  • Calvinism is a gnostic gospel that is false but they love to challenge Christians with this question, "Since you believe in Jesus, are you smarter than your unbelieving neighbor?" I answer that in this video. We also look at the Westminster Confession of Faith to prove the pagan Gnostic religious ideology of Calvinism and a Bible passage that warns us against leading Calvinist voices who preach a different Jesus, from a different spirit and a false gospel.

I ask them back, Calvinism is a deeper, more Biblical version of Christianity, right? Why do you believe all of that good doctrine when the rest of God's children don't? Are you smarter than me? Does God love you more? It's just stupid argumentation.

    Good stuff, thank you!
I think Christians need to take the mask off of it and call Calvinism what it really is,
    Gnostic theistic determinism.
Calvinism is a gatekeeping of the Gospel.
We need to be truthful and rightly handle the Word of God and rightly represent His character.
And it is simple, it is for everyone, and God desires to be accessible.

Except with Calvinism, God made Flip in a spiritual state to do only that, and will only do that, unless God decides to save him. If God did not decide to save him before the foundations of the earth were laid, he has no hope. So, God made him do it, not the devil, in Calvinism. SMH

The "gotcha" question posed by Calvinists, "Why did you come to faith but your neighbor didn't?" wrongly assumes that the neighbor's future is settled.
The more biblical question is, "Why did you come to faith but your neighbor didn't... YET?"
The Lord... is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. (2Pe 3:9 ESV)

After reading some of Cauvin's Commentaries I was thunderstruck, not in a good way. His ability to make up passages from thin air is unparalleled in human history. Grab a nonexistent "parallel", twist it, pound it and shape it, so it sounds biblical. Then he applied a thin coat of warning against criticizing or mocking his claims. He did so much Scripture twisting, he should have been a pretzel maker.

    • @faithonfireministries
      @faithonfireministries  3 месяца назад

Not a bad idea. Most so-called "discernment channels" are just fronts for pushing Calvinism and hating on anyone who is a Bible believing Christian that does not accept Calvinism and is not a Cessationist. They don't have the gift of discernment or they would discern the evil spirit behind the Calvinistic doctrines of devils. Cessationists reject most of the spiritual gifts of 1 Corinthians 12, and strangely enough, that is exactly the chapter that list the gift of discernment right among the other spiritual gifts they claim have ceased, and it is actually sandwiched right between prophesy and speaking in tongues. How ironic is that? It is described as being a gift to discern spirits.
The Calvinist Cessationists twist this meaning to imply that they have discernment and therefore expose anyone who is a Charismatic as having a "strange spirit" (evil spirit). That may be legit when referring to certain famous rich televangelists who have gotten rich making empty promises of healing or wealth in exchange for "sowing a financial seed" into their ministry. They are frauds. Nobody in the Bible asked for money in exchange for any gift, miracle, mercy or act of grace from God. Sure, there are frauds, wolves in sheep's clothing, and the Bible warns us about them.
But they often extend that claim to any Charismatic, even those who have no public ministry or agenda, but only have a personal testimony of something miraculous or they mention speaking in tongues, or receiving a word of knowledge from God or a dream or a vision. Cessationists are quick to accuse those people of being demonic or hearing from demons, and that is when they arrogantly cross the line and blaspheme the Holy Spirit by claiming legitimate works of the Holy Spirit come from demonic spirits. Jesus called that the unpardonable sin. They are playing a very dangerous game, only proving they lack the ability to apply even basic discernment based upon Scripture as our guide, much less having any additional special Holy Spirit gift of discernment. They have none at all.

Here's a tip. On the two occasions where we get a window into judgement day (Matt 7 & 25), God does not give us a doctrinal quiz. We are judged wholly by our fruits. I think the theology of John Macarthur and Paul Washer is appalling, but they both have fruitful ministries that, I'm sure, result in people either getting saved or examining themselves with regard to their faith. I do not place Justin Peters in that category.

Those two factors (among a pile) are heavily responsible for Calvinists in France stirring up passions and problems. They would go out of their way to irritate the general population. The king/nobles(except for 1 family) tried to keep the peace and give government protection from those who wanted to crush them. But when they nailed a threatening notice to the king's bedroom door, that flipped the support of the king. That led the king to believe all he'd heard about Calvinists wanting to overthrow the RC church and the govt, then the gloves came off to squash Calvinism.
The interesting thing I've come across is "preachers" coming back from Geneva indoctrination full of hate and brimstone. Which always started another ugly bloody riot or fight. The French Wars of Religion were mostly sparks coming from Geneva starting localized strife, which did spread at times. Calvinists were their own worst enemy.

Evangelists and Calvinest are polar opposites.
Odd, you can sum it up in Ephesians. Evangelists are mentioned they are given from Christ for the working of the ministry.
You can not find Calvinest in God's Word.
The Bible teaches the polar opposite of Calvinism.
The Gospel is John chapter 3 verse 16,Acts chapter 1, and others.
Calvinest teaches a Gospel of IDK,yet I know more than everyone else, including Jesus Christ.
It is another Gospel, the Apostle Paul makes it clear,in Galatians chapter 1 what is the end result of teaching another Gospel.
Even Angel's are not exempt from the penalty.
Paul was so passionate about this that he repeated the statement.
We know Paul was writing directly from God's inspirations and direct commands.
It baffles me how far they have gone astray,to ignore the living Word of God to be replaced by a psychopath.
There has to be something driving this apostasy, which is more than theology.
    It is an abomination.

Here's what the Bible actually says: "For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are . . . " (I Cor. 1:26-28: NKJV). And why does He choose some and not others? ""that no flesh should glory in His presence" (v. 29).
And how do those who are chosen actually come to know Christ? Paul goes on to say, "I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God" (2:3-5).
So which one of us is preaching a false gospel in the spirit of Antichrist?

The fact is, that Calvinism cannot be explained in any manner whatsoever without it contradicting itself. Whichever way you turn, you run into a contradiction. Of course, this was all predetermined by God though. Whatever you believe or don't believe, it's because God predetermined it. Whether Calvinism, free will, catholic, orthodox, atheist, Satanist, furry or whatever. You make no decisions by your own will or power of reason in Calvinism. Your God is a diety of deception. He lies to the many and reserves truth for the few. If you can trust that? Remember, he just lied to everyone else. What makes you think he's being honest with you? Oh, that's right. He determined that you would believe him. Even if he's lying to you......see how that gets utterly ridiculous. Yet this is Calvinism. A contradiction within a contradiction.

4:04 These biblical explanations are exactly that, an explanation of how the Bible itself explains how we are saved so when you say there are contradictions within the explanation, you are calling scripture contradictory. For example, when you read the part where it says that God determines to do something within us and yet we do this freely, it’s simply trying to explain Philippians 2:12-13. These confessions don’t try and make the Bible say what they want it to say, the confessions are simply explaining what the scriptures claims. Philippians 2:12-13 might appear contradictory but by faith we believe what it says to be true:
12Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Believers are saved by faith, and it has nothing to do with their intelligence, so this question is nonsense especially for Calvinists since they believe "unconditional election".

  • @MatthewRoberts-og9co

"ELECTION" Romans 9:10 And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac 11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”
    Israel’s Rejection and God’s Justice
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! 15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” 16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” 18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.
19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, 24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

In Romans 9 Paul is rebuking the false thinking of the Jewish religious Pharisees (having been one of them) that think they are the elect and God grants them mercy alone but not others. They think they are Jacob and everyone else is Esau. Calvinists make the same error because of their pride and unwillingness to read all of Scripture. Just keep reading in Romans and Paul clarifies that God grants mercy Jew and Gentile alike, mercy upon ALL.
Romans 11, "30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have *mercy upon all* ."

He was a Presbyterian, so yes, but from accounts of others discussing the history of his ministry he was labeled as a moderate Calvinist, so I guess that suggests he wasn't on board with all the doctrines of Calvinism.

Brian IS blinded to the truth. Salvation has NOTHING to do with man's will! It is entirely about having spiritual life & how one gets that life. Man cannot give himself life.

Calvinism is false and it is clear.
Eternal Salvation is Free Gift from God to everyone (with the exception of false prophet and antichrist, agree?), and everyone can be Saved (never end up in a Lake of Fire) because of Jesus Christ.
However, what is interesting is this: is there was examples during human history when God chosen some individuals before their birth to be Saved because of faith in Jesus Christ. What is the difference between called and chosen ones?

    • @faithonfireministries
      @faithonfireministries  3 месяца назад

Thanks for your comment. Good question! We read in Scripture about both obedient and disobedient people, and some of them that God called or chose before they were born ultimately answered the call in obedience and did the will of God. This alone does not imply they didn't have a choice to rebel. They had to choose to obey even though they were chosen by God. We also read about others who neglected the call and rejected what they were chosen for. The ones who were "called" or "chosen" were only called or chosen to fulfill a service (mission, purpose, etc.) and in the Bible some were obedient and fulfilled what they were called or chosen for and some others did not fulfill what they were chosen for.
The nation of Israel was Elect, chosen by God and called out of the world for a specific purpose. Many of them rejected God and went after Baal and other false gods. But God ultimately fulfilled His will and purpose through the Israelites because of those who did obey and fulfil their purpose.
Here is an example of how Calvinists pervert God's Word in this matter. They love to quote Jesus in the beginning of John 15: 16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you" and they stop there purposefully and deceptively leaving off the rest of the verse and they claim this isolated portion of the verse is proof that Jesus chooses who will be saved, we don't choose Him. However, this verse is not about us, but about the 12 Apostles being chosen for service, to bear fruit. They were not chosen to be saved, evidenced by Judas. The entire verse says this, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, * that ye should go and bring forth fruit* , and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. The text they leave off explicitly says what they were chosen for. It does not say chosen for salvation. Despite Judas, 11 Apostles fulfilled the service, bore fruit that remains and 2000 years later we have many millions of Christians around the world.
The cure for Calvinism is usually as simple as... just keep reading! Context kills Calvinism.

@@faithonfireministries Most calvinists do not believe that God could speak directly or indirectly in various ways to particular individuals today. Do U believe that God doing such things?
In case U do, how would U understand and interpret everything if God talk to U directly and state that He knew U before Ur birth? Would that to U be a confirmation only of Ur service or Eternal Salvation and/or chosen, instead called, status by God
Regarding obedience, Prophet Jonah rebelled and how it ended? Wasn't he chosen before his birth by God? Samson? Christian example: Hudson.
Let's assume that someone is chosen before his/her birth by God to be great Evangelist. Assuming this is only apply to mission/works and not salvation, how this person can be Evangelist if he/she would spread wrong gospel, and how he/she can not spread wrong gospel if he/she would be not Saved?

God knows everything, so He definitely knew all about us from eternity past, knowing what His will and calling on our life would be and whether or not we will fulfill it and even whether or not each of us will come to faith in Christ or not. God knows it all. I'm not an open theist. However, God knowing everything does not equal God determining everything. Anyone suggesting that is going against Scripture but also they are forgetting that God always has been the Almighty God, or All-Powerful God to say it another way. And God chose to give mankind the ability to make decisions freely based upon the light He has provided us.
Scripture proves to us that God seeks relationship with all of us whom He created in His image. God does the drawing, calling and choosing but at the same time God does not force anyone to be saved nor does God repel anyone and keep them from being saved. If either of those were true then Scripture would have a ton of contradictions in it, and I don't believe there are any contradictions in Scripture.
Lastly, if God actually determined all our thoughts and actions and predestined us to salvation or not, then nobody loves God and any Calvinist that claims they love God is lying, if they truly believe in predestination. It isn't love if you didn't have a choice and were pre-programmed to express love. That sort of love is fake, like if you programmed a robot so say I love you. It says it and you can program a robot to be obedient, but it has no other choice. It is just running a program. People made in God's image can love and hate and everything in between. Love is a choice and requires freedom to go the other way for it to be real. The Bible says "God is love." So, naturally as we are made in His image we have been given the ability to love.

@@faithonfireministries Agree with U regarding Free will and that God know everything (knowing doesn't mean determination of each action of humans in each step).
Calvinists believe that all is determined. They fail to understand that some things can be determined not as only two options but more. For instance, DNA have 4 different options not just two (yes and no). Choice of Eternal Salvation of all those who believe in Jesus Christ could be just one option for God.
Regarding 'robots' can't dismiss possibility that exceptions exists.
