Back in the day the veteran trophies would only pop after completing the levels TWICE.
So yeah, two full vet playthroughs were needed.
I remember finding that out the hard way back in the day, thinking that they would all appear after I beat the campaign once on veteran (I was naïve)
Wdym? Pretty sure I got all the veteran trophies on my first playthrough

The campaign when going into the pentagon along with the zombies map five… oh man the memories in this game with my mates… hundreds and thousands of hours in its prime…

I 100% cod 4, mw2, bo1, bo2, and almost had waw on my first Xbox account but it got permanently banned and boy does that hurt. I remember the veteran grinds and the absolute incredible feeling you got when getting them done.

The amount of nostalgia i got from this video. Back when fully finished games were meant to entertain you rather then milk you. I remember playing the 2D minigame for hours on end with my best friend. I miss these times.
I actually recently completed bo1 on veteran and that numbers mission when you play as Hudson was definitely the hardest mission so it made me feel good watching you struggle with it too

23:58 MW2 and 3 don’t have any multiplayer trophies so that would only be a fun event you could organize with Twitch chat. Though, they do have 2 Spec Ops missions each that require 2 players.
One of them, I did with my older brother when he wasn’t married yet and the other 3, I did all alone using 2 controllers because my little sister was always « busy » even on weekends and I got impatient.
Anyway, a lot of those Spec Ops missions on Veteran really got on my nerves. More so, MW2.
The campaign is also harder in MW2 compared to 3 but it’s not nearly as hard as COD 4 and WAW (don’t know about BO1 since I haven’t done it on Veteran yet but it also seems harder than MW2). I myself replayed the whole campaign on Veteran on the remaster recently (last time I did was in 2019 right after I got COD 4’s platinum trophy and bought back a PS3) to get the platinum trophy on this version too and only Act 3 had a couple painful missions for me (yes, I didn’t hate "Takedown" on Veteran this time around, it was difficult but not rage inducing personally).
Btw, the remaster has some additional trophies for the campaign that result to the same number of trophies as the original game. But those additional trophies aren’t nearly as hard as the Spec Ops ones.
Mw2 has a timed trophy and it’s insanely hard I think it’s the training one where u run and gun target practice and I got the platinum trophy but it was a b* to get it
@@marcusbrown188 If you’re talking about the trophy that asks us to beat BX time (which is 19,7 seconds). It is pretty difficult, yes (took me an hour) and it’s one of the additional trophies from the remaster. But that trophy still doesn’t compare to how painful the Spec Ops missions on Veteran can be.
@@speedox1.0 omg!!! No u did not mentioned the spec ops missions 😅 back then I had a partner that helped me do the one where you have to fight a hundred juggernauts and what we did was I was a “door” as in in the way do that they can’t enter a building and my partner dies all the killing

Cod black ops 1 was released when I was in middle school. I always thought the weapons sounded high pitch but I really liked the background music and had the best zombie maps
