Something I'd like to point out is that the first scene is pretty bad lol. 1. The original idea was that we would be shipwrecked and washed up on the beach at Limgrave, near the spawn where we are starting now. We lay there because we lost consciousness when we almost drowned. Now we're just laying there because... um, we're tired after the grafted scion beat our ass? 2. Also Melina has the wrong personality. Currently she has lost her memories and wants to enter Leyndell so she can remember what task Marika gave her. ( 8:00 ) She speaks to us, knowing we share the same travel destination. It is ONLY THEN, as we enter Leyndell and she bids us farewell, that she realizes that the Quest her mother gave her was, to help us enter the Erdtree. (9:45) The only reason she is speaking to us again is that we are willing to burn down the Erdtree, even if it is considered a sin. The Tarnished care little about the Golden Order and only want to become Elden Lords. That's why Melina needs us. But at the beginning of our journey, SHE DOESN'T KNOW that it is important that we are Tarnished. Then why is she commenting on the fact that the Tarnished would violate the Golden Order? My theory is that at one point her character had always known Marika's orders and she was in Limgrave because she was searching directly for Tarnised. Then the comment would make sense, as that the willingness to violate the Golden Order is the important trait that she seeks. ( 0:23 ) That line straight up doesn't make sense with Melina's current design.
About the shipwreck is complete nonsense, because I personally fell into the water after the prologue. Checkmate. You can't know what was planned and what wasn't, because even in your comment there are a lot of mistakes proving that you don't know ent. She knows from the very beginning that we are tarnished, since there simply cannot be others here. People who have been tarnished for several centuries have been returning to lands between (we literally come here 100-200 years after the first tarnished ones came here). And she doesn't know? Is this normal and logical in your opinion? I advise you, before writing something, to understand at least a little what is happening in the game
@@maestrrsantarael6590 You miss the entire second point. And the part with the shipwreck is very obvious when you look at cut content. Hoarah Loux has dialouge that is in the badlands.

She has a loyal character, the developers are not idiots. Hoarah Loux's dialogues were Cut because they break the timeline. And they were voiceover (the developers choose who will read the voiceover text: he, Enia or the narrator). It was never in the plans that you would see him personally before the final
