The 4X100m relay is not just individual speed. It is team speed along with team baton transfer skills! Team Canada has run together as a team many times. Congratulations Team Canada!

US deep field hurts themselves here, as they don't have as much practice for each pair's baton transfer. Now that Jamaica isn't as hot, baton failure is kinda the only way US loses.

never count this team out of the relay - they are a well oiled machine, they train together often, they pass the baton well and that's what often makes the difference. the won't beat US in speed but if they are tecnically sound and the US is off just a little bit- canada wins. or any other team for that matter could beat US. S. Africa did an amazing job and it was very close so props to them!
