Been waiting for this! Also suggestion, rice crispy Ice Cream?? I wonder if cream of rice could be turned into it
Possibly. Need to do some testing!
They do satisfy your sweet tooth even if you eat the whole recipe all at once. Lol. Have you considered small apple pies or types of cheesecakes? They could be made individually and frozen for later if and when necessary. Also please consider making your own protein powder. I know that you can do better than what is out there now. It is just a suggestion though. Love this channel ❤👍❤
Xylitol! Not only are these RKTs full of protein, that xylitol is cariostatic and will help prevent cavities. Can't beat that.
seems like only a matter of time until this channel blows way, way up - appreciate what you do
Ok the added note about them being very unsafe for dogs was appreciated!! Can tell you really care about what you do.
That speaks volumes of this guy!!
Gotta look out for the pups. They are allergic to so many things, especially fruits.
@@Exercise4CheatMealsI appreciate that man, I give everything to my dogs do the warming was much appreciated
I agree!
100%. The video is great but that added info was a huge differentiator.
If you add the vanilla extract after you've mixed in the protein powder, the alcohol in it will loosen up the marshmallows and make them a bit easier to mix in the rice krispies.
nice point, forgot about the alcohol.
Nah, there’s not enough used to actually make a difference and if there was them you have to add it in earlier anyway to vaporize the alcohol out
Goated comment
Great recipe. I used chocolate whey protein powder instead of vanilla. Curbs that chocolate kick! Also put down parchment paper to smoosh it down. No sticky hands and no mess! Thanks for the recipe.
Made these for my wife and I and we finished them in 2 days. She’s requesting more already, this ones a hit!
Take a hike you bag licker!
I think it's AWESOME that you pointed out the danger of xylitol with dogs. The recipe looks good, I'm going to try it... I'm also going to try it with fruit loops.
Made these just now with the Ryse marshmallow flavor protein… SUPER EASY TO MAKE. Probably the easiest recipe I’ve ever made, didn’t have any issues mixing crispy rice and marshmallows together. I did try to spray my hands with cooking oil but still got a lot on my hands. Used a silicone spatula to press down when in baking pan to spread it evenly and that worked a lot better. Delicious super quick recipe that will now be one of my weekly’s! Thank you Nick… YOURE THE BEST anabolic RUclipsr out there!
DANI IS BACK! Thank you for following up with a review after you tried them! Love it. It is good to see you in the comment section. Made me smile.
I might try these with a peanut butter marshmallow whey by Cellucor.
Ooo Ryse I forgot! I have PE science gourmet vanilla and since he showed it to not use...I'm trying to find a different
The most elusive protein powder 😅. When I find it in stock and not overpriced, I make sure to buy in bulk lol.
I just tried this with the ryse protien powder, and they came out chewy and not very crispy. I must have done something wrong. Flavor is great though
Gonna have 1 million views one day and as many followers if you keep these bangers up. Excited to try these. They better be as good as you say!
For real, I assumed he had a lot more subscribers! Someday soon I’m sure!

Put rice crispy mix in bowl
Spray hands with spray pat down to make even
Enjoy
THANKY!!
Some heroes don't wear capes!
This is hands down one of the best protein desert/bar recipes in existence. I was eating the mix off of the spoon before I could get it into the pan.
I made these today and holy cow! This dude has the best recipes out of all the protein people on RUclips.

Thank you for explaining the difference in effect between casein and whey. No one ever does this and every cooking recipe can vary between which one is optimal. I've been using one or the other or a blend for years and I still have no intuitive sense on which one works better when cause no one explains it!
No problem! I always try to test with multiple types of protein to see what produces the best results.
the main difference from casein and whey, is that casein absorbs water while mixing and whey not really, in a sense casein acts like corn starch and whey acts like instant cocoa, try it on 2 tiny bowls with little water on both and you can notice
that is why the treats got soggy, the excess water the casein retained did not evaporate well so the rice absorbed it instead, in contrast whey did let go of most water allowing the rice to get dryer and crrrrrryspy
as a rule i follow, for creamy or moist foods like oats, creams or baked goodness i go with casein, but if i want a dryer result then whey is the way to go, but there is always room to experiment for taste :)
@@nezothgarone2319 id love to know more. When and why are whey casein blends used? This explanation is amazing, thanks
@@SS-wi4tm Whey is quick to absorb in the body (about 10 grams per hour), whereas Casein takes a bit long (about 6 grams per hour).. Many protein powders blend both so you receive optimal protein intake over time
@@97TP this is the only info ever provided about these. But in cooking recipes they act very differently and also they taste different. I want to understand the cooking aspect.
Awesome video, much appreciated. Helped me out immeasurably!
I can't wait to try these! One of my all time favorite treats.
Me too, until I stopped eating junk food.
I just made these and I LOVE THEM. Lowkey it was exhausting to mix the rice crispies in before the mix cooled, and my cut wasn’t as clean as yours, but it was still really quick and easy. Definitely would make again
I LOVE YOU ALREADY MADE IT. LETS GO!!!!
That’s part of the workout! I make my Rice Krispies in a glass bowl over a pot with water in it so I can lower that heat and keep the marshmallow softer longer while mixing
Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you so much man these are fkn amazing I hope your channel blows up more
This and the pulled pork/mac&cheese meal prep made me a huge fan. Keep up the recipes!
Really enjoying the new video format, keep up the good work brother!
Rice krispy treats are my favorite dessert! I’m going to try these
I just found your channel and all the recipes I've seen so far look great man. Will definitely be trying out a few next week.
Saving this recipe! You are the man!
bro that asmr from the snap crackle and pop with the background music was sensational
Thanks bro, love your work
Looks so good. Only change I'd have to make is adding ground up redhots on top.
That’s awsome that you tell us weather or not you can feed these to your pup. For that I will subscribe ❤
Great recipe Nick! I have used Ryse Jet Puffed Marshmallow protein and it was 🔥! I would really using the Ryse Skippy protein powder for Creami recipes.
Nickkkk!!! Coming thru with the RKTs! Good looking out for the honorable mention of almond milk since I can’t drink reg milk anymore. Still going to make this since any plant milk doesn’t seem to phase my tastebuds.✌🏼
I think you will still love these diva!
Ok I never leave comments but I had to because these were everything 🙌🏼. This recipe was the perfect foundation to create a fantastic treat. I had these marshmallows on hand in the burnt caramel flavor so I picked up a bag of the original and mixed them together. I also subbed in the Maple Waffle flavor Magic Spoon cereal for extra protein. I didn’t have any vanilla protein so when at the store I grabbed the Ryse Jet-Puffed marshmallow flavor protein and I tell ya, *chef’s kiss*. Without this video, I wouldn’t have known that the Max Mallow marshmallows could melt down so well so THANK YOU!
Great idea😊
Finally got around to making these. My scale batteries died. Had a little trouble converting to cups etc but I somewhat figured it out. I also used the protein powder I had on hand. And I used regular marshmallows. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing right out of the pan. Delish
I love the fact that you put the warning in there for dogs ❤
Thank you so much for the recipe! For anyone who cant find or doesnt want to wait for Max Mallows you can use RYSE marshmellow whey and 4 servings Regular jet puffed marshmellows. Brought the macros into a similar range as the recipe (176 cals 1/9 serving). The taste was still excellent. The consistency wasn't quite as good, but if Walmart is sold out, it's a good alternative.
Damn dude you have been blowing up!! Glad to see you finally getting the attention you deserve.
Truly incredible!
Do you store them in the fridge or at room temp?
I have been making my R.K.T's protein style for years. The milk is not necessary, it just make them far less Krispy. Instead add an extra 5 marshmallows.
Love your and channel and I hope for you success
Just found your channel today. I'm smiling at the "what things are not the same" in your videos. Your Chicago gear, the HEB products, and your cute hairy dog in a warm shirt. Thumbs up from Houston.
Hats off for the Xylit disclaimer! This is the way!
😃 you just got a new subscriber ! Just what i need in my life right now
Two things:
1. My walmart was out of the regular marshmallows, but they had the 'burnt caramel' flavor. Same calories and price. Highly recommend these, they give the RKTs a really delicious, deeper, caramelly flavor.
2. Mine came out absolutely delicious and crispy the night I made them, but became really soggy and stodgy the next day. (kept them sealed in a plastic bag after fully cooling) Microwaving didn't alleviate this. Is this just sort of expected? The marshmallow flavor was the only difference in my preparation. I followed the recipe otherwise to a tee, down to the same exact brand and flavor of protein powder. They still taste delicious, but I don't get that crispy, chewy texture I expect with these treats.
Since this is such a quick recipe, in the future I might just shrink down the portion size and make it on demand when craving them.
These are so damn good!! Honestly I’ve never been a huge fan of rice krispy treats. I always found them to sickeningly sweet. These are definitely sweet don’t get me wrong but they don’t give me that sick my stomach feeling regular ones do. Between me, my grown kids & husband I’m gonna be making these a few times a week
I used RYSE marshmallow protein powder and it tasted amazing!!!🤯🤯🤯 It’s so dense, crispy, and delicious!!!!
My favourite gay RUclipsr

I'm watching this video and see a fellow Cubs fan in Texas! Great recipe!
For this channel I like the video before watching. Never regret it
Great idea!!!
Adding the vanilla after removing from the heat will help preserve the flavor!
Nice. I been making these over 30 years now. 👍🏼👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼😁
I subscribed once you mentioned the thing about dog feeding safety. That type of care >>>
Yo. If you can come up with a high protein stuffed bolillos recipe that would be an awesome snack as well
Have you tried substituting chocolate for the vanilla whey?
Making this immediately
Was obsessed with this recipe for the longest until I got tired of rice crispys. Swapped the cereal for honey nut cheerio minis and the cinnamon flavored max mallows and fell in love all over again!! This really is the easiest and tastiest protein bar recipe
This might be the best protein recipe ever 😮 I can’t wait to make this 🤭🤭🤭🤭💜💜💜
Wow great channel much appreciated, right now I only have one meal that I whip up that I absolutely love
3 chopped sweet potatoes
10 sweet peppers chopped
1/2 lb maple bacon chopped
1 lb ground bison
6 eggs
Cinnamon to taste and 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup if desired, best breakfast bowl you will ever have!
Subscribed! You're amazing man.
Welcome aboard! 🍦
Does casein really make them that inedible? My problem is late night snacking and I really wanted to make them with casein. Great video!
Great idea - for even more protein you can use keto milk krispies!
As soon as I recognized the voice, I knew the recipe was gon be lit af!
Browned butter & a tbsp of pb fit could make this next level.
Nice vid bro. Have you considered using the Ryse jet puffed protien powder? I saw that powder awhile back and totally though about trying to make Krispie treats.
Those would probably make great RKTs as well, as long as it tastes good!
@@Exercise4CheatMealsI don’t have regular vanilla but I have this! Gonna try them out here soon I just need those marshmellows
I've made these 4 times now. They are spectacular straight out & still warm! My only gripe, and maybe you can tell me what im doing wrong here. They go stale super fast. We can try them even 4 hours later and there is zero crisp to them. We have tried bagging them immediately, putting them in Tupperware, etc. What do you recommend?
What would be best vanilla protein powder for your recpies. Getting multiple powders is kinda expensive so was wondering about what one is best for a vast majority of them. Would be interested in trying this recipe.
good god you deserve a nobel prize for all these recipes
😂
I just made this and after I had my wife try it (she loved them also and is not on a diet) my exact words to her were “I fuckin love this guy” these will be a staple forsure. Thank you Nick!! 💪🏽
Amazing! Thank you for showing a treat like this, and one that doesn't use yogurt or cream cheese! (Unfortunately, I hate that stuff with a passion)
Oh god this feels like coming home .....
So glad I found a channel dedicated to making nutritious food that does not taste like ass.
I subbed because of your healthy pizza videos fyi
I wasn't expecting a small Sixers jab (1:30) in the middle of this amazing recipe video.
I recommend using Fruity Pebbles protein powder
This is absolutely amazing new subscriber and thanks for the information about not feeding the dog this lol 👍🏼 bless you happy new year 🥰🥰💋💋
It's interesting that whey worked better than casein for this. Usually, whey bakes down too firm, while casein maintains some fluffy less.
Just made these with gold standard vanilla protien powder.
Seamless transition to cook book ad, unreal
*shiver* that snap krakl and pop can make anyone tingle.
Was your RKT still Crispy the next day? I used the exact same steps, except I had fat free fairlofe, and mine are no longer crispy
This just compelled me to become your latest subscriber 👏
Gotta try this with fruity pebbles! 😆
No sugar marsh mellows are really easy to make your self if you want to save some money.
do you save it in the fridge or room temperature
Ryse protien has a jet puffed flavor that is perfect for this
I live in San Antonio and appreciate the HEB brand cereal
Update: made these again half of the mct marshmallows and half regular (as per Nick since my stomach got torn up with full mct marshmallows and ryse marshmallow flavor protein that already had mct in it). Also used bodytech marshmallow peep flavor protein. When adding the protein it seemed to have a thicker consistency than the ryse protein. Definitely tasted A LOT better than last time… the ryse protein tastes like dookie for how much you pay for it. Melted the butter too before putting in the milk. Tasted a lot better this go around but I do want to try ANOTHER protein, maybe will have to cave in and buy the gorilla mind vanilla for it to come out how it’s supposed to. A little bit more sweeter this time around too with a hint of saltiness towards the end
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS I DONT HAVE THE BUBBLE GUTS TOMORROW🤞🏽
My boy Rahul Kamat has a zero calorie marshmallow recipe that you might wanna check out if you want to save money and calories. It's literally just sweetener, water, and gelatin that you whip and chill, and you could just skip the chilling step and put it right into your RKT recipe.
Unfortunately they don’t melt/act the same as marshmallows when cooked at high temperatures. He does mention that in the video as well.
@@Exercise4CheatMeals Thanks for the followup. I wonder why the storebought zero calorie marshmallows work, just the different sweetener? It's probably worth experimenting with, I've never even seen zero calorie marshmallows at the store.
@@patrick4384 the store ones aren't zero calories they're 15 - not sure that makes a huge difference but just saying
Thats dope 💪🏾 I'm using Oak Milk
Do you think it would be good to use the RYSE jet puffed Marshmallow flavor for this recipe?
I try to cook, bake with few ingredients. The fewer the better. I would still eat the whole thing in a day! I'd get my protein in anyway!
I haven't tried making these with protein or the sugar free marshmallows. will definitely try this. I will say if you brown your butter before you add the milk you will get a more sophisticated flavour profile, a sort of more adult and complete flavour if you will. Pro tip as you would say lol
Agree! I’ve made regular RTKs with brown butter, and also a little extra salt, and they were so good.
Damn good recipie. Skepical about the Max Mallow but they worked great. Excited to try the Mint and Churro Max Mallows in the future to mix it up a bit.
Can I make these with a high fiber cereal option like Kellogg's All-Bran buds or Post Shredded Wheat?
Do you think I could double the protein or would that make it taste bad? Would it be better to double all ingredients (except the Krispy Rice and marshmallows)?
This guy is the KING of RUclips hole LOL. Anyway, recipe looks good, can't wait to try it :)
Are there any negative health effects of xylitol compared to regular sugar? Im very skeptical of the sugar alcohols and other artificial sweeteners. Also instead of greasing your hand to mash them down, just use parchment paper and it works perfectly as a nonstick barrier between your hands and the mallow
Going to make these with chocolate protein and chocolate rice cereal.
I made this with the cinnamon cereal flavored whey from MyProtein and this came out wayyy too good lol.
Stop lyin
Yeeees! I have this in the cupboard, can't wait to make these 🎉
nah bro use marshmallow cereal. it was insane
nah bro use marshmallow cereal. it was insane
I’m allergic to milk protein, AND I’m lactose intolerant, so any dairy based protein powder is a no for me. I wonder if these would work with a collagen protein? That’s what I usually use for smoothies.
If u add an extra scoop or two of whey and a little more milk, will it taste the same ?
You can also use wet hands instead of a spray
Use fruity pebbles cereal and Dymatize fruit pebble protein powder for a nice twist
not the most ideal macros but this is probably the best homemade protein snack ever
