My first year living in the north west was untypical for the Ribble, a dry winter followed by summer drought, could walk side to side across most of the Ribble throughout the whole summer! Crazy stuff. It meant I could film from above and memorise the riverbed though!
Backlog! Not been out much since open season, although have had some success rolling meat for Ribble Barbel (next edit once the Tench Video is finished!)
@@jorvikangler sounds like a very enjoyable approach to your fishing mate. I'm well overdue a general trotting session with maggots! All the best, Joel
Hard fishing when a rivers shallow but I find it to be at it's most beautiful. I've never fished the Ribble but this looks glorious.

1970 last fished ribble . Only change is better tackle 😊
barbel? quite a few changes I can think of but still beautiful
And less cameras ruining the place,
The simple methods still work the best at times 😀, although there is no doubt that rod tech has come on in leaps and bounds!
Surely litter and pollution is far more damaging than a camera or two!
@@albionangling not really...
Looks like a pleasant time was been had. No bream?
Not had a bream from the Ribble yet 😅, it's all focus on barbel on fly for Ribble now!!!
@@albionangling Have fun
