I don't think you even know what your doing that cows hoof should have been trimmed a lot more all that loose horn should have been removed and she should have been treated with salicylic acid directly on that hoof and you didn't do any of that !!! Need a little more lessons from a good hoof trimmer !!!

Thought it would burst on its own. Nope. Eventually went to the hospital and they used anesthetics then lanced it. Oh the relief!!! I live in a big city, the only times I see cattle is heading north on Interstate 5. It is good to see what ranchers and farmers have to do to take care of the animals and crops. I appreciate the hard work and skill they have. Americas need to appreciate those who work with dignity, and sincerely try to do the best they can. It doesn't matter if it is a city trash collector, or executive in a big office. Appreciate what each contributes to the greater good of America, OUR country and the world.

I feel so sorry for these poor animals. I hurt my thumbnail once (hit it with a hammer because I'm a klutz), and over the next few days, my thumbnail became infected and the pain was indescribable. I lost sleep because of the throbbing. These poor cows have to stand on their "nails." I can't explain the immense relief I felt when my husband convinced me to make a little hole in the nail for the infection to drain. I nearly cried because it felt SO MUCH BETTER! I'm sure these animals feel incredible relief when their hooves drain, too.
