Elden Ring - Unused Rogier Dialogue when he is attacked

There were some audio files I overlooked for Rogier being attacked by the player. Special thanks to zentwii for pointing that out.
I initially thought you could attack him at Stormveil Castle and forgot that you can't attack him in the chapel. Anyways, enjoy the dialogue :)

I'm guessing its what he said when he killed you since it doesn't sound right with the previous line of dialogue in the video. Wish it wasn't cut because its damn cool. Makes him out to be a badass

Don't know why they decided to cut this and make him invincible. This dialogue doesn't add that much to his character but it's still unfortunate that it was cut

My guess is that they were trying to go for mass appeal and they wanted to ease new players in. That or he's a friendly NPC in the middle of a dungeon area and not at a bonfire so they didn't want players to kill him thinking he was an enemy (the absolution mechanic is up in Liurnia so most people wouldn't know about it)

@@minerman60101 You can kill other npcs in that dungeon like gotsoc or nephli and they're in relatively safe areas so it seems a bit odd that invincibility was extended to him and no one else. Plus, his questline is very easy to miss and him dying won't break other npc questlines or make the player miss important items. I wonder if at one point in development he was more important

Its very obvious,he is in a place where enemies can easily reach and kill him while you fight them.

@@lordanonimmo7699 Hmm, I'm guessing he must have been getting accidentally killed a lot in beta testing to implement this change. Though, other characters are also in easy reach of enemies, like patches, Boggart or Alexander the Warrior Jar.
