If you're interested you can find some articles out there where he talks about his journey and encouraging other people's entrepreneurship
He sold it on Cars & Bids which recently sold this, and... This, and... This, and... This to make Doug and his parents even richer. Now they can co. sign everything for him 😂
I wonder when the video comes out where he explains why his video about his parents failed so hard he had to delete it. He'll blame something like we all just didn't listen to him and how we all just hate him now that he's successful then tries to tell us that he's not REALLY rich, that his Nantucket house is barely out of the lower third price range, and his San Diego house really isn't that opulent despite the recent remodel and how you know he's down to earth because his car lair is barely more than a warehouse, it's not like he pays a crew of attendants to fuss over all his cars, he just gets his Cars&Bids staffers to do that, like anybody would.

In aerospace engineering, it is quite normal to put cold metal parts in precisely fitting holes in a high temperature structure. When the temperature of the two parts equalizes, the fit is very tight so you don't need any other bonding such as glue or weld.

T.50 over this, any day of the week. The T.50 is built with driver enjoyment in mind - a true feast for the senses - a perfect car for weekend drives, for the lucky few who can get their hands on one (and even fewer who will actually drive it the way it was meant to be driven) - just a perfect blend of comfort and insanity. It also seems like a car that is still insanely rewarding and fun to drive while nowhere near it's (insanely high) limits. I don't really get the point of the Valkyrie other than just to show off ones wealth. Too much race car for the weekend drives, but not really enough for the race track (IMO there are far better and cheaper options to have fun with on a race track, especially if you have the kind of money to afford one of these.) Also to me the engine didn't sound that great in this video. May just be how it was miked, but all the T.50 test drives I watched sound soooo much better inside the car, despite both using a Cosworth NA V12.
@@jackclay3208I understand the Valkyrie as a track car. They shouldn't have built them as street legal. The GMA T.50 purpose was to be a very useable supercar... Even the smaller displacement engine (not electric assisted) and manual box suits street better.

@@larryc1616 of course Valkyrie.
The Aston Martin SUV trynna race in 25:19 😂
@@juliancaraballomedina3626 they were seen filming them with a gopro at one point, i think it's intentional and not racing
(they are also following them throughout the whole drive too)
Probably it's ron video team or aston martin team who deliver the car to ron team trying film some content for this car. If i were the dealership owners that deliver this car i would make as much content as possible lol
Did Doug ever finally get around to doing a drive in one of those? I know he did a partial review a couple years back, but it was a pre-production vehicle, so he wasn't able to drive it.
at one point a merc also tried an overtake
Camera car
Damn he’s got connections ! I mean serious friggin CONNECTIONS !! I guess if you have this good a reputation in the car community, you have access to a 40 year old civic hatchback back and a 5 million dollar super car, and everything in between - thanks to your fans and followers !
Doug: Not rich parents. Supercar Ron: TBD
he sold a furniture company
I think he was upper middle class originally but he made his real money by starting and growing an online furniture retailer before ultimately selling it. Rich parents don't just do that for you. If you're interested you can find some articles out there where he talks about his journey and encouraging other people's entrepreneurship
He sold it on Cars & Bids which recently sold this, and... This, and... This, and... This
to make Doug and his parents even richer.
I smell jealously!
Was actually on the edge of my seat between 26:00 - 29:00, truly a crazy driving experience
It’s so exhilarating just to watch him drive it, it must be totally insane to actually be in it.
@@RDM606 makes it even better that the camera was blurring and vibrating, makes it look that they were going warp speed.
Best driving video I've ever seen Doug do
No EV will ever ever be able to replicate that kind of sensation.
25:15 Looks like they are hauling and some car comes flying up next to them…. They were filming as well.
This is easily my favorite Doug video I’ve seen in a while. It’s a shame it probably won’t get many views due to the car’s niche appeal, but the part of the video where everything vibrates and the voices are muffled is absolutely amazing to watch. I’m really enjoying it!
I’d kill to drive this. The moment you just let it full throttle I fell absolutely in love with this car. Every sound it makes is music I need to drive one of these
Haven't seen a video in months since it seems it's almost all Evs and boring SUVs, but i had to click on this one as soon as the notification popped up!
Same here
Pininfarina Battista, Lotus Evija
Can"t wait for Doug to drive GM T50! That was a great episode
Or T50.S
Gotta be the best driving segments he’s ever done
Looks like the cockpit of a fighter bomber. Totally epic!
Thought it was strange that there was a random white toyota sequoia in the background at an Aston Martin dealer at 9:36 and then I remembered it's probably Doug's😂
Correct
$4.5mil!!??!! I picked one up last night for $4mil... on GT7, of course!
I have mine in Grid Legends fully upgraded. With my sim setup, it’s the closest I will get to driving one of these.
In aerospace engineering, it is quite normal to put cold metal parts in precisely fitting holes in a high temperature structure. When the temperature of the two parts equalizes, the fit is very tight so you don't need any other bonding such as glue or weld.
I spent about 6 years developing and manufacturing the exhausts on these cars. Great to see the finishwd product meeting the hype
Great video as always doug!
THIS car is insane, the in car footage is the cherry on top. Props to Supercar Ron for showcasing this unicorn. Epic review Doug
27:35 That Mercedes C43 (or 63s) trying to catch up the Valkyrie 😂
i LOVE that things like this are still being created. Hats off to Aston.
I obviously wasn't even in the car and I felt the energy from the Aston. Amazing!!! Doug was like a kid in a carndy store. And yes, I said carndy store.
31:03 Don't listen with your eyes closed.
Dude, the look on your face is priceless. That car had to be a blast to drive and go over it in-depth about its features. And I've noticed after watching you for so long you seem to have the same enthusiasm no matter what kind of car that you're covering in that video. But you really can tell when you're driving something that is really something special
Why would the fire suppression button not have a quick-flip cover?!?
So that someone will press it, then Aston Martin can collect a lot of $$$$$$$$ to clean it
I suppose it's far enough out of reach that you can't press it by mistake and if someday you do need that button then you have to be able to press it very quickly while under stress.
@monkeygalaxy6322 yeah because all companies are evil
"I'll just put the radio on"
AAAAAGGHH!!!
Too much weight😂
Woha. That’s cool. Respect.
The sound as it gained RPMs was like nothing I’ve ever heard - and it just keeps going.
Doug, the type of guy to review a 4+ million dollar car in a Target parking lot.
And dressed like hobo😂
He does usually have them in random places, but i'm pretty sure this is at an AM dealership
12:48 imagine driving to Target in your Subaru and seeing some dude checking the oil in his Valkyrie in the parking lot 😂
That's Doug the 11th wonder of the world
This might be one of the best Reviews yet. Never seen you really REALLY Push a car like that, let alone motion blur. Wicked Fly!
Doug, you now have a new bar set for your videos; "epic" is a word much over-used, but this video is truly epic! First car I've ever seen that uses video to show how loud it is!
Late start to Dougcember. I guess late’s better than never. Like you said, what an insane car
Customer: I want a racecar! 🤔
Aston Martin: YES! 🫡
Doug: thiiiisss
Aston Martin is killing it in every aspect the last decade
They're also killing Aston Martin

Except for being profitable as a sustainable business lmao
@@tokirak yea stroll going to have to figure something out, probably be sold to to VW group or something
More likely to be sold to some country in the Middle East like everyone else, cough cough McLaren
I watched this guy years ago for his quirky inthusiasm, and now he's at nearly 5m subs. Nicely done.
I can imagine how easily the chassis trim would get damaged from common road debris. I cannot imagine what it would cost to repair though.
@@Steelflight773 For the people that could afford repairs on this would be like us paying 40 dollars for an oil change lol. It's crazy how much money some people have.
Four-digit mileage will be considered high miles for these. Buyers don't intend to actually drive these.
Owner: oh my front camera isn't working
Aston: that will be $11,000.
Small price to pay for an experience that money almost can’t buy
When Doug and Ron are in the cockpit with the headphones on and everything, it literally looks like they’re piloting a fighter jet. 😮This is genuinely one of if not the most insane and cool and legendary car built of all time. I’d put this on par with the McLaren F1. Absolutely incredible!
Not even doug could afford to take that top off
I think the camera shake in the cockpit when you get on It says EVERYTHING
I'm so happy I put on my headset at the driving part. Nobody is gonna complain about the audio, that sound was orgasmic. WHAT. A. CAR.
Half those 10's the Valkyrie got were really 11's, it's just another level.

Props to doug for acually putting his foot down a bit. It sounds amazing and looks like an amazing experience. This has gotta be the new poster child car like the veyron was back in the day.
Every new Hypercar release makes me want the GMA T50 even more
Stunning Car
That thing is just a ruined F1. From the back it’s uglyyyyh that fan ruins every all lines he established.
Too much race car for the weekend drives, but not really enough for the race track (IMO there are far better and cheaper options to have fun with on a race track, especially if you have the kind of money to afford one of these.)
Also to me the engine didn't sound that great in this video.
@ but it’s ugly and looks are the most important when buying a hypercar.
