I've completed the game on veteran difficulty legitimately but have no problem using the glitch for this mission. It's ridiculous. How many enemies are packed into that first little section with the seats? 8? When are you supposed to reload in amongst all that? Sometimes you'll throw a flashbang and the enemies won't be affected. If they are affected by the flashbang sometimes they spring out of it as soon as you start firing to clear one side of the seats out to get through. What are your 'teammates' doing? Nothing. It's based completely on luck. If the enemy placements were more reasonable and consistent and you could perfect a strategy it wouldn't be too bad but they're not. What a bullshit mission.
I beat campaign on veteran too, this mission I made it to the end on veteran but the final guy with the hostage countdown is where I messed up.. so I came on here 😂 good enough
You pretty much have to use your pistol to shoot the 2 enemies that spawn in there, then haul ass to the row of seats closest to you and gun them all down as they walk in. If you do it right you can clear the whole first room without getting shot and without a reload
(PS5 Info!) I completed every other mission on Veteran but the Mile High Club mission was just absurd. I found this cheat and used it despite being on PS5 and having the quick and home menu being different. What I did for PS5 was instead of going to the quick menu to close the game, I held the PS button to go to the home menu and pressed Options on the game and closed it from there as quickly as possible. It works just as good since closing a game over the PS5s quick menu is a lot more complicated than the PS4s quick menu. Thank you so much for helping me get through this!! I completed all of the other missions on veteran, but I'm sure as hell gonna use the glitch for this mission. It's just annoying, 3 hours of shit hit detection, enemies not getting flashed when a flashbang goes off in front of their face, and shit AI teammates.
Totally, it was quite fun to play the main campaign on veteran, even though I died a shit load of times on Heat and, One Shot One Kill. Finding that little shack which protects you from all the grenades was good though.

So if you're on the Xbox One I tried this numerous times and failed to the point where I thought it wasn't possible, but here's the trick: Do everything in the video up until you get to the point where you start veteran, once you start the veteran difficulty and it starts to load hit the Xbox button and go to the home page because you can do that much faster than closing the game. Then once you're in the home menu / Xbox dashboard quit the game from there and then restart it, that's much faster and will make it work for you
Just done this, still works. Personally I'd recommend playing the whole game on Veteran if you can, it's not too difficult apart from this mission which is just silly.

All the glitches still work. Activision never gave Raven the money to “fix the game” just “Remaster the game”. Did the same thing in other classic remasters.
Ishy They’ve known about it since the first game. Including all the glitches for getting 4 seconds on the first level in the ship training. Activision only cares about making money through Multiplayer BS Loot Boxes. They couldn’t give a fuck about single player.
It's 2023 and I decided to go back and platinum this game. I finished the whole campaign legitely on veteran and while it was annoying, especially the mission "Heat", it was manageable. But this mission here is one of the rare times when I stopped caring after trying for so long that I glitched it. At the end of the day, it's my game and my trophy list so I will decide how I go about things. One trophy is not worth hours of frustration. I can be enjoying my time elsewhere in that time.
Well said. I "beat" this mission only once. As soon as the pic with task force 141 popped up at the end I tried to take a screenshot and the game bugged out and didn't recognize me beating it. Played for another 1 or so and got nowhere close to beating it again. I loved this game since a kid so I'm going to keep trying to beat it legitimately but I completely understand and agree with you.

For anyone still struggling to get it work (I had issues on Xbox one x) - USE THE POWER BUTTON ON YOUR CONSOLE. Using the home button on your screen then clicking home never seemed fast enough, but by pressing the power button on the console the millisecond that I select veteran, then turning it back on and closing the game, worked for me the first time I tried after failing multiple times the normal way :) hope this helps 😁

And starting from whenever you have to survive the attack by the Russians with McMillan until the end it was ridiculously hard. I felt like playing dark souls. Especially the mission with McMillan at the end and whenever you fight your way through the tunnel. It was obnoxiously hard and totally unnecessary. Very unbalanced those missions. For everyone who’s still do this. I can confirm doing it on ps5 and version 1.15 it still works. Thank you again because I was already done with playing it over and over again for several hours

I got all achievments on 360 and beat the game on Veteran with 2 different profiles. I got all achievments again on Xbox One I don't care, this is my favorite Call of Duty!
Never again this mission.. it took me 3 to 4 hours i spat bloood to win this .. and in the end its all about luck. The ai decides to kill you when it feels like there no strategy
August 2023 still works xbox series x- use the power button on your console instead of quiting the application. when booting back up force quit application and then load in, glitch will work.
If you have Xbox Series X and digital version of the game, this is how to do it: - play the mission on recruit - at the end kill the hostage (yes, hostage) to make sure that checkpoint is working as it should - once the checkpoint restarted just save and quit - get back to campaigne main manu (this is important! just hit back to main manu) - start the mission on veteran - and as soon as loading screen pops, press and hold console power button for a while to make sure that is turned off - reboot the console and load the game from last checkpoint - finish the mission
Andrew Horton any tips? Playing on Xbox one x and it takes a few button presses to get out of the game to restart, always seems to be too long because it restarts the mission. Does the X load to fast or do I need to keep trying?
I think it’s fair to cheat on this mission in particular, if you’ve been killed a numerous amount of times near the end from flashbangs not working and the AI not doing shit to kill enemies until right after your dead from a bit behind and in range of the friendly AI. If people want to cheat and keep their sanity then let them. The fact that it’s 1 minute is the part where it makes the mission bullshit maybe at least 5-10 seconds more would be decent. It’s the part where it forces you to rely on luck based scenarios. Something I’m not a fan of. A majority of this game is fairly easy on veteran if you know what you’re doing and sort of take your time. Staying crouched and running in the right areas does help too. Having a 6 sensitivity is helpful I found. Using at least 3-4 bullets on each enemy at the start is what you want to aim for. I lightly tap which makes it simple and effective. Also try to pickup weapons when you can instead of reloading of you want to push ahead. I mean I’m going to try and do it on veteran, but that’s only because of my pride 😂 just wish the game was more fairly challenging than frustratingly challenging. Also some levels you just have to accept that you’ll die often and let it be a learning process, makes playing less infuriating when you know what to expect.
Couldn't of said it better myself. I used this glitch cuz when I entered the slow motion part I fell over dead for no reason. All those times I tried over, and over, and over again... and for what? For it to take me out cheaply. There were literally no one that could of killed me at that point. I did everything like I was supossed to. Just to die for no reason. I figured if they get a kick out of seeing people rage over their cheap bs that they try to justify as a "challenge," maybe they would like the same cheapness bestowed upon them.

I managed to beat it legit on Veteran, but because I took a screen shot of that photo of the boys at the end, it bugged out and I didn’t get the achievement. Knowing that I beat it fair and square, I decided to resort to this instead. It worked. Thank you very much for this, for I’m an achievement hunter and this mission was the bane of my existence.

HOLY CRAP!!! I didn't mind doing the Campaign on Vet, but tried mile high for 30 min and then saw your guide, got it first try on PS5. Much better then your best of the best video, which took me hours. Finally got 14.9 with the pistol.
Ppl still need to run the cargo course for 15s. That may be easy and hard but atleast they work for something. Missions are ok..hard sometimes and yes mile mission is stupid ”throw controller” hard
Still works on PS5. If you are having trouble setting up the “close game” option quickly using the PS5 interface, click on veteran using the controller with one hand, and immediately eject the disc manually using the other hand. Worked for me like a charm.

For anyone playing this on PS5 hold the PSN button and quickly press start and slam X to close the game. It’s a bit tight in the timing but it does work on PS5 as well as PS4. (Hopefully this gets pinned or something so everyone can see it since I did this all the hard way not knowing it worked on ps5)

Wow, thank you so much mate. I completed the majority of the campaign on veteran back in 2017, and had this, along with NFITWR and One Shot, One Kill left. This made it so much easier, I am now done with the campaign on veteran. Probably saved me a lot of raging, I remember how many times I tried this one all those years ago. 😂
Still works, 23rd April. If you want to do this on the pc, you should do pretty much the same as shown in the video although I'd recommend using the task manager to close the game. Good Luck!
To know people out there cheated to get the trophy. Lol whatever tho, I never got it and I'm sure it's like a badge of honor when you browse your achievements or trophy list and it's there, to think back to it is all that matters.
@@lian4584 i can confirm that it works on every mission on MWR, MW2R, Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and Black ops 3. I beat all of them using this method fairly recently. It might work on other CoDs too since it worked on these ones

I completed the mission legitimately and screen recorded it and then the game just paused and there was a black screen so I saved and quit and the game didn't count all those 6 hours of rage so I did the glitch cuz I couldn't do all that again, thank you bro 🙏

@simaocarreira3262 I did this a while ago but I think the way to do it is start it on recruit, do the mission until you get to the checkpoint where the last door is and shoot the guy then when it says objective complete, save and quit and force close the game. Open it back up, go to the mission and select veteran and choose "resume game" it should put you at the door again where you shoot the guy but this time at veteran and then just finish the level.
I can confirm this still works 31st July 2020. My PS4 hard drive broke last week with all my game saves, so I had to speed run the campaign, and this video helped me get platinum! Thanks a lot ❤️
I wanted to do this legit so much but I just can't keep trying anymore. I died to the very last guy like 3 times with enough time to finish the mission, and I would've had I not run out of ammo every time. I'm sick of cod veteran campaigns going from challenging but rewarding to just straight up BS
Was about to give up hope on trying and just succumb to the glitch... BUT NO, I FINALLY BEAT IT! Some tips for anyone trying to beat it legit: Don't be afraid to take it a little bit slower. Pre-aim everything, as the AI is actually less likely to shoot you when you are aiming down sights. Use the P90 and don't spray and pray, do very short burst fires so you don't have to spend time reloading. Be very patient up until you get to the part with the narrow hallway right towards the end, then flash that, sprint through, hipfire shoot, knife the last guy, and BAM, the achievement is yours. And man, the feeling of beating it legit is like no other, I was so happy to beat it after the insane struggle.

Just incase anybody is wondering, this does still work on PC as of 26th april 2024. I put the game in full screen windowed and I had task manager open on my second monitor with the game already selected, as soon as the level starts to load quickly press end task. I am so happy this glitch exists!

I got all achievments on 360 and beat the game on Veteran with 2 different profiles. I got all achievments again on Xbox One I don't care, this is my favorite Call of Duty!
After doing all these legitimately years ago (which I have no ideas how in did that and didnt RIP my hair out) I deserve this glitch.
Never again this mission.. it took me 3 to 4 hours i spat bloood to win this .. and in the end its all about luck. The ai decides to kill you when it feels like there no strategy
And flashbangs work 50/50

@@TSMiller97 excactly sometimes the ai wont be affected if you are too fast in its spawn... but if you arent fast its already too late
August 2023 still works xbox series x- use the power button on your console instead of quiting the application. when booting back up force quit application and then load in, glitch will work.

If you have Xbox Series X and digital version of the game, this is how to do it:
- play the mission on recruit
- at the end kill the hostage (yes, hostage) to make sure that checkpoint is working as it should
- once the checkpoint restarted just save and quit
- get back to campaigne main manu (this is important! just hit back to main manu)
- start the mission on veteran
- and as soon as loading screen pops, press and hold console power button for a while to make sure that is turned off
- reboot the console and load the game from last checkpoint
- finish the mission

Andrew Horton any tips? Playing on Xbox one x and it takes a few button presses to get out of the game to restart, always seems to be too long because it restarts the mission. Does the X load to fast or do I need to keep trying?

I think it’s fair to cheat on this mission in particular, if you’ve been killed a numerous amount of times near the end from flashbangs not working and the AI not doing shit to kill enemies until right after your dead from a bit behind and in range of the friendly AI. If people want to cheat and keep their sanity then let them.
The fact that it’s 1 minute is the part where it makes the mission bullshit maybe at least 5-10 seconds more would be decent. It’s the part where it forces you to rely on luck based scenarios. Something I’m not a fan of. A majority of this game is fairly easy on veteran if you know what you’re doing and sort of take your time.
Staying crouched and running in the right areas does help too. Having a 6 sensitivity is helpful I found. Using at least 3-4 bullets on each enemy at the start is what you want to aim for. I lightly tap which makes it simple and effective. Also try to pickup weapons when you can instead of reloading of you want to push ahead. I mean I’m going to try and do it on veteran, but that’s only because of my pride 😂 just wish the game was more fairly challenging than frustratingly challenging.
Also some levels you just have to accept that you’ll die often and let it be a learning process, makes playing less infuriating when you know what to expect.

Couldn't of said it better myself. I used this glitch cuz when I entered the slow motion part I fell over dead for no reason. All those times I tried over, and over, and over again... and for what? For it to take me out cheaply. There were literally no one that could of killed me at that point.
I did everything like I was supossed to. Just to die for no reason. I figured if they get a kick out of seeing people rage over their cheap bs that they try to justify as a "challenge," maybe they would like the same cheapness bestowed upon them.

I managed to beat it legit on Veteran, but because I took a screen shot of that photo of the boys at the end, it bugged out and I didn’t get the achievement. Knowing that I beat it fair and square, I decided to resort to this instead. It worked. Thank you very much for this, for I’m an achievement hunter and this mission was the bane of my existence.

HOLY CRAP!!! I didn't mind doing the Campaign on Vet, but tried mile high for 30 min and then saw your guide, got it first try on PS5. Much better then your best of the best video, which took me hours. Finally got 14.9 with the pistol.

Still works on PS5. If you are having trouble setting up the “close game” option quickly using the PS5 interface, click on veteran using the controller with one hand, and immediately eject the disc manually using the other hand. Worked for me like a charm.

I literally screamed my face off because this level made no sense with me flashing these dudes and constantly reloading before every section of the plane. And then I found this video today and it got me the platinum trophy. Thank you so much for finding this out
I spent 8 hours accumulated time trying to get mile high club to platinum the game. My blood pressure got too high and I was getting bad migraines. Idc if anyone says I didn't do it legitimately but I just don't have the natural ability or the patience to do it. I used the glitch so my inner completionist could be satisfied and I didn't end up being bedridden for days. I did everything else legit and I'm proud I did. But this mission can just do one.
If you did this without using this glitch, I applaud you and really wish I had your ability and luck. I just hope you don't blame me for taking the easy way out after dying, what must have been, over 600 times, and choosing my health over the satisfaction of beating mile high on veteran.
At the end of the day, it's just not worth getting sick over

STILL WORKS, if ur on xbox wait until the loading bar gets close to half then unplug ur console (may not work on first try)
and complet the mission fully on easy mode first before trying the skip
For anyone playing this on PS5 hold the PSN button and quickly press start and slam X to close the game. It’s a bit tight in the timing but it does work on PS5 as well as PS4. (Hopefully this gets pinned or something so everyone can see it since I did this all the hard way not knowing it worked on ps5)

Wow, thank you so much mate. I completed the majority of the campaign on veteran back in 2017, and had this, along with NFITWR and One Shot, One Kill left. This made it so much easier, I am now done with the campaign on veteran. Probably saved me a lot of raging, I remember how many times I tried this one all those years ago. 😂

Still works, 23rd April. If you want to do this on the pc, you should do pretty much the same as shown in the video although I'd recommend using the task manager to close the game. Good Luck!

@simaocarreira3262 I did this a while ago but I think the way to do it is start it on recruit, do the mission until you get to the checkpoint where the last door is and shoot the guy then when it says objective complete, save and quit and force close the game. Open it back up, go to the mission and select veteran and choose "resume game" it should put you at the door again where you shoot the guy but this time at veteran and then just finish the level.

Was about to give up hope on trying and just succumb to the glitch... BUT NO, I FINALLY BEAT IT! Some tips for anyone trying to beat it legit:
Don't be afraid to take it a little bit slower. Pre-aim everything, as the AI is actually less likely to shoot you when you are aiming down sights. Use the P90 and don't spray and pray, do very short burst fires so you don't have to spend time reloading. Be very patient up until you get to the part with the narrow hallway right towards the end, then flash that, sprint through, hipfire shoot, knife the last guy, and BAM, the achievement is yours.
And man, the feeling of beating it legit is like no other, I was so happy to beat it after the insane struggle.
Why even earn it if u are just gonna cheat , this is why i dont care about trophy / achievements anymore
What about some people who don't have time to get trophies and they want it. It's not anyone's fault but the developers that this is in the game.

Just incase anybody is wondering, this does still work on PC as of 26th april 2024. I put the game in full screen windowed and I had task manager open on my second monitor with the game already selected, as soon as the level starts to load quickly press end task. I am so happy this glitch exists!
