Carrier was dope. Good balance of long range and close quarters. Hell BO2 was just a top shelf CoD game, the MP maps were almost all fantastc. BO3 was also a total goldmine for good maps.
@@TheGreatJon I totally agree with BO3 too, that game was the CoD I’ve sunk the most hours into and there were so many good maps on that game like Combine, Stronghold, Hunted, Fringe, etc.

Unlike other games which recycle locations from the campaign and add them into MP in the most bland way possible, these devs’ managed to cut parts and repurpose them in a fantastic way, to tweak something so well when its original intent was entirely different is a great display of competency and understanding of how the gameplay works. I personally always loved Kowloon, the aesthetic is amazing and very fitting for the game, the verticality is very fun, the zipline is gimmicky enough to feel fun but logical enough to make it work in the setting, the airplane flying so close to you was badass, etc.
The only game in CoD that re-used campaign levels for multiplayer was CoD 4 and even then it was only a couple of them. Every multiplayer has maps built for multiplayer. You have to have that for proper flow and balance.
Nuketown really is a balanced map. Lotta open sightlines, close corners, and symmetrical designs. Better than Shipment, which is too easy to spawn kill, or Rust, which can be too campy.
