Elden Ring - Morgott Unused Dialogue

  • Some unused audio files for Morgott a person clearly un-related to Margit. Some of the dialogue in the video was not in the audio transcript. Hopefully I managed to transcribe them correctly for everyone.
Here is some information and insights based on where some lines appear in the audio transcript:
"Tremble now, with fear. For the hands of the Fell Omen will soon be upon thee."
What's interesting is this line appears after his ambush at the Capital Outskirts. Potentially it is said right after the lines where he ambushes you ("I see thee, little Tarnished. Smouldering with thy wretched flame of ambition"). Perhaps instead of appearing there himself, some Night's Cavalry would have spawned instead?
"The Erdtree is firmly rooted, always."
This line is said after he kills the player as Margit (Put these foolish ambitions to rest). Probably said after this line. It's a bit strange that this line is placed with Margit's line since you fight him at Stormveil Castle. However, looking at Morgott's lines we can see that he says the same thing in phase 1. Since he has the same kill dialogue, he probably meant to say this line afterwards.
"An apt reward for thy brash ambition."
This line is said after he kills the player in phase 2 as Morgott ("May the curse seep to thy very soul"). It potentially replaced that line or is said after it.
Don't forget to enable closed captions. Enjoy :)

It would have been cool but contradicatory with the characterization of both the Greater Will and Morgott. The GW would have never allowed an omen to be Elden Lord and Morgott, given his massive self loathing for being an omen, would have never "sullied" the title by claiming it.

When you challenge Morgott for the first time, at the end of his pre-boss cutscene he says "Felled by King Morgott, last of all kings", but in the spanish version the subtitles say "Muerto a manos de Rey Morgott, Señor de Elden", which means the same thing up to "Señor de Elden", or "Elden Lord". For months I was wondering why the translation was wrong and chalked it up to a really weird mistranslation, but this line actually has Morgott say the same thing, but replaces "last of all kings" with "Elden Lord".
The spanish translation team must've been given this unused bit of dialogue for some reason.

The ties between metaphysical and reality in The Lands Between are intertwined. The Golden Order is like a fundamental law that governs all life as well as being a practice of faith by the people. The Shattering was the War amongst the Demigods but it also refers to the the Elden Ring. These ideas tied and they are synonymous. I wonder if the Flames of Ambitions are therefore in relation to the burning of the Erdtree and death of the Demigods.
