At the same time, this history allows Iji to know Blaidd will one day betray and baleful to Lady Ranni. Also, during the time of establishing the golden order, destined death got plucked from the Elden ring, that part got plucked from Marika is Melina. Melina by being Marika's daughter, similar to how Milicent is considered as Malenia's daughter, a part of their soul/dignity got discarded during their transformation to godhood. And in this case, according to Gowry, if Milicent get betrayed in the most hurtful way, in this desperate condition, her bud will blossom into most vivid flower. I reckon Melina must be very desperate when her beloved tarnished become Lord of frenzy eh? Perfect condition for certain godhood to fall upon her. Its most likely that melina is eather the "gloom eyed queen" reincarnation or maybe a shard of her former self OR even her offspring marika cant be the gloam eyed queen cause Marika and the gloom eye queen fought against each other and both were empyrean you could say marika won the fight and becomes the ruler more or less Marika Influenced Melina for sure and most people speculate that melina is a spirit (cause of her apearing and vanashing all time ) that could fit very well cause when someone dies in the land between the soul goes back to the erdtree and maybe marika inside the erdtree could summon souls like ourself (we use the bell) ? but wasnt limitet to need the right "item" like we do and could use the full amount of souls in the tree would fit with the dialog Melina gave us: i remember i was born at the erdtree so if she remember that it wasnt really a "birth" more like some "awakening" watch the Frenzyed flame ending and melinas hair + eyes and her LAST 2 words in this cutszene its just my theory but 4 me it fits the most
Was there any specific dialogue where you lied to “Renna” about having torrent and then meeting her at Ranni’s rise without doing Rogier’s quest? Or was it the same?
Are you fuckin' telling me that the ONLY REASON I didn't get the Ranni ending is because I didn't, after completing her entire quest line, rest at the site of grace in her tower?!?!?! I went back to the tower to see if she was there, sure, but why the fuck would I rest at the site of grace? That's some bullshit
I dont think talking to miniature Ranni at the grace in her tower is needed for the ending, afaik it only changes the dialogue in the ending cutscene a tiny bit. It must have been messed up somewhere else :( Did you interact with the 3 Fingers? That might lock you out of it
No. The actual reason is that you didn't summon her. Unlike the others, Ranni's ending is not activated by interacting with Marika, but a blue summon sign will appear. If you don't summon her, you don't get her ending. If you'd inherited the frenzied flame, that summon sign won't appear. Otherwise, it will always appear as long as you've completed her quest.
