      But he’s not giving a live commentary.. it’s a voice over the entire time. It’s a very purposeful pause because he isn’t doing any dialogue for a bit

    Hi GP. My granddaughter takes horseback riding lessons. I was down at the stable today and a woman pointed at me and said “ I watch the Hoof GP all the time”. I was wearing my cow hoodie. It was very nice knowing the stranger and I shared something unique. YOU! Thought I would tell you what happened.😅

    I spotted the problem as soon as you put her hoof in the air. I'm kind of proud of myself, I'm learning a lot from your videos (I'm a city kid, raised in Chicago, Illinois). To me, she seemed to be walking better after the trim.

    I've been scared of large farm animals since I was a kid. We moved to Cambridgeshire about 10 years ago (I'm 26 now) and there is a field with a whole bunch of cows and I could barely walk past them. Since I started watching you work about a year ago, I can now walk by them without a problem and make sure to say hello to ladies, and the kiddos when they're there too.

      did anything happen to you as a small child involving farm animals? ask your parents, even if you went to a petting zoo and wouldnt stop crying, its possible some animal hurt you and traumatized you

      @@aaronpeters774 Oh, definitely some trauma involved. I remember going to a farm with my Nan and I saw this huge black stallion kick a guy in the leg. The guy had been annoying it or something. The size of the animals and their eyes being really dark and not blinking a lot creeped me out too. So it's good I'm getting better and asking the ladies how their shoes are. :)

    I can't even imagine the amount of relief she must have felt. Poor girl. This'll be uncomfortable, obviously, until she heals, but glad she has people like you who know what they are doing and can get her on the road to recovery. Thank you for all you do!

    My 9 year old son got injured tonight, after assessing the injury and to distract him I said let's watch Hoof GP and he calmed down. We watch together all the time at home so it was comforting to him since we are camping.

    I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to be able to tell when a hoof is overgrown, which is wild because I haven't seen a cow up close since I was a child. Your videos always make my day, it is so nice to see how much care you give to the animals. The world needs more people like you!

    The state of this hoof was brutal. As uncomfortable as the trim must've been for her I hope releasing some of the pressure helped. I'd be interested in seeing updates on the healing process for this hoof.

    You continue to impress me Graeme. I grew up with horses and really enjoyed the day that the “ farrier” would visit & trim the hooves. Horses hooves were similar yet different. The center of the horse hooves was a soft area called the “frog” which is similar to the heel of a cows hoof. Watching you prepare the hooves is fascinating to me. The level of care you take is beautiful man. Keep going and maybe get brother Craig in the videos a little more. I love the way you two go back and forth. God Bess you two and your families. Keep safe

      Its really not "fun" to hurt them unintentionally, it makes you feel really bad since they arent volunteering for the procedure and you just want to help them.
      With that said, this cows immune system is an absolute monster. A human with that level of foot damage would become gangrenous in days.

    Don't ever be sorry for having to stop talking! The living being in your crush always comes first and I'm so glad that you feel this way! It's like when you're driving and whether you're talking or someone is talking to you and the concentration of driving is most important and you either stop talking or stop listening because keeping from an accident is more important than whatever might be being said

      Len dog, well worth the trip! Beautiful scenery and depending on how old your child is you can do white water rafting, hiking trails and explore Woodstock! There is also art colony nearby and if I am remembering correctly, glass blowing factory you can tour! Corning? Great area but I have not been there in 40 years! But I remember!     Graeme, I totally love your videos! When I see a cow's hoof that is heavily damaged, I am enthralled to see how you handle the care to get the cow on the road to better hoof health. It's like watching a mystery being solved. I have been subscribed to your channel for quite a while now and there is not a day that I find it boring or bland. Each cow seems to have different issues and you have the ability to make them better. When I see a large hole in a cow's hoof, I feel empathy for that poor cow having to walk on that painful hoof. It absolutely delights me when a cow walks away from the crush with a better gait. Keep doing what you're doing. You are the Hoof GP and I love your videos! ❤

    I’ve had an abscess before, and they effect your whole body. I can’t imagine how painful that one in her hoof had to have been. You can see her relief when she stepped out. Thanks for everything you do, and then sharing it with us🙏

      Luckily hooves don't have a great deal of blood supply, so the abscesses/infection mostly stays in the foot. Still awful, but not as sickening as soft tissue abscesses.

    I said out loud . . . "White line defect on the right hand digit and detached sole on the left hand digit"
    And I was right!
    Never been near a cow in my life but I've watched all your videos and would love to have a go.

    I'm 63 years old and live in Olathe, Kansas. I'm retired now, but I enjoyed spending all my summers at my grandparent's farm while I was growing up. But cows have always been my favorite!! Loyal watcher for over 3 years. Love your show.

    To be honest I enjoy the moments Mr. Parker is silent and we get to enjoy the sight and sound of hoof trimming. So if he needs to focus I don't think it hurts the video in fact he could always add commentary after in the editing.

    Thank you for this very informative, educational, and compassionate video showing the helping of an innocent animal. Good Samaritan is not strong enough. More like Good Orthopedic surgeon with compassion for suffering animals. Job Well Done Sir! Carry On!

    I am love it when you let everybody know that the cows always come first... And they do come first! I love cows when I was a kid I spent every vacation at my aunt and uncle's farm with all the cows and other animals ❤

    Having watched your channel for around a year now it still amazes me that I love watching it and am totally fascinated. Why would I be interested in cows feet?

    New viewer here-great channel! I must confess though, it’s difficult to watch some of the procedures. It hurts my heart to see such obviously painful foot problems. I’m glad that there are caring people in the hoof trimming world, that really want the best for these animals.🙏😎

    I love the way you love the animals. I used to be somewhat afraid of them, but because of your videos, I've fallen in love with them, and gained so much knowledge about what wonderful creatures they are. I never realized how bad their feet/hooves could get.
    I also love all the music you play, especially the beginning song.
    What's the deal with your hair ??
    Personal question...Do you ever get into your truck or get home to your family and start crying ? I know I would.

    My daughters always know when I am watching one of your videos. My face contorts, I hold my breath with every move of your blade, I pull faces and start grabbing at my own foot, lol! 😂😂😂 You are so good at your work. I feel relieved for this cow knowing she is in good hands. Poor little poopy face! She is still gorgeous!

    I have been watching you since the very beginning and I still am so interested and amazed at the problems you get and the manner in which you solve them!! I would have never thought that this type of content could keep my interest for so many years, and continue to keep me wanting more. Thanks for all the wonderful, exciting, interesting and instructional learning! I may be 68 but you never know when I may be asked to trim an injured cows hoof! I’ll be ready and capable, lol.     I knew a fair few car brands when I was way younger but had kids, got a life and got old but after years of watching the former UK show and laugh a minute TOP GEAR I got to start learning again. I better say McClaren as everyone else is!!!! It would have to be a Kiwi who it’s named after. What do u put or not put in the water over there???     I love the suspense of this episode! The lack of music and commentary kept me on the edge to know what was the problem! Loved the style of this video!

      Did you notice her udders were black too?
      I'm not sure why I noticed this time more than others, probably because I rewound several times to try and figure out which foot was hurting her!
      I'm going to try to notice more about the cows and NOT just their hooves!
