    Thanks for this :) .. my daughter's friend is in the market for a new video card to play minecraft instead of relying on her GPU's built in video for me to install for her, your video saved me from recommending this for her

      You're welcome! I'm glad I was able to help. The graphics card is actually working better in modern times. I need to make an update. But it still is pretty far so I have something like the GTX 970.

    Is the stuttering fixed at this point?

      I'm not sure but I tested out BeamNG Drive yesterday to see how it was running with the graphics card. It was not doing very good. Quite laggy.

    normal the shader aren't developed for the gpu (for now) because it's still pretty new on the market and the driver need to be improved

      The GPU also performs a bit worse without shaders too. It does need a bit of work. But all the other games run good on it! (:

    So if i want to stream or record mc(1.8) arc a380 is not a good choice?(i saw your comment about 750ti)

    • @digitaljon1109
      @digitaljon1109  Год назад

      Yeah, I would not recommend it, at least yet. As this GPU is not very good for Minecraft. I can't say for sure if it will be fixed in the future or not.
      But something like a Nvidia GTX 970/980 Ti should be good.
      Or a AMD RX 5700 XT. Those are all quite nice options. (That AMD I listed is faster than the GTX 970).

      @@digitaljon1109 what about recording/streaming games on dx12/any other that this card can run well? I heard about av1 codec that it is really good

      @@imaginetryharding866 I have live streamed on my main channel with the Intel ARC A380. It did well. But I was only playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition with out shaders. So nothing intensive on the GPU. As it was only at 10-40% usage.

    Is it better than the GTX 1650?

    • @digitaljon1109
      @digitaljon1109  Год назад

      In most games I would say it's about as fast as a GTX 1650, but in Minecraft, it's slower than a GTX 750 Ti at the current moment due to the drivers being wonky. (:

      If you want something fast for Minecraft Amd is most likely your best option and if you get a RX 6000 or higher it should be amazing.

    You game lags because you set the chunkloader threads to 1...

    • @digitaljon1109
      @digitaljon1109  Год назад +1

      Nope, that doesn't make the game lag, it actually helps prevent lag. What it does is basically make the chunks load only using 1 CPU thread, that prevents stutters from all the threads being maxed out.
      For example, if you see the RTX 3060 playing the game with the same CPU in the video, you can see that it runs about 130 FPS with shaders on the exact same settings. I didn't show the settings for the RTX 3060, but they are the exact same as with the Intel ARC A380.
      Also how is your day? (:

      Nice! I also made a updated retest on this graphics card with a faster cpu. So it's performing about the same as with the Pentium though.

      I do have resizable bar enabled. I also did a recent test on it as well. I got a I-5 13400 f CPU to test it with.
