As soon as i heard "Connor" helped with the eagle cam, i instantly thought of the guy from Alveus sanctuary, and lo and behold. Love both these channels
The live feed of Eagles Nest would be epic; it is a great way to chill and watch nature. That was a great job constructing the nest, it never hurts to have expert advice.
@Bamabass - the brownish bird with the weird markings was a female American Kestrel. Both them and the blue birds are cavity nesters and need a fully enclosed nest box to set up shop. Each of them will require a different size nest box. If you build a kestrel nest box you have a very high chance that some will move in, and you would be amazed at how charming they are. The eagles are not going to begin nesting activities until Late Jan or early Feb at the very earliest.
I'm even tempted to go sit in that lovely nest. Well done!!! Thank you for your upload. God bless to you and your family. You made my day, and have brought a smile to my below par day.
Amazing to see a crossover of two content creators I really appreciate :) Connor does such amazing things in his role at Alveus Sanctuary. Congrats on the nesting!
Connor (the eagle expert) works for a really cool animal sanctuary called Alveus Sanctuary that does really cool online animal conservation work and has 24/7 livecams of a bunch of animals. I would definitely recommend checking them out especially if you like the live animal cams idea.
I thought we had a war to get rid of kings in America. You want our national bird to nest in kings landing? Might as well name it Charleston after the current monarch
Belted Kingfishers are burrowers. They makes nest in earth banks or cliffs. The little bird that went into the squirrel house was a red-breasted Nuthatch.

One issue is that owls, osprey and bald eagles will attack each others nests and feed on the young. Natural reaction to other birds nesting in each other's territory. They don't nest at the same times but do remain in the areas of their nests. Osprey do migrate in some locations. First year, you'll probably get osprey in your eagle roost. However, if they feel comfortable with having so much line- of-sight around them, eagles may decide to try it. They will, however, totally rearrange and remake the nest. Eagles generally nest in a huge evergreen tree on the edge of an opening and make their nests of sticks and branches. Any soft stuff is a little on the very bottom with feathers pulled from the chest. Good luck.
