I've been doing this for quite a while only I use chocolate protein powder and chocolate collagen powder. Very yummy. I don't use any extra sweetener because the protein and collagen are sweetened. You can also use peanut butter protein or caramel protein and collagen with a little butterscotch extract. Super easy and tasty!
The breakfast burrito video brought me to your channel and this video encouraged me to subscribe. Picture, quality, and humor are all great so I'm looking forward to what else you have to offer!
Made this today with some unflavored protein and I have to say this is one of the best ways to enjoy a protein meal. I've made a batch and it's in the fridge for later. Yum yum.
Thanks for this I made it and really enjoyed it and will be making it regularly. Great food prep. I also tried with a scoop of collagen into the mix and it gave it a really creamy taste. I also added a touch of salt because my yogurt is a little sour and it balanced it out really well. I swapped out honey for stevia. Thanks again
Looks yummy - thanks for the idea! You may be interested in knowing that "Dutch Processed" means the cocoa is alkali processed, which creates milder (less bitter) flavor -- but it ALSO reduces flavanol levels, so it has fewer health benefits than regular cocoa powder. Also, chocolate can sometimes have high levels of heavy metals. According to Consumer Lab, the current brand with the least heavy metal content is the "Good & Gather" brand from Target.
Just received all the ingredients for this and made a bowl of the chocolate pudding. Even immediately after mixing with just a tablespoon the texture was great. I put the bowl in the fridge and expect it to get even better. Thanks for the recipe!
I'm just discovering your channel brother and it's an insta-subscription with alerts enabled. You're the best Ethan. No useless stuff, no fancy gears. Just common sense, a special care about health by avoiding shit they put in the food nowadays, macros fitting, and humor. Stay healthy and fit my man. Kiss from France
Looks great! Going to try this with some plant-based yogurt as I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the estrogen and possible BLV in dairy. Thanks for sharing
Great video! I was looking for some home made alternatives to the store bought protein puddings as they contain a lot of sweeteners and I try to avoid eating those almost daily. I'll definitely try this recipe. I love how simple it is. Subscribed
nice! I also do a lot of similar stuff. one thing I do differently is I take casein instead of whey. just casein with water even without yoghurt will create a texture that is pudding-like already. additionally if you wanna save calories you could swap out the honey with calorie free sweetener. remember 15g of honey have about 50kcal
Thanks for this recipe. It's been tough finding recipes using unflavored whey, so I've just had a huge bag wasting away in the cabinet. Trying this immediately.
Hi Ethan! I’d just like to say I love your videos. I have made your frozen burrito recipes 2-3 times and the 12 minute macaroni at least twice a week. Thank you for your videos! If you have any similar meals to the 12 minute meals please post them eventually! Love how easy it is to just weigh it all out it and it’s done so fast. PS, we share the same name lol. Thanks so much, and keep posting!!
I’ve been making something like this since starting keto @ 3 months ago,but I use Stevia or Monkfruit instead of honey. I frequently add sugar free cool whip and whisk it up till its light and fluffy. Sometimes I use instant sugar free dry pudding or jello to make different flavors, instead of the cocoa & sweetener.
If i have the calories to spare, i like to also add chia seeds or old fashioned oats, then let sit in the fridge for 30-60 minutes. The extra carbs i think works great to thicken things up and onviously feel more satiating.
I've been eating a similar dish with greek yogurt (2% or nonfat) and whey (tastes better) or casein (stays with me longer) powder. I add in ground flax seed, pecans, various dried fruits, fresh blueberries, and pecans. Raspberry powder is great in it too. I also add creatine. It is decadent-tasting, very filling, and delicious, and has good macro for a high protein diet.
You got me @hate protein powders. It ruins everything period. I just make mine with high protein yogurt, peanut butter, cacao or carob powder. It’s delicious. And I have the plant base protein powder unflavoured, cause flavoured ones also ruins everything, with just water and lots of ice and a squeeze of lemon, so I will not taste the protein at all.
I do one large box of instant sugar free fat free pudding, 1.5 cups skim milk, 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk, 100 grams of protein powder - mix - separate into 3 bowls - chill 240 cal, P: 34g, C: 22g, F: 1.8g
This is tasty! I was skeptical of calling it "pudding" but it does taste a bit like pudding. Next time I make it, I will use a little less honey and a few grams of mini chocolate chips instead. I wouldn't say that this version is too sweet, I just think few chocolate chips would taste better.
I'll need to try this after my workout today. But will opt for a bit of mibk fruit extract instead of honey for the sweetener. Prefer to keep things high protein, low sugar.
I've been using that same protein powder for about 2 years and I make this same recipe minus the honey, I like to use the zero sugar drink packs, strawberry or orange,.
Can you please make more budget friendly freezable meals? I’ve lost 5lbs to these meals you make and they taste good. But I like to cook all day one day a week and just nuke and go the rest of the week. Your breakfast burrito has changed my life ❤
I am elated to hear the good news! Thank you for sharing that with me! And, yes, I’m pretty keen on the freezable meal prep stuff myself, so you can definitely expect more to come. I’m working on getting out another breakfast recipe, once I get over being sick. I greatly appreciate your interest and support. It is changing my life ❤️
You MUST try Oikos Anything But Plain nonfat plain Greek yogurt. It’s amaaaaazing and makes chocolate protein yogurt (that’s what this is, I make it all the time) so, so good.
I'm newly subscribed to this channel and I love all your recipes so far do you think you could do a ninja creami recipe? I didn't really want one I just make all my protein ice cream in my Ninja blender, call my husband got me one anyway and here we are...so I have to find good low cal recipes for it. And maybe you can think of some for upcoming vids?❤❤❤ty
Not trying to alarm you, but if you make the meal prep version as it is said in the description, you'll probably be confused by the strong whey flavor and thick texture.
Been doing this for years. Glad I'm not the only one. I like to add cinnamon or nutmeg sometimes, and if I think I need more fiber that day (plus I want a little crunch) I'll add some chia seeds.
Hey Ethan, haven’t seen your vids in a while, hope you’re well. This video had even more flow than your other ones, the improvement is remarkable. Good job and keep it up) However i believe you can do better than this if you structure your videos even more and give it a storyline, i already see you doing these but there’s a room to grow. Of course you get to choose your editing style but i believe you can brand yourself better and actually become a big youtuber, it just depends on what your priorities are right now, it’s either all in on your channel growth or posting as a hobby and not going insane in the long run. Good luck mate :)
As always, I appreciate you watching and rooting me on. Thank you for the feedback, as it’s good to hear from someone who’s been there from the start. I’d like to hear more about what you mean with the storyline point you made. I’ve been thinking about ways to speak more on what I believe in the videos regarding diet and lifestyle, but I am afraid of making videos too wordy and bogged down by my opinions. I love the idea of telling a story, but how do I make a recipe video that is designed to be utilitarian into a story? I’m sure I can come up with some ideas, but I’d love to hear your thoughts, too! I’m definitely still wanting this to be full-time. The posting frequency, however, is at a hobby pace because of perfectionism and too much focus on numbers.
@@ethanpaff I gotchu ) Some of my favorite channels would be Will Tennyson, Adam Ragusea, Charlie Anderson, YouSuckAtCooking. But it’s all up to you to find your own style and this takes some time. The videos you post now are already quite decent, so don’t stress about your pace too much, have fun and be authentic.
I do this with a good gormet vanilla protein powder and frozen blueberries on top almost every day for work. Swear to good the shit tastes like cheesecake. Mad protein.

🥹 I miss you all, too. Always 💪
I literally thought you were atleast a million subs channel the quality, editing and your humor is soo good you made this really entertaining to watch
That means a lot! That’s the plan 😉
@bruhhdhxhhsdjjsjsjjff8814 ngl it's just consistency, if he uploads this quality of video every 1-2 weeks he'll skyrocket

I love adding either natty or powdered PB to it, too. Welcome back dude, missed the content.
I’ve been skeptical of trying that, but I guess I should if you’re suggesting it. And thank you, man. It means a lot ❤️
Glad to see the channel is back in action this year 😁
This is my go-to dessert. It’s so good and very low on the guilt index - bonus! Love chocolate, will try the vanilla. Great video
Made this today with some unflavored protein and I have to say this is one of the best ways to enjoy a protein meal. I've made a batch and it's in the fridge for later. Yum yum.

Thank you! And thank you for the info on cocoa powder; I didn’t know that! I’ll be sure to stick to the Target brand
No sour yogurt taste?
Aww sweet comment to her. "Because you're sweet"❤
So glad to see you back! Your channel really inspired me to make an effort to eat at home, can’t wait to try this out :)
I am happy to help 😊. And thank you for the kind words!
your grandma sounds so sweet
Just received all the ingredients for this and made a bowl of the chocolate pudding. Even immediately after mixing with just a tablespoon the texture was great. I put the bowl in the fridge and expect it to get even better. Thanks for the recipe!
Its not a pudding its flavored greek yoghurt 0_o
I'm going to try this, and I'm gonna use pb2 for flavoring.

the lil chuckle at the end.
its simple but solid. Going to use this instead of just greek yoghurt for my muesli.

I used to throw in frozen berries, and have them melt as the day goes by
Ooh that sounds good!

Wow this is amazingly simple. And I love the presentation. +1 sub.
Plus 2, now. Thanks!!❤
First time I’ve seen this video, but I’ve been eating something incredibly similar every night and it’s THE BEST!!
You had me at the call to Mawmaw. Adorable.
Now I want to make this!! Why didn't I think of it!? 😋
I do one large box of instant sugar free fat free pudding, 1.5 cups skim milk, 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk, 100 grams of protein powder - mix - separate into 3 bowls - chill
240 cal, P: 34g, C: 22g, F: 1.8g
Sprinkle a little corn starch in it, and it'd probably be a bit thicken and more pudding like for longer.

57k subs already, here since the freezer burritos. Keep it up
❤️ 💪 thank you!
This is awesome! I've been looking for a low-sugar high protein dessert for some time now.

Will definitely try this but with stevia or monk fruit. Just ordered whey today will get some unflavored next great idea.
I've been using that same protein powder for about 2 years and I make this same recipe minus the honey, I like to use the zero sugar drink packs, strawberry or orange,.
Looks very yummy - just a quick question - how long can you store the preped portions in the fridge?
Thank you. I store for up to 5 days. I find that to be a safe time span for most things.
@@ethanpaff thank you!
this is a genius use of simple, cheap ingredients and simple processing, going in my bookmarks :p
😊
We’ve missed you!!!
Ditto! ❤️
You should try making your own protein jello from scratch, it's been a life saver getting below 10% this cut for me
I’ll have to look into it! Thanks for the idea!
Jell-O has sugar free pudding you can make with fairlife ultra filtered (higher protein) skim milk
nice, you're back again at it
Of course 😏
@@ethanpaff 🧡 keep em coming
bro if you added collagen powder you could thicken up your pudding and your joints
I made this last night, didn't have vanilla only white choc protein powder and MY LORD it was amazing, I inhaled it... the wife didn't get a look in!!
Gimme that high protein pie crust bro.. perfect trifecta: puddin, pie crust, and me
Ooooh 👀 good idea!

lol yeah, 125g not 250g of whey for those wondering
This looks great! Thanks for sharing
OOOOOH does this look good, I need to make some, thank you sir
bro where WERE YOU please more uploads!!
i'll try that, but usually i'm not a fan of the tast of whey and/or casein in yogurt
Let me know what you think!
I'm anxious to try this thnku !!
And when the world needed him the most, he returned.
😂 ❤️
Thank you for this it’s delicious ❤
Thank you for sharing
Bro can we use Dahi instead of Yogurt
Good question. It looks like Dahi is higher fat than the Greek yogurt I use. It’s up to you if you don’t mind, but it should have a similar flavor.
Nice one!
The pudding looks really delicious!
Thank you!
You're welcome.@@ethanpaff
Been doing this for years. Glad I'm not the only one. I like to add cinnamon or nutmeg sometimes, and if I think I need more fiber that day (plus I want a little crunch) I'll add some chia seeds.
When I do this I add some MCT oil. Makes all the difference
Is there a (maybe flavored) whey protein brand that you recommend for protein shakes to put in Blender bottles?
Yes please!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Ethan, may i ask why you use nonfat of full fat yogurts? Are you just hitting the fats in other meals so you cut here?
Exactly. I get plenty of fat from my other meals, so I keep it low fat with the pudding.
Can't wait to try this
You can also use silken tofu - game changer 🤩
I've never liked yogurt flavor - does that come through very strongly in this, or is it masked by the other ingredients and the mix?
I’m in the same boat as you and I don’t notice it much if it does at all.
blud added greeogourt and protien powder and made it look so fancy
"I don't care if it's precise"
*uses a scale for everything to ensure preciseness
great vid as always
Try freezing cottage cheese for 2 hours.
Remove and whisk up.
Add whatever you like, enjoy.
bonus: make (british) flapjacks and add some crumbled to turn this into breakfast
Hey that's actually pretty good. Low cal and most likely tastier than a shake

Good
I wonder if you add egg whites. It will become more like a mousse and you’ll have more protein.
Great idea!
instead use jello sugar free pudding and a fairlife protein shake its quick and easy and taste good
just mix the two and mix with a whisk and there
Have you tried adding your creatine to it?
Never thought of it!
Wouldn't recommend it, the creatine won't mix very well and will taste like you've added sand to a nice yogurt.
