For AMD I'd suggest *Complementary Reimagined* , new shader from the same guy that made the best shader for AMD and it's even better optimised Also now I'm bought on updating the driver, right now my RX 480 is getting me 100 fps without shaders on iris, I was suspicius that the update will cause problems with iris
After updating the driver I'm at 140fps, with Complementary Reimagined shaders it's 78-90fps, that's a 20-40fps increase, but my Ryzen 1200 is definetly long overdo for an upgrade Core usage is significantly different that last time I've checked Core 1 - 19% Core 2 - 20% Core 3 - 84% Core 4 - 84% I also have a blank screen with Chocapic V9, weird that 480 and 580 experience this

For future reference, HRR3 is completely bugged on AMD drivers. HRR 2.1, the previous version, works on iris and optifine on AMD. (And performs better than hrr3)

ur little rx 580 consumes wapping 185W power! even gtx 1070Ti TDP is 180W! but performence is much more superior compare to ur little rx 580 even 75W 750Ti is equally performance in terms of minecraft when look other titles gtx 1650 Super with TDP 100W is 5% faster over RX 580 with TDp 185W! with better media engine (NVENC)
To play minecraft you need pretty much linux on amd. Amd has so much better linux drivers. That way you get the performamce to actually expect. My rx 6600 gets 200 fps using sildurs shaders. On wincrap i barely get 100 and so many stutters. Your rx 580 would be amazing on linux.

I would recommend using Linux on amd cards while playing minecraft. The Linux Amd drivers are so superior compared to the windows drivers. I am talking 60% more fps and less stutters using shaders atleast. On my rx 6600 i got 200 fps using sildurs extreme, while on windows i get stuttery 80 fps with terrible frame times. Tested using garuda linux which i would recommend if you are interested. (it preinstalls minecraft lol) or try using wayland which gives even more performance. On amd you need to use linux to get good shader performance.
i just tried all of the shaders and i got around 80 fps with an i7 4770 with an rx 580 and some low 60 fps with the latest bsl shaders and complemantary reimagined with sildurs i got 100
This gpu is good enough for vanilla but if you throw in any mods or just have a lot of stuff happening on screen it will max out the gpu and you will often run under 10fps no matter what you do (with shaders) so its unplayable in that case.
Also there is a modpack called Fabulously Optimized which includes all the optifine features like zoom, shaders, connected textures etc, except it is based on the sodium mod so it runs very well, I would recommend that if you are trying to get optifine parity on fabric.
Fun fact: despite the great performance gains in vanilla Minecraft, due to the OpenGL improvements brought by AMD 22.7.1 drivers, they absolutely murdered shader frametimes and the experience is trash.
Cool to see you are using sodium. I’ve been using Sodium now for a while and there is one thing I hate about it. Whenever I play there seems to be no smoothening, anti aliasing AT ALL so it’s looks like I’m playing on the lowest resolution even tho I’m playing on 1440. I know u guys can help me right? When I use Optifine it’s better but the fps isn’t, must be some setting Sodium doesn’t have
Do you use DDU every single time you upload?😂 You have so many gpus that I dont think your PC can handle all those drivers. Or can it? does each gpu have a different driver?. I have a gtx 1070 and rx 570 and I used the DDU software to make sure my rx 570 worked. Its the Red Devil version which overheats like crazy. If you have one maybe do a review? if not i can donate mine.

However, AMD software does not recognize Minecraft as a game, so my frame rate is lower than expected. Also, the gpu's mhz seems to be very low. Do you know how to solve this problem?
One funny thing is that using Amd Software's in-game overlay and metrics overlay improves the frame rate. But it doesn't always work, it's probabilistic.
I'm not sure, but metrics overlay seems to help the computer recognize minecraft as a game program. My English is terrible because I am Korean, but I hope the meaning is conveyed well
I figured out how to make sildurs water look like SEUS one, go on shader options, colors,water color and set water alpha to 0 , apply settings and there is the trasparent water

I love my AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB. I bought mine at the end of 2018. It's still pretty decent for 1080p gaming.

I think the sodium mod that’s built in to Iris works by only rendering the face of the blocks that you can see, and so you get vastly better frames

Locking the FPS on RivaTuner keeps the frametime as stable as possible, even better than the built-in FPS limiter in games.

Bad frametime is the 22.7.1 driver issue. While without shaders performance is great, with shaders driver bugs out.
I don't know about this specific mods, but I've noticed that mods on 1.19.x version are still unstable. It could be probably better to test 1.18

the frametime was all over the place with shaders with the RX 6600 as well, in 1.18, it's an amd thing when you get lower fps
I’m terms of iris and sodium they are perfectly stable on 1.19, they update as soon as the 1.19 versions release
