I love your videos. Been a vegetarian my whole life and vegan for the past 16 years and in the past few years got into the habit of eating trash. So I really love these quick-prep meals so I can reach for healthy pre-made food instead of fast crap from the supermarket. Thanks for doing this. Just as a side note, about 15 years ago when I was in peak condition I called a local gym (for one of those trending fitness groups that I shan't name). This is the best help what you can do. My life is so busy and i felt so overwhelming with the daily cooking. I will try this and hope i can also loose some weight. Thanks😊
So I went ahead and started the plan. I’m no vegan but I was thinking after reading a lot, and watching some sports documentary that I would give it a try. I’m a professional dancer and very active in fitness over all. Looking at all the macros and all the protein that was given, it seemed that it would work for my fitness lifestyle. The first day was good. Felt great! However, the next afternoon my stomach was hurting a bit. I let it go for another day, but it came back stronger. Almost to the point that I thought my appendix was exploring. Of course that was not the case. Talking to my family about and my doctor I decided to give up and come back to my normal eating. It took almost two weeks to get my stomach (my gut) back to a healthy normal feeling gut. While my gut was hurting I wasn’t really going to the restroom and I made sure I was drinking tons of water. But that didn’t help. I thought that it will be a good idea to post my experience since maybe this has happened to someone else. But again the meal prep is super easy to follow.
Thank you for giving it a try! I'm sorry you felt it didn't sit right with your stomach. If you're interested in trying again, I'll list some of our other meal prep videos below. 🌱😃💚 ruclips.net/video/YKexhe17gTE/видео.htmlsi=5VD_8XhFp9zioH3o ruclips.net/video/OYiiA9dgIEU/видео.htmlsi=1m5zJR7amE4DcoUn ruclips.net/video/AQxG258gOx8/видео.htmlsi=jQxlNYJkI7zxbL-c
This happens to most people at first because our bodies aren't used to this much fibre. Lentils and other legumes have to be slowly added to our diet (2-5Tbl) a day until our bowels are used to it. Especially if yr diet was a SAD, it is low in fibre. Meat has no fibre. I'm vegan now and I must admit, I was a walking gas tank for a few weeks. It took me about a month to get it right.
I was desperate today bc I haven’t figured a meal plan and apparently god or RUclips listened to my convo and here you are. THIS IS AMAZING PREP. ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 thanks so much for the macro breakdown! I’ve used your macro calculator and it’s really accurate
I love your videos when you show how easy it is to prepare several days worth of vegan foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thank you very much! The only issue I have is with the chickpea pasta. That banza brand has a very high amount of glycophosphates. Hopefully i can find another brand of high protein yummy pasta that's organic.
It's good but think most people don't want to get the same thing everyday. But if you make theses smaller and spread them out with other meals it's awsome .
Just found your Content -absolutely love it. One of the biggest struggles I have with meal prep is that it takes so darn long. Love having quick ideas like these for times when I don’t have time or energy to spend on prep
Okay, when you stated you now like cats because of Mr. Pumpkin, I subscribed! I just discovered your RUclips and love it. As a senior citizen, I have been diagnosed with celiac, and diabetes. I also have high cholesterol. To combat the diabetes and the ability to eat due to celiac, I began aating "mostly" vegan. I am now off all meds, lost about 20 lbs, and feel so good. I have always walked 30 minutes every day so that too continues. Now I have unfound energy, no brain fog, and my cholesterol is the lowest it has been in years. Thank you for your meal plans and watched the Tofu one which I will definitely try as I have only used Tofu for smoothies. The protein is the most important though. Thank you for your channel. I too eat GF oatmeal (Bob's Red Mill) almost every morning with added sugar free nut butters, blueberries, nuts and love it. Having said I eat vegan, I do eat salmon and tuna fish and occasional eggs but your channel may ultimately change that. Thank you! (and love Mr. Pumpkin...lol)
Jeepers, I just came across your video. What a great job you do. The food looks amazing. Your explanation of all nutrients is excellent. Thank you. Keep up the good work. I can see your channel growing. I plan to tell everyone to start watching your videos. 😊
Amazing video, I meal prep every three days or so, this way the food is fresher. I also recommend preparing different menus for each meal time. This way is easier to stay vegan and getting all the nutrients you need. Also you won’t fill the entire fridge with containers unless you live on your own.
@@TheVeganGym I've been doing it for years! It's so good! Especially when you start experimenting with different balsamic flavors (California Balsamic) and spices!
I tried the lentil salad. Omg it was really good. I came across this video as I was looking for meals to make this week. I loved everything about the salad. Lots of flavor in every bite especially with the olives. Thank you for being an inspiration.
Thanks for this amazing video! I just made 4 days of meal prep the same Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I can’t wait to see how everything tastes and last this week.
@@TheVeganGym Everything is soo good!I used Non-Fat Greek yogurt for the overnight oats because I’m not 100% vegan (yet), I just wanted a meatless healthier option for my meal prep this week, but I kept everything else the same! This was my first time eating tempeh, I was a bit skeptical because it has a peanut like smell, but the chili is bomb! I made my chili in a crockpot and added a bit more spices to mine! I also added jalapeño because I love heat! The salads are also super filling and great!10/10 meal prep! Thanks! 🔥
That's great to hear!! Please continue to use the channel as a resource. I would recommend the other meal prep videos to get an idea of some fantastic healthy vegan meals. 💚
Love that it is whole foods and doesn't have meat substitutes. Which i like, but i know they aren't the best thing for me so I'd like to cut back on them or even eliminate them except for maybe a treat now and then eventually. Also, need to get back to eating oats more. Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn recommends eating them at least everyday. 😊
This video was absolutely brilliant. So in depth and well explained. I like how you give all the weight categories. I prefer grams myself, so thank you . 🙌
What puzzles me is actually what the rule is about storing food in the fridge. Mostly it says 3-4 days max, so in that case how do you need to secure dishes to last up to a week.
Thank you so so much I've never seen such a simple to understand step by step vegan meal prep, I don't do well with peppers (my digestion gets upset) but I will definitely do more of the chicckpea pasta+ a kind of legume for my lunch! I loooooove legumes 🥰🥰🥰 thanks 🙏🏽🍉🥝🥑🍏🍎
Just want to say thank you! I have PCOS and low blood sugar that’s making me have panic attacks on and off and disruptive sleep and night sweats and I really think my diet plays a big role in the what I feel. Seriously considering plant base at least until I get my health under control.
I just got diagnosed last week and started on hormonal medication. I think there is something to the plant based lifestyle. I would say mindful movement is a good thing to help. I have some weight to lose so I need to go for a nutritious meal plan. We are in this together.
@@marley7659 definitely! I heard some women struggle to conceive with plant base diet though so it just sucks. I mean if you don’t really care about having kids then maybe it would be a fine fit but I really would like children so I don’t think I’d do plant base for too long just to get my weight under and slowly incorporate chicken and fish back into my diet. All I know is my blood sugar dropped to 46, 64, and 62 in the past few weeks and I think I was having this happen for months but had no glucose monitor so I had no idea but it was causing night sweats and panic attacks bad!

Thank you so much for your comment, vegan for 16 years is fantastic! 🙂
We don't yet have a cookbook written, but thank you for your suggestion!
This is the best help what you can do. My life is so busy and i felt so overwhelming with the daily cooking. I will try this and hope i can also loose some weight. Thanks😊
I'm glad you find these videos to be helpful 😊 I hope you love these meals!
PLEASE do more , I need more lunch ideas that are filling but easy and quick for work
We definitely will! 🙂
You can skip the salt n leave veggies together in one bowl as well
So I went ahead and started the plan.

Thank you so much for the kind words! 🌱🙂💚
I've been a vegetarian since I was in the single digits, but I still learned so much from this highly educational and well researched video!
Glad we could help! 😊
Thank you SO much for the easy prep instructions. Most importantly, the breakdown of nutrients in each ingredient. That was so helpful!!
Thank you for the kind words! So glad you found the video helpful. I try to keep things as easy and simple as possible to replicate!! 😃
It's good but think most people don't want to get the same thing everyday. But if you make theses smaller and spread them out with other meals it's awsome .
Thanks for the feedback! We've heard this a few times and hope to have a solution for those people coming down the content pipeline soon. 😃
Ty so much for breaking it down...with the proteins n iron.you did a great job.
Absolutely!! Glad you found the video so helpful. 😄
Just found your Content -absolutely love it. One of the biggest struggles I have with meal prep is that it takes so darn long. Love having quick ideas like these for times when I don’t have time or energy to spend on prep
Glad you love the content! We try to make our meal preps simple and quick! 🌱🙂
Finding great sources for plant based eating is difficult. But here is one of the best.
I'm glad we could help! 🙂
I woukd love to see more of this in a quick fashion... Perhaps offer both options.
This is meal prepping HEAVEN! Gotta do it this week, thanks for sharing! What a useful content, greeting from Chile.
Woohoo, awesome! I hope you enjoy the meals! 💪
Never thought about adding nutritional yeast to my popcorn, have to try it next time.
It's excellent! I hope you enjoy! 😄
Thank you for sharing your story! We're glad to have you!!
love it, most vegan recipes i find on yt is low calorie and protein so this is fantastic!
Glad you like it! 🙂
Thank you for sharing. Very helpful and great recipes.
Jeepers, I just came across your video. What a great job you do. The food looks amazing. Your explanation of all nutrients is excellent. Thank you. Keep up the good work. I can see your channel growing. I plan to tell everyone to start watching your videos. 😊
Thank you so much, Donna! I appreciate your support 💚
I love your videos, especially when recipe links are provided! I appreciate all you do, please keep the meal ideas coming. Thank you!! 🥰
Check out the other meal prep videos on our channel as well!
Amazing video, I meal prep every three days or so, this way the food is fresher. I also recommend preparing different menus for each meal time. This way is easier to stay vegan and getting all the nutrients you need. Also you won’t fill the entire fridge with containers unless you live on your own.
This is great. First vegan cook that mentions iodized salt. All the other cooks use sea salt, completely oblivious to the low iodine in our diet.
It's an important nutrient to consider! Thank you for watching and leaving an important comment :)
Yes, lately, I have been eating a sheet of Nori every day to make sure I get enough.
Could I use pumpkin seeds instead of sunflower seeds in the overnight oats?
Good question! Yes, that's definitely an option 🌱😃
Popcorn hack is to spray balsamic vinegar or another vinegar on the popcorn before adding seasoning so it sticks to the popcorn!
Oooh interesting!! Thanks for sharing this tip, I've never heard it before! 😃
That's amazing to hear!! Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks for this amazing video! I just made 4 days of meal prep the same Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I can’t wait to see how everything tastes and last this week.
Very nice!! Please let us know what you liked best and if you would have changed anything! 😊💚
Thanks! 🔥
Been a vegetarian now trying vegan and i found your channel quite helpful thx mate
That's great to hear!! Please continue to use the channel as a resource. I would recommend the other meal prep videos to get an idea of some fantastic healthy vegan meals. 💚
These videos are so helpful, thank you so much!!
Drizzle lemon on veggies and fresh fruit to keep fresh longer.
Thank you for the suggestion!
This video was absolutely brilliant. So in depth and well explained. I like how you give all the weight categories. I prefer grams myself, so thank you . 🙌
Glad you love the video! We try to be as precise and detailed as possible!
Finally, a full vegan meal prep with high protein thank you thank you!!
Yes!! We have more on our channel as well!
What puzzles me is actually what the rule is about storing food in the fridge. Mostly it says 3-4 days max, so in that case how do you need to secure dishes to last up to a week.
This is excellent. I will definitely give it a try.
This is a WONDERFUL video! Very easy recipes, explained very well. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! Glad you love the recipes so much! Which one looks the best to you? 😄🌱
It's incredible useful, but the only problem is...I don't have enough containers😅
woooow thank you SO MUCH for everything and the grocery list!!!! saved so much time!!
Glad you got so much out of it! 🙂
Glad you love the simplicity! 🌱🙂
Please make more of these videos.
We definitely will! 🙂
