- Some unused/cut audio for Bloody Finger Hunter Yura. It seems there would have been some additional locations you can meet Yura and help him track down Eleonora.
Also these lines did not appear within the audio transcript so I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes with the subtitles. If you have any corrections to provide, please post them in the comments. Other than that, please enjoy the video :)
Damn, I wonder why they cut this - maybe they didn't have time to fully implement this side of the quest how they'd planned? Would have been interesting playing this out, seeing how you discover that Varre was aiding Eleonora. And it would have added more meaning to us ending Varre afterwards, delivering vengeance on him for what he did to Eleonora on behalf of Yura. Yet another casualty of the insane ambition / scope of this project I guess, as amazing as what we got is I actually wish it'd been given another year or two so they could have finished up all these questlines, polished up the PC ports etc.
Someone decipher this and why he's tied to Shabriri
He gets afflicted with the madness ailment whilst trying to save his long lost lover, Eleonora, who joined Mohg's cult.
@@sneezewax3567 and after he kills Eleonora, he simply dies. His body then is used by Shabiri, its like demonic possesion
@@hinkelstein1494 Well, he doesn't kill Eleonora, he cuts off her bloody finger and she kills him with her OP bleed build. We could assume cutting the finger didn't work because she attacks us. Shabriri possesses the corpses of people who suffered emotionally before their death, and may be predisposed to the madness ailment. Irina never saw her father return from Castle Morne, and her eyesight has been weak since birth possibly due to a form of the ailment. This is why Shabriri used her for Hyetta.
Might be originally that Shabriri was tied to a physical worm/invader of the body before they made him to some sort of spiritual figure.
He mentions something growing at the back of his eyes and reaching into his brain. Knowing his fate as a host of Shabriri, this is his eyes becoming Shabriri grapes
So damn sad
