  • A bunch of voice clips for Guilbert, a Redeemer of vengeance. He seems to serve General Radahn and is obsessed with vengeance.
I believe he is voiced by Shaun Dooley who also does the voice for Yura and Shabriri. That's the reason I am using footage of Yura in this video. Anyways, please enjoy the video :)
Also, this video will mark the end of my daily upload schedule. Going forward, I'll be posting videos whenever I can.

Grafted Blade Greatsword (Originally a Godrick remembrance item) and Arsenal Charm were changed to reference this character, who seems to be the original Jerren (Probably didn't want a roaming Gael for being too on the nose, as the Eccentric Set belonged to Guilbert):
"A lone surviving champion from a country now vanished was so determined to continue fighting that he claimed the swords of an entire clan of warriors."
"This talisman was derived from an unusual greatsword, once wielded by a hero hungry for vengeance."

I love hearing this cut content. It’s all so interesting

Ordovis was supposed to be Lady Tanith's personal knight. He was a great hero, who then committed himself to those devoted to blasphemy. That's how we invoked the ire of the God of Vengeance (whoever that is)
No idea why they cut this.

Great stuff here! Awesome finds! It sounds like the god of vengeance he's talking about might have been an early version of the Three Fingers. The Great Caravan swore vengeance when they summoned it, Castellan Edgar swears vengeance after the misbegotten murder Irina and then invades you later as Edgar the Revenger at the revenger's shack, and Yura seems to be hunting down each of the Bloody Fingers who corrupted Eleonora and took her from him in a vengeance-esque way. I feel like it all sorta lines up minus Vyke's involvement which doesn't seem too obviously revenge related.

Are we to assume that Elenora gave herself up to vengence for Yura's sake but couldn't control it anymore and went mad? I think so...

The line about people living longer than they should in the Landsbetween is really interesting. To me that kinda confirms the idea that once you are linked to the Erdtree, you cant really die of old age anymore.

A major plot point of the game is restoring death to the Lands Between, you don't need cut dialogue to confirm this

This was already known in the game. This questline doesn't offer anything new about the lore. No wonder Miyazaki decided to remove it.

Pray to the god of vengeance (which I think is the frenzy god based on the fact that the revenger's shack housed the knight who gave in to frenzy when trying to avenge his daughter) and you'll have yourself a corpse in no time. I guess it could be interpreted that you'd be the corpse. A mere vessle for spreading frenzy.

Possibly cut cuz it sounds far too similar to Yura lol

Also... is Radahn the very god of Vengeance he serves?

I mean Radahn was called the “God of War” during 1.00

I wouldnt be suprised if this was cut because of bad voice direction, he speaks unbearibly slow

Not only that, this quest doesn't offer anything new about the lore. It's all about revenge and blah blah. It's pretty boring and I can see why Miyazaki decided to remove it.
