He is a false teacher of Calvinism and the leading voice of Cessationism which has no Biblical basis whatsoever. Being rich and famous off of book sales and a widespread radio program hardly counts as evidence the man is preaching truth from the Bible! He has taught some of the most outrageous things that the Bible refutes. Scripture exhorts us to expose false teachings and those that teach it. We are to contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints (Book of Jude). That may rub you the wrong way, but it shouldn't.

We are exhorted in Scripture to expose false teachings and to contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints. Doing so edifies the Body of Christ and is very helpful to keep Christians (especially new Christians) from straying into deceptive false theologies.

No, you are promoting Universalism which Christians do not believe. One must believe the Gospel of Christ to be saved. That is good news to everyone and salvation made possible for everyone because Jesus died for the whole world. Sadly, many will choose darkness over the light and forfeit the free gift of God's grace which is forgiveness of sins and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not difficult to understand this from Scripture unless a person is reading Scripture and trying to understand it through the lens of a false religious system they believe is more authoritative than God's Word, such as with Calvinism.

@@faithonfireministries first of all, you don't have to use a word to be doing it. You can claim to be "channeling" something or someone without using those exact words. For example, if I write as if I am Jesus and tell you that Jesus intended this message for you delivered through me writing what he told me to say, that's literally called channeling. I have never once heard a pastor get up on the pulpit and start talking as if he is a conduit delivering words directly from Jesus. When you write a book as if you are Jesus, you are now taking on the mantle of the Christ. Anything said after that point is a representation of Jesus. It is not interpretation, nor is it saying what the Bible says. Yes, she throws out verses (sometimes out of context). But that doesn't excuse being an imposter of the Christ. This is why people use the word "channeling". Yes, it is also charged language and I don't deny that. But when you write words and say "these are Jesus's words to you," that is bearing false witness (unless it is ONLY SCRIPTURE and nothing else... Which it isn't in her case). I am an ardent non-Calvinist, btw, and that is how I actually found your channel. There are things I agree and disagree with, but with this book and some other devotionals, it becomes very dangerous when you decide to speak as if it was actually God speaking and not just your interpretation, opinion, or what you have been taught through prayer and study. Calvinism shares in some of those core essentials with other Christians but the most important is the Gospel of Christ, and Calvinism departs from Christianity on that. They have a gospel of unconditional election which is not even Biblical.

Yes, that is true. However, Calvinists then turn around and quote the beginning of John 15: 16 that Jesus chose the 12 and they teach that means chosen for salvation. It does not. Judas was not saved, and the rest of the verse they always cut off tells us why Jesus chose the 12... to bear fruit that will remain. Judas didn't bear fruit that will remain along with the other 11. So, Judas was chosen for a service that he failed to do by his transgression (John 6: 70 and Acts 1: 25).

Nope. That is nonsense. I'll explain it. In 2 Peter 3: 9 it says [God] "is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that *any* should perish, but that *all* should come to repentance." If Calvinistic election were true and "us-ward" and "all" and "any" referred to the elect, then this verse would be irrelevant and make zero sense in terms of Calvinism which claims that God from before time began chose the elect to be saved and decreed the moment they would get saved. What is there to be patient (longsuffering) about? That would be as if God is saying He is patient with himself because Calvinists believe the elect are saved by irresistible grace at some exact decreed moment in time that God predestined. This verse shows us it is God's will that everyone be saved, but unlike the false Calvinistic Irresistible Grace doctrine, God does not force anyone to be saved, much less does God force some people (elect) to be saved who had no faith in Christ whatsoever and then after giving them unconditional salvation then also gives them as a by-product faith in Jesus after being saved. Nor does God reject others from coming to faith in Jesus Christ. It is God's will that all people will be saved, but God also knows many will choose darkness over the light despite the light (Jesus) coming into the world (John 3:19). He is longsuffering (patient) towards even them in this age of grace which is why God does not strike them dead knowing full well they will never come to faith and be saved. I will continue to expose Pharisees like Spencer Smith who is a false teacher, legalistic, has a false gospel that pretty much in his own words at times means one must believe exactly as he does and hate whatever his hot button to hate is this week or you are not saved in his eyes. He is quick to judge others with little to no evidence. His demonization of our Sisters in Christ is reprehensible. His infatuation with the occult is a huge red flag for any discerning Christian. We should stay away from that stuff, not spend 2 hours watching Spencer shove all its imagery down our throats. His lifting up and admiring leading voices of Calvinism and calling their teachings Biblically sound is another red flag. Calvinism is anything but Biblical.

Sometimes people are too "brilliant" for their own good, and they end up puffed up and lifting up their own name above Jesus and teaching Calvinist doctrines that undermine Scripture and deny Christ to most people of the world. Jesus says if you deny Him before men He will deny you before His Father in heaven. As for the KJV, a child can read it. And a wise parent will read and teach their child the Bible anyway. If you want to teach your kids from a Bible that removes a lot of Scripture because it is based upon the corrupt Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus, well that is not too wise. I'll still with the Bible with 6000 corroborating ancient manuscripts. And Jesus never said anything to silence women. See the women at the well, John 4. See the women among the 120 who followed Jesus in Acts 1. At Pentecost in Acts 2, all of them including the women were given utterance by the Holy Spirit and went out in the streets preaching the Gospel and 3000 souls were saved that day. Men and women preached to launch the Church and this age will come to an end with men and women preaching the Gospel. And neither did Paul silence women. He was mocking the men who had that idea in 1 Cor 14: 34,35. Just read on to verse 36 (in the KJV). He rebukes the men for being arrogant and thinking they are the only spiritual ones. 1 Timothy 2: 11-15, once again in the KJV, is corrupted in modern Bibles. It is not about the woman's relationship with other men, but only her husband. Paul makes the context of marriage quite clear with Adam and Eve and childbearing in verses 13-15. 1 Timothy 3 is qualification of elders and deacons. Both say husband of one wife and that is used as some sort of prooftext against women pastors and deacons. However, Paul is writing in a masculine form to men, but it is to be instructive to everyone including women. He was prohibiting polygamy, not women from those roles, and that is evidenced with Paul commending Phoebe he calls a Deacon in Romans 16. He sent her with his letter to the Romans to read it to the house churches in Rome. He also in that chapter commends Priscilla and Aguila for their ministry and house church. Oops, there in one Chapter we have Paul recognizing a woman deacon and a woman elder. By the way, in a massive ironic twist John MacArthur's church has women in the official role of Deacon. They call them Deaconesses. I've watched him and Phil Johnson explain from 1 Timothy 3 why women are not prohibited from the role of Deacon. Too bad they are inconsistent when it comes to women preachers and pastors.
