the game. Also, we rolled so well for the Ai but so bad our selves xD
Somebody suggested to use the dices to decide which unit to move from both side. As to simulate who has the initiative. This will feel like LESS playing against your self and more random.
I liked the Joint Op content, but I did miss the competitive thrill of an Approved Ops battle report. Can I suggest adding some excitement to the Joint Ops, maybe focusing more on the narrative/RP elements that are possible to build emotional investment? Either way, always enjoying the content.
I think while I prefer seeing you play each other I wouldn’t mind more of these. Maybe one or two new scenarios from each new quarterly box that comes out
This is exactly what I was hoping for ty for all the extra thought you put into it like the disgustingly resilient rule to make everything as cool, fun, n thematic as possible!
Definitely want to see another Joint Op, one where the enemy spawns waves each TP. That'll make it much more difficult and maybe make you second guess some choices
2nd this suggestions.
Yeah, I concur. I saw another channel do the respawning op and it was down to the wire-quite literally down to the last activation and charge and fight action!
🚬 joint ops
This would be a great idea!
I really like the little narratives you guys spin before Battle Reports so I think Joint - Ops is a fun way to build on that.
I love the narrative aspects too. Would love to see the guys do a mini-narrative campaign. Almost like the 3x game versions in the new rulebook & dossier
The green tide of zombies and plague marines was so cinematic and cool. I'd love to see more co-op with even more enemies.
Love the little tweaks to the enemies you guys made, also cool to see you guys working together for a change
The house rules on this Joint Ops battle report made things interesting.
I personally like the idea of mixing two different kill teams together. I always wanted to have Space Marines fight alongside other Imperium factions like the Inquisitorial Agents here or any of the Imperial Guard kill teams personally.
21:29 Maybe even scale it up a bit, could go bigger using 2 Killteam boards and both use a full Killteam? Could be fun.
Good times.
NOCs respawn a certain number of operatives at the start of every TP, that will make it more difficult upon you, for sure
Giving the operatives their natural weapons as opposed to the NPO data sheet weapon rules usually makes pve more fun and varied without getting into the weeds of faction rules
Depends on the mission. Like in this this one where it’s table each other that would be so hard.
Vic's attitude towards co-op being "you lose either way" is exactly what I expect him to say.
How about a jointop in the vein of Space Marines 2? Hordes of Tyrannids spawn constantly and the teams need to fulfil 2 objectives? I think I’m going to do a Chaos Joint op where my nemesis claw and my buddy’s legionnaires assault a hammerfall bunker with a ton of wounds
I am so glad to see another JointOps and better yet to a channel I enjoy watching. I can not wait to see more from here!
Happy to see this and would love to see more. I’m getting into KT myself recently mostly for the co-op and solo play and this makes me really keen.

Love the Raptors that’s my current mini chapter y’all are one of the only channels to use them love it
Definitely looking forward to seeing more of this. I'm sure you/the community can come up with some fun scenarios/enemy teams
Hey! The plague bearers are back! Let's move a bunch a guys
This was so fire boys. Definitely need more of these. The banter between yall working together was fun
Would love to see more! They have a lot of fun homebrewed killteam content online like "boss" fights with interesting rules to further tweak or for some ideas. Great stuff. I'd definitely like to see more Joint Op games
Love the COOP content. Been using kill team as a base for some narrative play myself, so seeing this is great!!
This was a lot of fun to watch. The mixed teams are really interesting!
You guys are saving me from a horrible week. I love what you're doing in the Kill Team space!
More co-op! I think they need tweaking as you've done but what I found is good shooting enemies on vantage can be a problem. Love the Joint-ops content in your style of battle report, 100% would like to see more of it, regardless of factions involved.
This looks like a lot of fun. Great video
I'd love to see more Joint Ops missions, especially to get ideas from you guys.
Love this mode, you guys are great! I also think it is okay if coop is not too hard. It’s fun to win 😊
I really enjoy seeing the Joint Ops! I'd love to see ways in which you could crank up difficulty
I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing videos on co-op kill team!!!
This channel is the chill warham games dream made real
Loved seeing you all do joint ops!
I'd love to see the forces of Nurgle come back another time for a Joint Op. An idea might be to throw in some ranged cultists so it isn't just the Plague Marines shooting at your guys.
Co op is my fave part about this new addition - it has such potential! Please do more in the future!
Love this. Please do more solo / joint ops content
I am so stoked to see this!!!! You guys rule!!!!
joint ops, blunt weapons, sticky objectives, there's probably more
For your next Joint Ops I would add initiative to the NPOs. I do this by rolling a d6 before each enemy activation. 1 - 3 activates a trooper. 4 - 5 activates a tough/warrior 6 activates a heavy. Once you run out of troopers then 1-5 activates tough/warriors and so on.
I would love to see more joint ops with lore-friendly matchups, like Scouts and Angels of Death, or maybe Hand of the Archon+Mandrakes.
Would love to see you do an extra hard mission from the Hivestorm dossier where you have to capture the 3 points while enemies get respawns
Yeah, the other two joint ops missions are definitely more of a challenge.
Something I've been wanting to try putting together is a big boss-type character with special datasheets. Would be very cool to see something like that here!
This was awesome. Def do more.
Definitely would love to see more Joint Ops!
Man, Joint Ops look rad. I gotta try it sometime with my dudes!
It's the episode I've been waiting for! I'd love to see another joint ops!
More! More! At your own pace, though. Loved the houserules!
So ready to see some Co-op play! My friends and I have been excited to try it out
Love the joint ops, keep em coming!
Yes more co-op! Endless swarms and hordes!
OOOOoo That nurgle music was sick
I'd love to see more in this format - maybe the sniper mission they recently posted on the Warhammer Community site?
Keep ramping up the difficulty with Homebrew! I’d love to see a Mountainside TT Expansion Pack ruleset for CooP evolve over time.
more joint ops definitely a fun idea. maybe don't give yourself a harder starting lineup but allow models to keep respawning and have some sort of mission you need to accomplish besides murder. Would love to see another joint ops game!
I thought he was gonna say "WOAH, SAME TEAM, SAME HAT!? IS THAT WACKY???"
I'd like to see a batrep video with each one of the new missions. Thanks for the video.
These videos always slap
Absolutely amazing!!!
Loved this. Thanks.
Love the joint ops! Let's see more please 😀
Me and my buddy have been playing joint ops and I like using operative profiles for NPO’s. I only use the NPO profile as a guide for making models not in kill team 2 or 3. We keep the 90 wounds rule but allow faction rules for NPO’s that are from Kill teams.
Co ops is fun! next time take mortarion (counts as a nurgling). 😊 BTW I loved the copper plague swords and verdigris. Nice job Brad.
Fun battle report! Do another one that’s even harder.
I would love more joint ops games! I'd like to think it was more luck than lack of difficulty, but I won't say no to watching Brad and Vic sweat against impossible odds!

Joint Ops are really fun :) great way to teach the game and a great basis for an RP style "campaign" ala KillTeam D&D
I've played Joint Ops once so far with a friend and loved it - we lost, but it came very close, down to the last initiative roll which we lost, and lost the game. Also, we rolled so well for the Ai but so bad our selves xD
Highly recommend taking a look at Malev’s custom NPO’s and behaviors
Zombies keeping staying alive at 1 HP is so on lore
Hey guys- really enjoyed this- hope you consider trying the Titus co-op mission on war comm
Definitely more of this!
This was great. Maybe use the no crap data sheet and add other hazard like plauge swam like the gun firing damages all not in cover
Somebody suggested to use the dices to decide which unit to move from both side. As to simulate who has the initiative. This will feel like LESS playing against your self and more random.
Love joint ops, please do more!
Great rep, would like to see another but this time GSC themed and to make it harder throw in some fully fledged Genestealers.
You could easily create a gnarly Horde mode with this setup.
I think something else that made this "easier" is that in shooting your character is "safe" when they attack in melee you could be attacked back.
Joint ops has more "feels good" and less "feels bad" moments with friends - even if you lose.
I love your plague marine models. Is there a video of them being painted anywhere?
I liked the Joint Op content, but I did miss the competitive thrill of an Approved Ops battle report. Can I suggest adding some excitement to the Joint Ops, maybe focusing more on the narrative/RP elements that are possible to build emotional investment? Either way, always enjoying the content.
Ngl, I saw the video was on the shorter side and thought the boys were gonna get smoked 😂
Never bought into KillTeam, but Co-op definitely calls to me like lusty marine
Of course we want some more, it was very fun.
Especially when Imperium wins, I just want more imperial guard action
I think while I prefer seeing you play each other I wouldn’t mind more of these. Maybe one or two new scenarios from each new quarterly box that comes out
That was fun and you should do more.
Yes let's see another joint ops/co-op game
I'd love to see more of these. Maybe a better mix of brawlers and gunners? 150 wounds
Would love to see you guys work towards a narrative campaign
Enjoyed the Reign Rain joke
Way behind on my subscriptions but I loved this
Penal legionaire innately ignores injury modifiers to his stats. 😊
Please keep doing joint ops of increasing difficulty. I (and I'm sure others) would eat that shit up!
Yeah, do another one. Like the mode. We did one as legionaires, we saw how OP they are 😂
This is exactly what I was hoping for
ty for all the extra thought you put into it like the disgustingly resilient rule to make everything as cool, fun, n thematic as possible!
Love to see against a big bad monster.
More joint-ops please!
Maybe some more complex missions?
