- A compilation of dialogue for Gurranq, the beast clergyman. He constantly hungers for deathroot which you feed to him to get some unique bestial incantations. Later on you find him at Crumbling Farum Azula where the dialogue changes depending on if you fed him all the deathroots or not. Enjoy :)

This guy doesn’t speak in full sentences, is never satisfied with what you give him, and tries to murder you for no reason, and somehow I still find him adorable.
Yeah bc its not his fault, Maliketh/Gurranq is one of my favorite
Because he is doggo, and doggo is always best boy
He trys to kill you because the hunger for death root drove him insane and he doesn't speak in full sentences because of his habit of death root and he is never satiated because of the rune of death in his hand. And you might have not known this and I don't blame you.
Cause he's a dog
When you confront him after the quest, I could feel the emotion in his voice. Seeing you again hurts him.
Marika why wouldst thou gull me?
My favorite line of his is “…”
He has such a way with words!
Fr
If you didn't know to gull means to take advantage of someone who is foolish and to people who did know that don't make fun of me.
I won't forget again.
My appetite.....my sin
Some of the times he sounded a bit sad
During the boss fight he surely sounds sad
He's always sad and hunger
ty for uploading!
Gurranq appears outside screaming at night when you still give him the roots or when you finish his quest line?
I've only seen him appear outside when you can still give him deathroots. After feeding him all the deathroots, I never saw him outside. I tried resting at the grace around 30 times before I gave up so perhaps I was extremely unlucky lol
@@StratekYT Na, I think that's when it's still there, I wanted to make sure, thanks!
It only happens at night while it’s raining
@@platoniclogic5877 it's always raining in dragonbarrow
While you give him them. After he just dramatically dissapears
Google just says to fool or deceive but even so it's pretty interesting that he says this about Marika... What did she deceive him about/for??
Despite being Marika's "brother", he was just another pawn to her plans to topple the Erdtree.
Does anyone know why after killing Malekith he still resides in Caelid? He doesn't kill or attack us he just requires more Deathroot
It's because Farum Azula is a land outside time-since he recognizes the Tarnished, that Maliketh must be "after" he disappears from the temple.
Why doesn’t he cannibalize the corpse of Godwyn?
Hey I got to ask if you kill him early before Farum Azula does he respawn like Blaidd?
Also if you kill Maliketh does he appear in the Bestial Sanctum?
If you kill him before Farum Azula, he does not respawn.
If you kill Maliketh, he is still available at the Bestial Sanctum IF you haven't fed him all the Deathroots.
@@StratekYT interesting thanks for the answer!
Sorry to question but if you kill Maliketh but haven't finished Gurranq's quest does Gurranq's model change? I swear he pulls up his sleeve to reveal the Rune of Death medallion
@@RockyRockthrow No need to apologize :)
I checked on 2 separate saves, one that defeated Maliketh and one that didn't. I tried to stand in the same spot and hold the same camera angle. From my observations, I didn't notice any model change while focusing on the arm with the medallion.
If you watch Gurranq's idle animation from the left side, his sleeve does appear to go up his arm and reveal part of the medallion. We are probably more focused on it after our encounter with Maliketh, giving us the impression that he is pulling up his sleeve but it was something that was always there. Personally I always had my camera centred on him when handing in deathroots so I never noticed it until the Maliketh cutscene. Hopefully this was helpful😄
He does appear in the sanctum I don't know how but he does
Is it confirmed that Gurranq and Maliketh are the same?
Maliketh has a special dialogue when you complete Gurranq quest, so I'd say so, Maliketh is future Gurranq
@@NicolasEnrique Future Gurranq? Maliketh became Gurranq after the shattering
@@astelvan2116 But Gurranq changes into Maliketh mid-fight. Maliketh (pre-shattering) -> Gurranq (post) -> Maliketh
@@NicolasEnrique Calling Maliketh "future Gurranq" makes no sense
@@astelvan2116it does lol, Maliketh/Gurranq in Farum Azula is gurranq in the future because he recognizes you from the present
