THE ACOLYTE Comes to an end, and thus this odyssey of scotch, & pain. Here are my final thoughts on this piece of overpriced cinematic destruction.
#TheAcolyteFinale
Lee Jung-Jae learned English just for this role and still delivered a more emotional and engaging performance than most of the English speaking cast. He’s going to be fine.
Best part of the show and definitely the best performance. He was probably the only reason I watched a few episodes of this Acolyte
Give him an advil for carrying that show on his back
Thought Manny Jacinto came out pretty well
What's sad is that I could see Lee be a Jedi under George Lucas's original work. Wasted talent
@@Boghopper9999 Manny was the highlight for me. I kinda wished the whole show was about him instead.

Yup easily a highlight.
He's incorrect! It was worse than bad or ass, it was pathetic and a final nail for the prequel fans and overall for shaming Geoge Lucas legacy!

@@realriorex why?

That quote made me laugh out loud, it was so good and so correct.
(I can't address the person's comment asking why the show is bad, I'll just write something rivaling war and peace in length)
Have you heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? He was on the Acolyte... That's the tragedy
Punishment, cruel and unusual, it was
No one deserves a punishment this bad, if palpatine was the one who killed him he was actually putting him out of his misery.
😂😂😂
I have seen this comment on so many videos and it's always funny every time.
@jonathansalazar4630 I'm actually hoping there's a season 2, and we get to see Osha get surgery to become Palpatine. Just change her gender to male and her skin color white, and she can be a young Palpatine, then she gets rid of qimir, goes to Naboo and becomes a Senator, and kills Plagueis.
Fun Fact: Each episode of Acolyte had a bigger budget than Godzilla Minus One. And combined, the entire first season of Acolyte had a budget 12 times the size Godzilla Minus One had.
That is some sad shit right there
Holy crap! MINUS ONE was amazing!
Just... How?? Where did all that money go? Inflation??
@@IzzysaiProof you don't need a huge budget to get a good movie.

One of the things that strikes me about this show is that everyone is so thoroughly miserable. there is no optimism, no brightness, no hope. Just bitterness, animosity and depression. It would be nice to see people who are actually happy living in this galaxy far far away.
The Prequel Trilogy is kind of like that, no? Lucas tried to make Padme seem like hope, but her dating Anakin made so little sense, we were rooting for her to ditch him already. That's how I felt watching it in the cinema back then, idk
It's like coming out of the toilet after a bad case of diarrhea: you're pissed off you had to go through that, relieved it's over, and too tired to care.

I care for the master of the greatest antagonist portrayed in the cinema, Darth Sidious. Ladies and gentlemen I present you the tragedy of Darth Palgues the Wise, stealer of ideas from a poor, hardworking cult of women! For anyone angry about the high production cost of The Acolyte, let me further show just how bad it is:
I compared seasons 1 of The Acolyte with a show that's close in production cost, House of the Dragon season 1.
Acolyte:
- 8 episodes
- 33m30s average episode length (excluding intros and credits)
- 4h22m total show length (excluding intros and credits)
- $180mil production cost; $22.5mil per episode; $40mil per hour of show (based on 4.5h of show)
HoTD:
- 10 episodes
- 58m42s average episode length (excludin intros and credits)
- 9h47m total show length (excluding intros and credits)
- $200mil production cost; $20mil per episode; $20mil per hour of show (based on 10h of show)
Despite The Acolyte being just 10% less the cost of HoTD:
- HoTD has 2 more episodes
- HoTD's episodes are on average about 25 minutes longer
- HoTD has about 5 hours and 15 minutes more of actual show length (excluding intros and credits)
- HoTD's cost per episode is cheaper by $2.5 million
- HoTD's cost per hour (based on show length) is a whole $20 million half less
Compare Andor's production costs.
man, that's insane. This sure shows how Disney like to spend its money..
Its HBO . Big old legendary directors release their films in it . 😅 Disney+ = Acolyte.. old cartoons , not so serious fiction & romcoms
And HOTD is enjoyable
I am not surprised at all by this.
When you use DEI hires, you need twice as much staff that each get equal pay, buit also each performing only one fifth as much quality work.
So you end up with less than half the results anyway.
I love how they created all these cliffhangers expecting a season 2. Yeahhh, about that.

@AmBobbyMudda This series didn't warrant a cast.
@@romanclark3274 you are correct sir

So you are telling me Anakin slaughtered "Not just the men, but the women, and the children" and his lightsaber kyber crystal didn't "bleed" and just stayed solid blue?
Lightsaber crystal bleed not a thing pre disney. but who cares disney lore is not canon as far as true fans are concerned
She touched the crystal, that is why it bled. Read the comic, it shows how Vader gets his red lightsaber.
@@Methyllbut it brings up a good point. that Anakin wasn’t wrong lol

Seemed like they made a stink about the crystal having direct contact through the damaged hilt....not much to enjoy in 8 episodes but that was in my top two moments. Even if not for everyone, I was glad to see something like that.
“Why was that ever a thing?” Basically sums up everything in this entire show. What a clusterfuck.
"Here a better hook for a second season. Have a good first season.".
Perfect quote right here.
"And if you failed to do that, a second season shouldn't even be made!"
I honestly cannot keep track of what the hell is going on. This show feels like the mad hatter yelling "CHANGE PLACES" every 7 minutes. This twin was evil, now this one is evil, but they were both good all along, but now this one is evil, but the jedi are evil, but the sith is good so really the good twin is now evil which is actually good.
Huh?
Also everybodies force abilities and power levels constantly shift.
Can't be bothered to type out the 5 million examples. Just one. In the last episode Sol beats Qimir, then Osha turns up and force chokes him to death? How does she have that ability? You can't force choke a powerful jedi unless you are way more powerful. That has never happened in the whole of live action Star Wars. Qimir didn't force choke Sol. He just lost to him. Just 1-2 days earlier he killed a whole squad of jedi and Osha had literally zero force powers. What??????
The camera work and directing on this one was especially horrid.
Cringe
Well put
Their moral compass is as confusing as the show runner's sexuality
The guy who played Sol is gonna be fine. He turned in an excellent performance, even the folks who don't like The Acolyte thought he was cool, and the critical receiption has been overall very good. Nobody is going to blame him for this.
And he has Squid Games season 2
I’m in this group & you’re absolutely correct. He was the lone bright spot of this show.
Mate, he's one of the biggest names in South Korea lol, I doubt he's worried even if Hollywood doesn't call him back. He's incredible in Chief of Staff if you're looking for top quality TV show. (basically Korea's version of House of Cards)
He was awful.
I really hope they don’t he went above and beyond for this role.
I love that he also can't get the twins right. I have up and just said "the good one" and "the bad one". But describing this episode it's now "the good one who is now bad" and "the bad one, who isn't the good one turned bad". This show blew it so hard
Because of... reasons.
That reasoning to leave the other one behind is so stoopid.
"Nothing else in here was badass, everything was just bad, or ass." I'm SO going to use that in multiple situations for the rest of my life.
I think the show forget Mei knew all along that Sol killed their mother. Because even though she meets and chats with Osha twice and talks about the jedi, she doesnt mention the mother killing. Not until the end after the audience knows.
They also said that Yorde didn’t know Osha had a sister, but a few eps later he tells her how, growing up, Mae was all Osha would talk about 🤷
@@alexp601 It's amazing that the actor didn't realize his dialog contradicted itself. I can see, unfortunately, different writers getting their wires crossed on this because they are lazy and don't communicate across episodes, but how does that Yord actor not realize his dialog is saying two different things about a very important aspect of the show?
@@jeffreyroedel9804 That same actor also said in an interview that Anakin blew up the Death Star, so… we shouldn’t have too much faith in him 😂

@@TwistedReality13 LOL I have no words then.
my problem with the crystal bleed was that it didn't happen to Anakin after he slaughtered like 200 people in a temple, but it happens to her when she gets sad
It’s explained that his resisted being bled in the comics because of his conflict between the remaining good and the dark side (and I think it also needs to be exposed to be bled, as sol’s hilt was broken and all the other examples are taken out of their sabers too. Anakin never took his out and so when he bled one it was stolen from a jedi he killed)
Though it implies osha is suddenly very much on the dark side and very strongly motivated toward the dark to the point she doesn’t even have to bleed it on purpose, which makes 0 sense. Their constant flip flopping flimsy motivations were maybe the worst part of this show
They showed anakin's crystal bleed and kelnacca's death, in the best way, they knew how. Off screen. They probably thought to themselves, what stars wars fan would want to see that?
@@tigerlancer anakin's (vader's new) crystal bled very much on 'screen' in a comic actually, concept just didn't exist back when rots came out. Vader's was famously the first time they showed bleeding lmao
@@k--musicyeah, where no one will see it, 30 years later, as an afterthought. In the least popular medium, nobody buys. I guess technically, that's supposed to be canon.
@@tigerlancer there was no bleeding 30 years ago lmao and why would they make a whole movie about vader making his lightsaber red you think that would sell? Vader 2017 was very well received as it was, so the fact you didn't know about it personally doesn't really mean much. IDK another medium that would make more sense, bc 'how do they make red lightsabers' is honestly a mundane and pretty boring question anyway. Just a random piece of lore, whether it's bleeding or synthetics.
Osha's turn to the darkside was so sudden, it gave me whiplash. . .

The actress playing osha is just terrible. All of these emotional impacts and she just has this blank stare on. She's so mad that she's gonna force choke sol but she looks like she's trying to remember if she left her stove on.
Im sure her physical attractiveness appealing to Lesley had nothing to do with it.
The former PA of a well known you-know-what would never do that, would she? 🤔
She did give a second facial expression this episode. It was as close to acting as she's gotten. Mrs. Green Bean still had only one.
She of course played the race card as soon as the criticisms were levied. If she doesn't want to be criticized, maybe do a better job? People will assume she was a diversity casting, and they'd be right to do so.
Sol's actor was also a diversity casting, but he could clearly ACT.
Pretty rich as the actress is super smug and snarky in interviews, like she's some untouchable savant of acting.
So prequel level acting.

3:50 Jeremy, tell your friends, jedi can totally force choke. Luke Skywalker choked those pigface guards in Jabba's palace.
Oh yeah, that's pretty obvious lol. I always took it as a personal vow to not be as cruel as the Sith like Jeremy thought.
To be fair, he didn't officially become a Jedi until later in the film when he refuses to finish Vader off and join Sidious. That's the point when he declares he's become a Jedi, like his father before him. But he sort of force crushed those droids in Mandalorian...
Anakin also did it a couple of times as a Jedi in The Clone Wars series
Actually, according to the lore he used a different ability (force shock I think). It was made a different ability because they didn't want Luke to be using one that was seen as an evil power.
Don't forget, force choke was the first power we saw Luke use in Jedi. He uses it to subdue two Gammorean Guards.
Also in Cartoon Network's The Clone Wars (2-D cartoon), After General Greivious is getting away with Senator Palpatine and is in fighting stance, Mace Windu crushes his fist together and you see Grievious' inner-biological parts collapse.
That's why in Revenge of the Sith he's constantly gasping for air and coughing.
Again, Luke and Anakin are not great examples. Anakin was seduced before he started using Dark side powers. Luke was destined to not be a pure Jedi. He eventually became a user of both dark and light powers, not believing that the Force was purely dark or light but a combination of both.
It was a visual parallel to show how Luke is more like his father and liable to fall like his father did, but notice he didn't kill them.
Force choking shouldn't be just a Dark Side power, because one of the best ways to stop bad guys is putting them into choke holds. Cutting off air and blood temporally, especially from far away, would be one of the best ways for galactic peacekeepers to subdue bad guys.
Like how if they could control force lighting well enough, they could use it like a taser.
Honestly, Jedi need to carry blasters if nothing else then for the stun-setting.
I was just about to bring that up.
@@MegaKnight2012 there are more force powers than just choke. We just rarely see anything other than. Jedi powers are meant to more passive in nature. Nothing that would cause fear, anger, or hate.

Fans were desperate to make sense out of this awful story. But it turns out that there is no twist, the writers are just that ret*rded. 😂 It’s so sad that fan theories were 100X better than the actual plot. I also read a theory before episode 3 about the twins actually being one person & schizophrenic because Mae & Osha hadn’t been shown in the same room yet & the one scene that included them both was oddly shot so fans thought that was the clue & that Osha was force projecting as Mae while she was imprisoned. 😂 “There MUST be something good here,” fans thought. “There’s NO WAY the show is actually this sh*t.” And it turns out…it was! Jeremy in 2024, dressed for a funeral, more than a bottle of whiskey deep: "what's the name of the planet? Grandoc?"
I have to ask:
Up until now, the Dark Side was thematically allegorical for the "easy way to power", the path of least resistance that would inevitably have long-term consequences you didn't want, but worked out in the short term.
This show ends with the protagonist embracing the Dark Side, killing a man who did nothing wrong, and walking into the sunset with the guy who kidnapped her and killed all her friends... AND PRESENTS THAT AS A GOOD ENDING. (wonderful message, btw. This show is unironically pro-Stockholm Syndrome)
How does this show, having a message like "actually, the Dark Side is great", not completely break the theme of all of Star Wars?
Also, if the Dark Side has nothing to do with morals or good and evil and is literally just a tool like any other, why would anyone bother with the Light Side? The Dark Side is, objectively, more powerful, according to this show, anyway. There is, in Acolyte canon, no reason to care about the Light Side at all, or balance at all.
But, I guess therein lies the problem. This show is just a very immature, very unintelligent take on the nature of good and evil, which is what the Light and Dark sides stand for, regardless of what this show says.
Progressive Liberalism in a nutshell.
I really didn’t perceive the ending like that. Having villainous characters shed their ambiguity and become full-on evil is actually a really compelling idea that I wish media did more of. Reminds me of Shigaraki from MHA and what Rian Johnson wanted to do with Kylo Ren in TLJ (before JJ reversed it with his lame redemption).

(1) When Indara was murdered by Mae, Sol was at the jedi headquarters training young children. And, since the jedi went to arrest Osha, there would be a record of the bartender's witness statement.
Plus, Trinity called in the incident -- saying that she was being attacked by "an unknown force user." Therefore, there is a clear record of the timeline, making it very easy for a jedi to prove that Sol couldn't have been there.
(2) When Torbin was quasi-murdered, Sol was talking with other jedi who lived at that temple. They also tracked Mae down and fought her in public. So, there are jedi as witnesses (and, presumably, some kind of record of the incident).
ALSO, YODA WOULD BE ABLE TO SENSE THAT THE GREEN LADY IS CLEARLY LYING.
Bonus: Episode 8 strongly implies that Mother Aniseya was killed because she was "too powerful." When, actually, she was killed in self-defense -- because she turned into a smoke demon and started vaporizing a child.
There is no place here for common sense.
Sol is a lolicon
Nah, they'll claim that Seoul killed the Jedi because he was covering up for Osha.
The problem is, this scene is intended to whitewash the murders to the Republic Council. It's not going to get past the Jedi as they're supposed to be Jedi.
Not in this show, but it simply has failure points unless they also delete evidence and witnesses. Flight Logs. security footage. Things that Leslye Headland knows all about deleting evidence and hotel records, laundering money and clothing, et al.
Just like Yoda or Ki-Adi Mundi can't be in the show, because they would know there's sith again.
Problem is Vernestra/Nepotism hire... is a Super-Detective. She has even worse face-acting than OSHA. She can see everything that happened.
So of course, the writers have to stop her from ever going outside or visiting a murder scene.
OH NO MY CONVENIENT SKILL TO SEE MURDER AND CRIMES IN THE PAST! What could happen.
She also knows that the witches died because they attacked the Jedi. And kept it secret.
The Jedi somehow have to work with the absurd evidence that they're perfect twins, despite Vernestra's convenient knowledge of the history and deaths of everyone, including the context of where people were in the time and location.
And she would also know that OSHA and Mae are two people. And she knows that Qimir killed the Jedi in the mask he's wearing.
Except, Sol died. And Mae lost her memory.
How did this happen ? They saw a video tape lying on the ground that had the words "Leslye Headland Casting Couch Tape 115."
I wouldn't be surprised if the Darth Plagueis moment was filmed two weeks ago and edited into this episode in a weak attempt to get people to stop hating on the show. Literally came out of nowhere, had no build up, and no payoff.
I guess the planet had some special magic thing that allowed the witches to create life, it attracted them to live there, etc.. and Plagueis was the one who altered the planet somehow
No episode title or description cracked me uppppp lol "Episode 8: Watch the episode now!"
"Where is the money?" Thank you Jeremy for watching what we couldn't.
Sol beats a hardened Sith Lord who’s got Jedi bodies on his record, but can’t defend himself from a Padawan’s force choke.
Actually, it made sense. It really was like he was swallowing his own poison.
Maybe he's into kink
@@Tomsfoolery no. it definitely does not make any sense. why do you think we don't just see "Choke Wars"? because force choke is easy to block for another force user.
He let her. He said "it's okay"
My thought on it is that even though he could, he didn't want to. He struggled with the guilt of it for years hoping to find solace in the teachings of the Jedi, but found none, (Just like Osha). I'm sure in his mind if anyone had a right to punish him for his crime it would be her, and part of him was relieved to finally be rid of the guilt. It was the one time in the show he was honest with himself about how he was feeling, something the Jedi never allowed him to be.
Only way osha could choke out Sol is because he let her. Period. But the emotions jumping back and forth is just ridiculous. Fuck Disney
I don't know, jedi/sith being emotional wrecks is pretty on brand.
Side note: Anakin forced choked a bunch of people in The Clone Wars when he was still a Jedi and Luke possibly force choked two Gamorrean guard in Return of the Jedi - that one is up for debate.
I’m glad Jeremy watches the garage so I don’t have to. It’s great that I’ve found a critic that I agree with 99% of the time.
Bruh
I hate watching my garage aswell... never know what will try to slip in
You agree with his opinions about a show you’ve never watched…lol ok bud
@@D3viant517I know that shit tastes bad without tasting it as well. The show smells bad and I saw it come out of an asshole.
@@D3viant517
Well, this show is so bad from just watching clips on RUclips, like the witch scene, that there's no reason to watch it. You can just tell it's bad. Like Velma.
Love the joker in an art gallery metaphor!
I think in the canon comics about Maul and Vader there was a thing about the no weapon thing.
The Sith dont find or make their crystals in canon. They need to kill a Jedi, take his lightsaber and then bleed the crystal red.
So this is an extrention. Not only kill without a lightsaber, kill without a weapon.
Bleeding the crystals with hatred to turn them red is a cool idea. I think it would be cool is your average Sith just couldn't properly use a regular lightsaber without doing that. Think Mando swinging around the Darksaber.
I mean if the show could explain in any way shape or form what is going on that would be great though.
@@neodigremo its just a plasmablade, why wouldn't they be able to use it? they have the same pre-cog shit that allows any force user to predict bolts and where their opponents are swinging/shooting.
@@keithfilibeck2390 It's to do with the Kyber Crystal. For a lightsaber to work it needs Kyber (and getting your crystal is a big ceremony). The special thing about these crystals is they respond to the force and it enhances how the weapon works. This is admittedly newer canon, as the older EU stuff just had them be a laser sword. But the mysticism around the weapon now is something I like.
What this means though is that the force interaction bit you need to truly use a lightsaber is absent in a Sith, or worse the blade fights against you. I mean Mando again could not use the Darksaber right due to his state of mind. In current lore a regular Kyber crystal will react badly to the dark side in it's user.
Tl:DR - Lightsaber crystals are force sensitive too, and using the dark side around them does bad juju.
@@neodigremo well its not absent in them once they bleed the crystal.
@@neodigremo The crystal in Anakin's blue lightsaber sure didn't give him any problems as he killed Sand People, took Windu's arm, killed younglings, and fought Obi-Wan.
People seem to forget that luke was walking around force choking people at the beginning of the rotj
Came in to say the same thing. Thank you!
Yea only some of video games really made it so only Sith could use certain powers and Jedi could use others. Think it's supposed to be like anyone strong in the force can use any power they want, but Jedi tend to not usually use the lethal ones just due to their values, meanwhile Sith don't really care about healing anyone but themselves. Though, who cares what's canon at this point. Disney Starwars is a joke.
@@nokturnallex2160 which I am pretty sure was just for video game rpg stuff.
Luke isn't a traditional jedi, and he didn't have a master to tell him "Force Choke bad." It was more "I don't feel like force pushing people to knock them unconscious, I want to try something new."
And he was dressed all in black, like a Sith
I watch each one of your review of the Acolyte and I don't feel like I missed out on anything at all. In fact I think this way was way more entertaining ^^
This review is the only thing I'm grateful to the acolyte for.
The best and most consistent character in the show is the obviously evil Sith who murders several people on screen and convinces a traumatised young woman (a close friend to at least one of his murder victims) to kill the nearest thing she has to a father in cold blood.........
Let that sink in.
Also Jeremy, I echo you on the Jedi Order. Yes 1000 years of having won essentially had made them a little complacent, and they let themselves get forced into a situation that compromised their ideals when that blindsided them. But the Order was a good thing. They were the heroes of the story. They didn't fall due to hubris or flaws. They flawed because the bad guy was able to squeak a win.
And then in RoTJ Luke won..... by BEING A FREAKING JEDI!
The whole point of the prequels is to show the Jedi flaws and hubris. Like that’s literally the point of them. The Jedi are too ingrained with the politics of the time. What world would a Jedi just let slaves be slave? A Jedi would do everything in their power to free all slaves, not just one because they want him to be a Jedi, but they can’t because it’s outside the jedi jurisdiction essentially. The Jedi are literally told by count Dooku that the Sith Lord is the leader of the senate in attack of the clones and yet Palpatine is still hidden. There are 7 jedi masters in a room with Palpatine at any given time, literally a Sith master, and they can’t even sense him. That is the definition of hubris. And in the acolyte we see more of the beginning of them getting to that point. They are fundamentally good but fundamentally flawed at the same time because they are beginning to have that senate oversight and be brought farther under the wing of galactic politics.
@@bjmanzeycorrect - but do they ever compromise their integrity in their hubris?
They feel they need to be subservient to the government - which is what gets them into trouble fighting a war, and its the reason they can't go around freeing slaves.
In the high republic, they are more independent, but they have even more integrity.
In this show - they are painted as having the same level of integrity as the sith. And that is a fundamental misunderstanding of Lucas mythology
@@writingref yeah you literally said yourself that their integrity is compromised because a Jedi would never allow slavery to exist if they were true Jedi. But they have to because as you said they are subservient to a government and not the will of the force. You can’t tell me that four Jedi who made very critical errors by not listening to the council and such are the definition of the Jedi order. Everything we’ve seen of the four masters shows that they are heavily compromised and not what the Jedi stand for. But also they aren’t an example of what the order actually is as they go against the wishes of the council. You can’t tell me in a thousand generations that the actions of 4 Jedi, I guess 5 if you include Vern could possibly show that the entirety of the Jedi have the integrity of the Sith.
Knight Templar Jedi who go around purging Dark Side witches absolutely feels like something that could happen in-universe (and would make the Imperial Inquisition feel karmic in hindsight). Calling the Jedi the "good guys" sight unseen is reductive, they're enforcers of a status quo that allows slavery and their religion calls for the destruction of anything even resembling the Dark Side. A young witch orphaned by these Jedi who now seeks revenge is a compelling character hook for an anti-hero. The problem (beyond the show fumbling everything it touches) is that killing Jedi is only fun in a video game (such as Star Wars Unleashed), so at minimum the Acolyte was made for the wrong medium...
I mean, isn't it quite a big point in the PT that the Jedi, while good, were getting slightly arrogant and affected by hubris? In thinking they could easily take on the training of Anakin, not realizing the danger at any point. Their removing children from parents early, and forbidding any attachment later on, also seemed unhealthy.
Back then I thought it was pretty brave, to portray the Jedi as flawed like that. The PT movies are bad, but that has to do with the execution, not the overall story. Which came from Lucas, so I consider it canon.
My father and I had a running gag that Basil was a Sith lord. We laughed so hard when he betrayed Sol
My father and I had a running gag about wanting Basil to die from a blaster shot that came from the sky
The moral of the story is:
1. The philosophical ideals of the Jedi Order apparently wasn't a thing in the High Republic. The Jedi are just enforcers capable of using the Force.
2. Being bad is cool! It's all about self-validation and "Being all you can be" these days.
If being bad is cool, then I guess being a n@zi is cool. The show runners absolutely were fucking stupid.
Why did Anakin’s lightsaber never turn red? He sure did a lot of killing in ROTS.
"...we need to talk."
"GREAT deception, I sense. Think me blind, do you? BLAMELESS, Sol is! Take over the investigation, I shall - a Jedi, YOU are NOT."
Master Rwoh: " I need to make this cover up of a murder that wasn't a murder that didn't need to be covered up.. by covering it up and deceiving the senate.."
brilliant.. what a smart plot twist that TOTALLY makes sense for the Jedi.
“Bald green Jedi is there…” I laughed so hard 😂
I've honestly haven't watched an episode of it, so all of these reviews have saved me hours of my life. Thank you Jeremy ❤
Thank you for the video Jeremy!!! Been watching consistently since 2010!!
The minute I saw they wrote the Jedi to be cops, I knew they were going to be the villains. It was inevitable.
DEFUND THE JEDI 🙄
Yeah...the writers aren't subtle at all. Or clever. Or good writers.
I'm glad I have these reviews to keep me up to date without actually having to put myself through watching it.
Jeremy entering act two with a new bottle...
And soon, a new liver?!
I feel sorry for that bottle that needed to be opened up for the last episode
You putting the breaking bad reference really puts into perspective how much money the acolyte just threw away. Disney is fundamentally flawed and corrupt. Truly the current day entertainment empire.
There is a compilation of every single Star Wars Video on this channel. You can watch Jeremy go from a bright eyed kid in a star wars cape. To an alcoholic.
It’a so cute that the writers think they’re going to get season 2
It's Disney, so they will. They loove to burn money.

You know it’s completely chalked when a legends fan who’s favourite novel was the Darth Plagueis book sees a canon Darth Plagueis and feels absolutely nothing. (At least I think that was him)
It was and of course he was wasted like everything else in the show
It’s all just wasted potential. Would’ve been so much better if there was a Damask Holdings reference or something small. Better than him watching from a cave Gollum-esque
The show did the impossible. It included yoda and plagueis while making nobody care about either of them.
