Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2009) is one of my favourite games of all time... but is that purely nostalgia or does it live up to my expectations?
In this video we are getting the MW2 OG Platinum Trophy on the PS3 where we need to complete the veteran campaign aswell as get 3 stars in every Spec Ops mission SOLO, to help decide if it stays in my top 5 games of all time

Stumbled across your channel a couple of weeks ago whilst playing through the GTA Definitive Collection to see if anybody was having as bad a time as me. Now watched every video and can't wait for more!
OK so to repeat my previous comment from last time.
What happened at 27:25 was a downed enemy sitting near a corner was fiddling with a grenade and he eventually bled out and dropped a live one.

Great memories from doing this back in the day. The spec ops mission were super fun, especially the coop missions and Echo Ops with the juggernauts.
I remember being really excited to get the plat because the icon was a picture of Ghost being shot and it had the orange and yellow theme to it.
Just to let you know Joelemz I like your videos of you trying to platinum the games you play. I did get all the achievements done for the Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360 which was a pain to do since I had to do the bastard of hell Spec ops. It's one of the rare times I needed my little brother to help me but we managed to beat it together. Also the last Spec Ops mission was so easy for us since we just used the 50 cal. sniper rifle to take out the Jugs. My least favorite mission is the one where you have to kill 10 Jug with explosives which kicked me and my brothers ass the most, but we managed to beat with a bit of trial and error. One of the best games for the Cod trilogy until it started to go bad. Been watching you since the GTA 3 platinum video and been watching you since you had under 50,000 subs. Keep up the good work.

I'm proud to say that I have MW2's Platnium Trophy. The last trophy I had to get was to recieve all of the stars on Special Ops. Echo Missions were hard asf but I got it done 💯 Glad to see you grind and get this trophy bro

The Favela juggernaut mission we used the blocking the doorway method. You or your teammate stay in the revive crawl position at a doorway to block their entry. Best COD, with Hans Zimmer addition. I really enjoyed the achievement hunting here.

Just wanna say I've been watching your videos for awhile now and it made me want to platinum (or the Xbox version of platinuming) some of my games. It seems like such a fun challenge.
Id pay obscene amounts of money to travel back to 2009 and replay this campaign and the multiplayer for the first time again. Such a staple of my gaming youth ❤️

For the Second Echo Mission: I just lay down on the pick up trucks loading area at the spawn. The juggernauts wont push you and you can just throw C4 above the trucks loading area to kill them. Its just a little bit tricky to refill your ammo.

love mw2, it's also my favorite cod of all times. I got the platinum a few years ago and I didn't know the Thumper one-shot in the juggernaut's head. This was way more difficult the way I've done it, I remember trying over and over for hours.
I also have the MW2 Remastered platinum, but this one is very easy since it's basically "complete the campaign on Veteran".
It was a week before Black Ops 1 came out. My buddy and I were absolutely wrecked out of our minds at a LAN party with some of other friends. We'd been both working on getting those Spec Ops missions done. Our other four friends took a break to watch what we were doing when we finally went for it on Armor Piercing. When we finally dropped that last Juggernaut on the oil rig, and the mission completed. And that double trophy popped Star 69 and platinum. The entire house came unglued. We were so fucking happy that night we partied our asses off the rest of the evening until we crashed.
Some of the best times of our lives back then.
I liked the music when you go back for ‘’Ghost’’ trophy. Time Splitters was a good game.

This was my very first platinum trophy ever as a gamer. The level of gaming pride I felt after spending days on those spec opps missions is unmatched until today. What a game!
This was my most favorite and loved game I ever had and I’m still trying to do the Spec-Ops achievements but most people are scared of Veteran and I am as well.
The TS2 Siberia music was a nice touch, brought back lots of nostalgia

Me and my brother loved this game so much we did the High Explosive with only knives. Not as hard as you think, their turn speed is slower than your straff speed so just straff and knife. Only challenge is keeping them separated.
