I have pc which was a collaboration between al fateh "كمبيوتر الفاتح " a Libyan computing company and acer, basically the classic white desktop pc It has a intel duo And i had a custom build pc in 2014 i was really into gaming It has an core i3 2120U Geforce gt 630 4gb and 8 ram I actually still use them as a storage devices tho

I have 1230 v2 and gtx1070 since 2013, and still perform well for gaming & 3d modeling stuff.

I have a core i5-430M, but the performance is much better because I have a discrete GPU

Why intel even made this? In 2011, for just 5$ more you can get celeron g530 with two cores and 2.4Ghz clock speed.

1:58 actually I benchmarked my i3-380 laptop against lg g2 from 2014. On laptop I run android x86 project and lg g2 would beat it at cpu and gpu tests. I don't remember the exact benchmark software but it had a chinese game like destiny in it. i3-380 had the shadows glitched although performance wasn't terrible

no i have an i5 2450h in my PC and its garbage. cant even have 2 applications open for lowest settings. i have 16gb ram and a 1650 and I have issues with performance.

As for gpu you maybe overloaded the pcie bus, motherboard likely has pcie 1 or 2 version, so 250 or 500Mb/s for line.

Hey dude.. i have the exact same thing as yours and it performs 10x better. the difference is that mines is V2 and yours is older, you want the V2 not the v1 or anything older Edit: Aswell as that.. dude ur using a 3090 with a damn 13 year old cpu!!? WHAT DID YOU EXPECT, THE BOTTLENECK IS HORRIBLE

I have like 20+ PCs and still have a X6 1045T + win 10 + SSD in 2024. Works fine used for browsing, vpn, word processing and backing up a iphones. Faste enough in 2024 for sure. Games are really the only thing you need a new cpu for. Maybe video editing too.

I was a phenom user until may 2023... I see some people already told you, but there are SSE fixes to almost every game. there's this guy called "luther_d" on cs rin forum that made fixes using debugger ( I sent error logs for him many times) and he did the hard part, fixing it and sending back for testing and stuff. Good times

If you want full performance on a 1GB Of ram, Windows XP, If you want modern apps, Mini 8.1, If you want both, Windows 7 is the perfect choice : ) I don't know about vista.. Maybe the levels of XP and 7?

Mine sutil in use with my phenom 2 965 be from the same age, main desktop. For linux is a workforce, vulcan native, and sadly is starting to fail from time to time after 14 years it's no surprise). I'm thinking to replace it but searching for a suitable option that not is bottleneck by the CPU, in a budget I'm thinking in a 6400. My surprise, the 6400 from 2022 is slightly superior and in some ways inferior to the 2012 7850. I'm keeping it alive for the time being 😊

is there really a bad GPU? youre just not using what the chip is intended for maybe 2d games or DOS games? why would people expect extremely low end chips to run modern games i dont understand that. Good video i subbed

Your ram runns at 1333 Mhz. Sometimes Task mamager show exact the half speed. The App CPU Z shows it in 99% of the time exact the half speed if you check. In fact the the RAM is running always the half speed that the manufactor says. It refreshes 2x the same data. So manufactors because of marketing write instad of 667, 1333 Mhz (2x 667 = ~1333). Example: Ram saves a chrome task in 667 mhz but it do it twice to avoid mistakes, if one mhz do a mistake the clone of the one mhz correct it.

on linux you can play a lot of games with that gpu, including minecraft, i've only tested 1.8 since the ogl version it uses is very old
