    I’ve been making my own yogurt in my instant pot for the past 6 months or so and doing a similar recipe as yours. To keep it quick I add a tbsp of chia, 1/2 C yogurt, hefty dash of cinnamon, 5g creating, and 1/2-1 scoop of whey protein powder. Take my mini whisk and stir well. Then I top with banana, berries or mango and unsweetened coconut flakes and sometimes chopped almonds
    So yummy!
    So glad I saw your video on the homemade yogurt!

    I made this and it's so good! You don't need the vanilla ghee if you don't want to just saute your frozen blueberries and they will create a syrup on their own.

    It really makes a difference if I use a full fat greek yogurt or just a regular plain yogurt to make my chia pudding. The one one with the greek yogurt is much more satisfying and doesn't leave me craving more food shortly after. When I don't have a greek yogurt I sometimes add some whipping cream to the plain yogurt, this helps to satiate as well. 💪

    Excellent info. Love Greek yogurt and protein powder in the chia pudding, however I find 1 cup too thick making it more like yogurt pudding, so I only used 1/2 cup greek and put the liquid+yogurt
    +powder plus 2 tbsp collagen in a blender to ensure protein powder are blended in well to avoid chalkiness. Then pour over chia seeds and hand mix. It’s delicious with raspberries as well.

    You can use Kefir instead of yogurt and adding milk. Because Kefir has the perfect consistency, since it is not as thick as yogurt but thicker than milk. However, Kefir has superior probiotics, way better than any type of yogurt. Using kefir will be healthier and easier to make.

    @chasityfelix5054 2 года назад

    Dear autumn, first off I love your videos! I was following you then got depressed and fell off the wagon with lots of things 😔. I do have a concerning question..I have been eating chia seeds exactly the way you showed in a video of how to prep them and stuff...but I don't recall of how much is too much...so how much is too much?? Let me explain..I prep them, wait fod them to look like frog eggs (or for them to be activated in their gel like state) then go and prep them for which ever way I am having it. I use it mainly to help suppress my hunger and I will have to admit it's working. I do eat protein and veggies and healthy carbs but girl when I get hungry I mean girl...I get hungry! All in all I use the venti cups from Starbucks, fill them up with water then add the 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, wait for activation then I drink it. I drink 2 cups of this a day...so far today is day 3....should I stop?? Or cut back???

    • @AutumnBates
      @AutumnBates  2 года назад +1

      Hi Peggy! Absolutely, flax milk is a fairly equivalent swap. Regarding yogurt, as long as it is at least organic and unsweetened and preferably grass-fed, then any brand can work. I now make my own because this can cut down the cost SIGNIFICANTLY and it's extremely easy to make. I have a video on it here: ruclips.net/video/XTprzAIWXgg/видео.html
