2:37 ... so kryzzp compasses in minecraft just show the direction of the world spawn (the place where u spawned for the first time in this world) not your current spawn(which is your bed rn)
good vid, i have a tip. make shears and trap sheeps in fences, that makes it easy for you to get wool and with shears the sheep doesnt die and regens the wool back as soon as it eats grass
the compass points towards the world spawn, not your house. Complementary shaders are awesome. you have yet to see them in the nether and end dimensions where they look even better. also it's nice to see that a GPU that performs similarly to my laptop's Quadro M620. I'm sure my desktop with my GTX 980 would do a much better job though. also I would advise against upgrading your world to 1.17 and then downgrading it back to 1.16 because your world may become corrupted.
@@Tmanstomp100 my 980 died on me and for some reason my replacement card, HD 7950, performs significantly better running the game at about 30-35 fps at 1440p. This is 1.18. the 980 got about 25fps on 1.18 before it's death.
Hi kryzzp , just wanted to tell you that the compass points to where you first spawned in the world , and where your would spawn when you die if your bed is destroyed , it still could be useful because you know where that place is now so you will never get lost is you have a compass
The Iris mod is built on the Sodium mod which is THE best framerate improver for Minecraft, but the thing is that Sodium is built on the original Minecraft engine, which runs absolutely crap, but Optifine just changes the whole game's system and the core engine, and makes it a lot smoother, that is why Optifine takes so much memory. But still that is unusual because even though Iris -> Sodium -> Original Engine, and the original engine is a lot CPU bound, you have an OP CPU, so that is unusual.
If you bang the compass to a lodestone, it gets an enchanting effect and always points towards the lodestone. You can place a lodestone in your house and bang your compass to it to show your home. Btw lodestone is available in bastions or you can craft it. It needs netherite ingot to craft.
Hii kryzzp, finally I got a GTX 1650 super gaming x oc after a long wait and now I am happy and u r the first to know this bro, ur awesome u helped me alot to decide man I love u mate 😊
Hello Kryzzp! I love your videos, especially the Minecraft and GTA V ones (my favourite games) I love how you make everything a lot funnier but also really helpful with the benchmarks.
The Anisotropic filtering for some reason on my Intel integrated graphics on 4th gen CPU with 2017 drivers (latest tested), the game looks awful, I mean there is a noticeable amount of jaggines, and I have also seen a couple other gamers encounter this problem. EDIT- Not sure that they even improve anything when working correctly.
If you have cheats activated in the game, you can set the spawn location to your house by standing there and type /setworldspawn or something like that I suppose! Love your content btw kryzpo my man.
Hey kryzzp, I'm a student pilot in brazil and sometimes I use microsoft flight simulator to train some procedures. Recently the game received some very big optimizations and it could be interesting for you to make some benchmarks. thank you and sorry for bad english.
Kryzzp being a total noon at Minecraft just makes this series better, haha. Btw, the compass is supposed to point where you first spawned in the world.
Hi, I’m one of the main developers of iris. Just so you know, there are major performance losses for 1.17 for both OptiFine and Iris, and comparing different versions will not give accurate results.
@@aniketsrivastava1870 it should in most cases, and if you have issues please join the discord. It’s extremely hard to provide support over RUclips sadly
We should consider the differences of the world generations and render processes between the 1.16.5 and 1.17.1 version (wich is also gonna be a little different than the new 1.18). Unfortunately, Iris mod (wich renders with sodium) isn't yet at the best with 1.17.1 (there's a lot of work to do, as we can suppose), but runs quite well at 1.16.5, specially with lower end CPUs (still the strongest point of the sodium base, eventhough it usually can make a huge difference at homogeneously higher specs [something around 2x -3x + fps]). The Iris mod seems to be incredible for using shaders at homogeneously lower end systems, or even (and impressively) any system that uses an AMD card (wich usually don't run as well as NVidea ones over OpenGL, natively).
if you right click on a wolf with some bones if will turn into dog and if you right click on cat with some raw cod it will be your cat (also try sneaking behind the cat or else it'll run away , their health is also shown in their tails depending on the tail if their tail is high they are on full health and if their tail is low they are about to die you can feel/regenerate their health by feeding them meat and raw meat)
sodium is actually less cpu intensive and as gpu intensive as optifine since bad cpu utilisation is the main problem with minecraft when shaders are off at least. so this is why you saw not fps improvement. but most ppl will. Also it has multiple rendering systems and the default one doesnt rlly like old gpus as ive heard
Older gpus or igpus struggle a bit with sodium/iris because it uses functions not every qpu supports. And so it has to come up with alternatives to get the same result. But they are way slower. Sometimes slower than OF.
Surprisingly I managed to get 30 - 40 fps with PTGI and while using PBR 128x Resource Pack. It was paired with an i7-870 and 8gb ram, minecraft has 4gb at its disposal. of course while recording, the framerate will be lower than that. every other shaderpack I tried gets at least 58 fps.
the compass points to where u first originally spawn not where you have now placed your bed so quite frankly other than making maps compasses are useless
Your fps is insane because of cpu. For this game cpu is a lot more important because Java runs in an Environment meaning its bassicly a VM. While running shaders ofc gpu matters a lot.
@@zWORMzGaming Yeah you said that fps is a lot higher because of your cpu but you didnt gave an explanation so i wrote one :) (Btw thank you for replying made my day)
