I've been 0.6 Mbps'ing it on TMobile for several years. The key for me is dual monitors so I can always have a task manager open and visible to notice and deal with any bandwidth parasites (e.g. windows and other updates). It's like playing whack-a-mole with them.
I don't think most of the issues comes from the (lack of) speed, but instead it being a mobile hotspot. Low speed combined with the latency and unreliability of cellular networks. Maybe it could be better with USB tethering, or using an older phone (Android 6 or older) with FoxFi to tether without it looking like tethering.
I am using about 1mb per second. I can watch RUclips and Shows at 1080p60 completely fine. Videogames are also fine. It just takes hours to download large programs. It takes hours to download Programs and Games
I have experienced Dial Up actually. We had it up until 2019. It was alright, but when I got my new desktop PC, it didn't have a dial up port, so we got rid of Dial Up, and got something better.
im curious to know, is your plan 0.6 megaBITS per sec or 0.6 megaBYTES per sec cause here i have a broadband of 10 megaBITS per sec or about 1.2 megaBYTES per sec (1 megabyte = 8 megabit) and it can literally run 4k yt no problem! but my pc has a very old i3 4th gen so it lags but its due to the cpu bottleneck, ive tried it on my sis's laptop with an i3 12th gen and it runs buttery smooth as theres no cpu bottleneck, and i started crying on how her laptop was only doing 10% cpu on 4k while my pc does 98% cpu on 4k and about 40% cpu on 1080p 😭
i have tmobile 5g home internet (got for 40/mo with tmobile plan if ur interested) and had an outage for about 2 weeks and just didnt use my pc after my 10gb limit ran up because honestly id rather watch 1080p videos and listen to music at a higher quality on my phone than do the same shit on pc, hell i even downloaded call of duty mobile and played that fine instead of actually using my hotspot. i do not know why they still have this arbitrarily low limit in place
Do you like the 5G Home Internet? I have it, and it has been very good. I just can't understand why limit the hot spot so much, as the phone has a good enough connection to make the hot spot much faster.
@@digitaljon1109 when it works and you have a good connection its great, but there's always gonna be bad days for it and theres really not much you can do unless you wanna buy a $300 antenna kit, which seems a bit too expensive to justify, and they only have this limit to sell you the higher hotspot limit plans
@digitaljon1109 deblouted after version of windows. I would also give Garuda os a go for igpus. My 2ndary laptop saw a massive fPS boost when using that.
RAM Review: It plugs in and does RAM stuff. SSD Review: It plugs in and does SSD stuff, it in fact is not an HDD, which has a spinning disc. Also, I have reviewed similar CPU's to that in the past, like the Intel Celeron N3450. But I am not going to be buying something I don't want, just to review it. And sense that is a laptop part, I would need to buy the whole laptop. So I won't be reviewing it.@@rch5395
dont think you mentioned the person you are talking to on discord can barley hear you when you view their stream lol
Yes! You are right, when I was on a call with you, it was very painful!

USB Tethering is the same. My latency is about 20 MS, so not bad.
When I use PairVPN to get around the 600 Kbps limit, the Hot Spot works great! (:

So when you run speed test, it shows 10 mbps? Or 1?
dude when i go into college, my mobile hotspot speed goes from like 15mbps all the way down to 80kbps. it's painful here in the uk
Awwww!! Is your plan limiting you in busy places?
nah not even that, its just properly trash mate@@digitaljon1109
RIP! Have you tried getting a different plan?
unfortunately stuck on a contract for the next few years@@digitaljon1109
Helpful tools for that problem are combination of pihole+squid.
Removes bloatware from http/system connections and reload things from cache.
Interesting. I don't suppose you experienced dial-up? It was exciting to us at the time. 🙂

600 Kbps, or 0.6 Mbps.
I go off the metrics from the Speedtest website.
in Syria the internet normally is 600 mpbs ;-;
I need to add, it does not matter if I use USB Tethering, or Hot Spot, it will always be 600 Kbps.
Yes

use xos when reviewing bad cpus idk why previous xos comment got auto removed
What is "XOS"?

Review storage devices or ram next.
I am not sure how to do either of that to be honest. How would I?
@@digitaljon1109 I didn't think about that part XD. Maybe review the n4020 instead.

@@digitaljon1109 For testing bad cpus try using process lasso and hard throttle background tasks.
me with 500kbps :(
): I feel your pain! I hope you get better internet soon! 🙂
Looks painful
Yup! And I guess this is acceptable.. At least according to T-Mobile.
