    You will likely find a version of a chia seed pudding recipe on almost every food blog - thick and creamy, with just the slightest hint of seedy texture (similar to tapioca pudding).
    Many recipes for chia seed pudding call for chia seeds, plant milk, and a sweetener. There is nothing wrong with that, but if you boost the amount of protein and healthy fats and leave out the sugar, you will feel satiated and satisfied for longer.
    Some high-protein plant-based yogurts include Siggis Plant-Based Yogurt and Silk Greek-Style Coconut Yogurt.

    Chia Pudding is amazing! Energy-Bar-Lady keeps hitting it out of the park with these simple yet satiating recipes. So happy to see that Unsolicited-Food-Critic is wearing jeans, I thought he lived in black and white swim trunks. Also, the correct answer is - They are all your favorites! how dare you say anything Energy-Bar-Lady makes tastes thin. Stop trying to throw stuff in there to mess with perfection. This coming from the guy who likes white store-bought bread, her lentil buns are not "heavy" they're "big doughed". Energy-Bar-Lady can do no wrong! She is a vision of pure beauty with the voice of an angel.

    Does anyone know if the naked powder has an aftertaste?
    I don’t like any protein powder because of the aftertaste.
    I tried many including the natural flavour like raw organic pea protein, but I still can’t drink it with any type of food or smoothie. But I tolerate it a bit when I mixed it with lots of water and ice. Thanks in advance.

    They say we can't absorb nutrients from small seeds unless we grind them up. What about chia seeds in puddings like this? What's your opinion?

    • @NutritionRefined
      @NutritionRefined  4 месяца назад +3

      A great question - the surface of chia seeds is delicate and easily breaks apart when exposed to moisture, so they are typically prepared with liquids, such as nut milk. In this way, they are absorbed and digested well in their whole form, unlike flax seeds.

      I have wanted to try basil seeds forever! Do they act exactly like chia seeds? I know they have a gel-like texture when soaked in water. Just wondering whether they have the same potency?

    • @Kotyk_Murkotyk
      @Kotyk_Murkotyk 4 месяца назад +2

      @@NutritionRefined I'd say basil seeds are quite different. They produce cooling and filling effect, while chia seeds are energy boosters. Basil seeds soak much faster though, and they expand into a big gelatinous mass. I prefer them, because I'm on a lectin free diet.
