It’s Insane how good this voice acting is Bro belted his soul

I read that Igon's voice actor never voiced a video game before. When he was in the recording booth, they had him record Igon's victory message and defeat message in one session. He read the script first, saw the contradicting dialogue and questioned it. He had to be reminded that this was a video game and that some players would win and others would lose so both needed to be recorded. It's kind of funny to think about. XD

I didn't get the final line because Igon died a mere second before I killed Bayle. I cope by imagining him seeing Bayle go down in his last moments, knowing he got his, despite his demise. Also, for extra poetic justice, I took Bayle down mostly by peppering him with Radahn's Rain. So... "with a hail of harpoons", as Igon so boldly declared. Rest in power, truest of drake warriors

Cool fact: I tried Bayle a few dozen times without killing him and without having finished Igon’s quest. I then learned about him and did his quest. When I tried Bayle again, I got him first try with Igon, and man, igon’s scream at the end made me shiver in coolness, like I couldn’t make it alone, but with Igon, it felt lore accurate, and Igon technically didn’t died to Bayle in my world

Odd that FromSoft bothered giving the player a second map in this case, but its cool they accounted for it
