Yes, i think that's part of the pleasure of watching these videos. There is the satisfaction of a manual work well done, and the relief of a pain taken care off. ( not sure about my grammar )
I agree with that sentiment. One difference that I see, and wish I could understand, is that while Nate typically only trims heels when a white line issue has made it up to hollow out the heel bulb, the tec guys start with a knife carving the better part of the heel height away. So many of these vids, the cows leave the crush walking on their soles, because there is so much height removed from the heel that it doesnt touch the ground anymore. Which in turn puts more pressure on the sole. Again, I would just like to know why. Both channels are light years better than that old Happy Hoof guy with the tilt crush. That man would carve so much away that every video was a bloodbath. I guess with so much blood he got de-monetized by youtube. Compound that with the comments asking why he was butchering the cows' hooves, he just shut his channel down. Iirc, he would "model" with a grinder only, so all that was left to touch the ground was toe and hoof wall. It was hard to watch, let alone walk on.
@@ninagall7500 Wtf to that other guy!!! Geez those poor cows he trimmed 🥺 I do notice TEC talking a lot of the heel of as well! I wonder if it's just a different method or a way to strategically try and prevent certain issues from happening? 🤔 I like watching Graham too but not as much as TEC and Nate.

I thought I was the only one to get the Sunday night blues! But, I have your videos to look forward to while recuperating from a little arrhythmia. (The heart is gonna be just fine!) The I get happy again. Thanks Gareth and Tom for taking care of cows and thanks for taking us along! Good bye from Oklahoma!
Good job the cows aren’t colour blind . Poor Tom you need to get back to work as Gareth misses you lol . Well done Gareth and your helper Jeff / Geoff . Have a lovely weekend and don’t be to hard on Tom 👍👏🙌
Hi Gareth, you always know what to do to fix the cows. They always feel so much better. Tom, you are being missed. How about a day real soon, please. The fur babies need you. Much love to both. ❤❤ Take care and stay safe till next time.
Hey Tom, don't listen to Gareth. Enjoy your weekend.. take a few extra days to really recharge. Gareth will be fine. He loves his job so, more hooves for him, right? Of course, I just got home from my eighth straight workday with a weekend finally. I'm not in the mind-space to encourage a friend to work. Party it up, Tom!
I love Tom and I think he needs to take his time after a no doubt busy holiday dancing n partying and looks like Gareth has things under control, like you taught him. Great work Gareth, I really enjoy watching ur use of the knife and how clean those hooves become after a good trim. Nice Monday.
Sir Gareth, thank you for this satisfying start to our family's weekend! Don't leave it to chance...pick up two cups of coffee, pick up Sir Tom and take him out to your next trimming location! ☕️❤️🐄
I love your videos. That little cow had quite the sore foot but it was obvious the way she wandered around after her trim that she was feeling better. Good job on fixing her up. Love the 40 shades of green. That just describes Northern Ireland perfectly. I have never seen green colors like it. So beautiful. I think at Tom's age he deserves a break. Us older folks need the younger generation to give us a break now & then but looking forward to seeing him on the next video. Wednesday morning is at good start to the week!!
Hey Tom, we miss you where are you? You should be here with us. No come on back to work but your big boy pants on and pull through it. Lol great video I can tell right away that she is feeling so much better.
This had to be one of the neatest and most compact sole ulcers I've ever seen trimmed. Great job, Gareth. I used to get the Sunday night blues, but I'm retired now, so I'm permanently on holiday. 😂😂 I expect Tom may be getting to that point himself. 🤣 See you both next time. 😊❤👍
Congratulations on receiving 100.000 subscribers you gentleman are doing a great job. From one of your biggest fan up in Beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Canada. 👍😎
Just seen your video!! WOW I’m amazed!! You did a great job!! Perfect green mint color coordination!! Love the green but in USA the color Pink( for the gals) would be amazing!! lol lol..❤❤❤ Wanda USA
Nice one again Gareth and we really enjoy you're videos and what you're doing is pure awesomeness and very much needed treatment for the cows ,keep up with you're awesome work ❤️🙏🤞⭐
Come on Tom, time to get back to work, we need you, the cows need you, and so does Gareth😂great job on that little lady, thank you for posting, and take care.👍😂💙🐄
I like the way your sharp knives sound, better than when they’re scraping away with tiny chips on hard horn. But either way, i keep coming back, for listening to your and your dad’s minds working, and the unflagging affection and respect that you have for your patients. Yes, patients, because we all know that within your parameters of knowledge and expertise, you are a vital part of the healers in your community. You know and understand the anatomy and functional physiology of your specialty, you are comfortable leaving well-enough alone. But- and this is a big but- you don’t give a crap what anybody thinks if you cant find anything, but your radar is going off telling you to keep looking, that there’s something you’re not seeing. You know your limits and are very comfortable recommending a call to the vet. My dad was a vet, and I am a physician assistant (I dont know if you guys have an equivalent), and I understand that your job is part of a larger service profession- you serve those animals, and you know that it’s an honor. Rock on!!x
You did a great job on that girl, she walked out of that crush like a champ. Maybe that's why she was trying to get loose. She was feeling spry!! You did a great service for her. You are officially my new hoof trimmer that I watch!!!
That’s the first time I’ve actually seen the grinder wheel, that’s crazy. It’s like a giant forstner bit. I always thought it was just a standard cutoff wheel. Huh. Learn something new every day
These videos are addictive I love watching them . I’ve been wanting to ask you that when you say “ this little cow” from time to time if you really mean that it is little.. They all look really big to me!!! Just wondering
I do my man's nails (hands & feet) and I am a better nails trimmer since I discovered your channel (+ hoof gp & Nate). He has a mycosis on both feet and we chose not to use a classical therapy cos' the dr. said it can damage the liver. We use a mix of T tree & cinnamon essential oils in a little bottle mixed with another oil (food stuff as a support). It takes quite some time but it is getting nicer and I almost don't hurt him any more 😄
All those hoof chips and no doggo around... It was surprisingly small that issue, compared to the overgrowth. Had the big momma started to heal the area up or is that wishful thinking? I'm still sad that Tom's MOOVE in the intro was cut, it was such a fitting dissonance! Great video, take care and stay safe.
I just heard from a friend who recently visited Ireland from USA. She told me that Ireland has 40 shades of green. So cool to hear you say that!
I love watching these videos where I see a problem that is actually being resolved and taking pain away from these beautiful animals!

I have never owned any animals with hooves but I get a real satisfaction in watching your videos.
The best job in the world not many people can say that ❤love you guys!!
You guys and Nate the Hoof Guy are my favorite trimmers! It's so interesting to see people on opposite sides of the world do such a similar job.

I was just thinking the same thing. I have never done cows, only horses, but nothing is more satisfying than a sharp hoof knife.
A very good Sunday morning to you all from London
This may be one of the most satisfying trims I've ever seen.
Come on Tom! Get with it, lol Leaving all the work for poor Gareth, the poor boy needs a holiday, hahaha !
