Ghost requires you to plant the C4 in Cliffhanger without alerting anyone or injuring an enemy. The Real Gun Game trophy requires you to complete any mission without reloading or using melee. Cliffhanger is ideal because you can complete this entire mission without taking a single shot. Don't shoot anyone on the snowmobile.

Quick Tip. Don’t kill the 4 hostiles at the start. You’ll get some back talk from the Captain but you’ll be fine.

No you're allowed to kill those enemies. The trophy for this mission begins once the storm picks up. If Soap says "No kills no alerts. Impressive Roach." You should get the trophy
KillerGames Yeah I just let MacTavish kill them as an extra layer of protection to keep myself from reloading. I’ve got a bad habit of reloading and not realizing it.

@the hash slinging slasher IW never tied achievements/progression to No Russian. Some playtesters refused to play the level which made IW add a skip option and make the level not count for overall completion.

Ok, so this trophy is definitively glitched to me. After trying 20 times on cliffhanger and second sun not a single time shooting, no grenades and melees on every run, i give up. I hope they fix this.

Marco Carretero i did after a lot of trying i finally did it. I did on no russian and just stay there killing a few enemies without swapping weapons.
The key is on swapping weapons and not reloading the gun.

I got mine on Team Player mission. When I was low on ammo I just pick up another gun off an enemy. Trophy popped straight away when you get to general shepherd at end of the mission.
Lots of nostalgia cause I rented this from blockbuster lol beat it within the week I had it on veteran. Felt pretty good
After 3 attempts, I quit trying for the "Real Gun Game" trophy on this mission and "No Russian" gave it to me first try. I played cliffhanger and only killed 2 enemies (2 of the first 4 you split with your ally) and didn't fire, melee or reload at all after that. My primary even had the 2 shots missing before I got on the snowmobile. And I didn't fire the g18 on board the snowmobile since I couldn't tell the ammo count and didn't wanna automatically reload them while on board.
You could also get this trophy in "The Enemy of My Enemy" I done it on recruit without dying or firing a single shot

You guys are probably killing the 2 man patrol at the beggining of the mission with Soap. If you don’t shoot there, Soap will kill them for you.

PS4Trophies Hoping it doesn’t make us play through the entire campaign in one sitting without dying. Hopefully it’s one mission at a time that we can restart whenever. I can’t see them being that harsh on us
Jensen Brown I’m hoping for the same thing, and it would definitely make more sense for them to not go THAT crazy on us for the requirements.... but..... it’s campaign only and was dropped “unannounced” with pure finesse just for fan boys and nerds like us.... wouldn’t an achievement like this be one of the only ways they could throw a bone to the hardcore cod fans? Like I wouldn’t be surprised if you DID have to do it all in one sitting. The ssdd achievement was a joke, I got sub-15 seconds in less than an hour, and I beat the campaign on veteran in a single play through yesterday which didn’t take me too long at all... in about an hour I’m essentially going to be 100% done with something I spent $20 on during this crisis lmao (albeit definitely worth it and I’m having a wonderful time). That being said, I’d actually kinda like the idea of there being some ridiculously hard/time-consuming/controller breaking level of frustration (read: re-playability)

You can go through Mission select and complete it in an order you want
I got the trophy, when you die in a mission you have to restart it. You don't have to play it in a row. I startet this morning and I did a pause.

For “The Gun Game” achievement I played “Exodus” and had Honey Badger/infantry kill all the enemies. Might take a try or two but it is really easy to do.
Some of the trophies I found are glitched, for me anyway, the no rest for the wary one and this one. Really annoying, so close to the plat but the game won't let me have em
Try doing it in cliffhanger theres a guy sitting in a chair next to the tower
If you’re having trouble with getting this achievement, try doing a different mission. I did the “Enemy of My Enemy” and it didn’t pop. Then I did cliffhanger first try and it popped. Also while I was playing the Enemy of my Enemy, I was shooting bullets. I know it says as long as you just don’t reload, but not shooting any bullets really secured it’ll pop.
ive done it so many times bruh it wont work . idk its because i keep switching with my pistol bc it does have and melee on it , im guessing it messes with that

I wonder if switching to my secondary counts as reloading because of the gesture. Also when I picked up the module my character almost reloaded but I hope it didn’t count the interaction it canceled out the reload

If you just happen to be doing this on Veteran, yes you have to shoot whenever you are on the snowmobile. Otherwise you will die immediately. The enemies can be extremely accurate at times.

Exodus is the easiest mission to get the The Real Gun Game trophy. Just use the laser to paint enemies so the Stryker (the Tank/BTR that follows you) could kill them all. You can practically do this without firing a single bullet and still get the trophy.
Playing enemy of my enemy on recruit is also a good option as you can just run to the end without a care in the world
TIPS FOR ANYONE : I didn't unlocked the trophy The Real Gun Game because I used my knife to break a window to get an intel...

If anyone is not getting the Ghost trophy even though you followed the guide it's because you SHOULD NOT KILL THE FIRST 4 GUARDS, Soap will take them out if you don't shoot. You'll know you've got it when Soap says 'No alerts, no kills. Impressive, Roach.' immediately after you plant the C4.

Maybe you got intel cheats on that deactivates all achievements try doing a new game and mission select

if you havent got it by now try it on The enemy of my Enemy on recruit and just run through. takes like 2 minutes and is super easy.

JustAlex no you got to shoot a couple bullets just dont reaload

You can literally run through the whole takedown mission. Like literally run through it. It takes like 2-3 minutes.

if the trophy never popped up for you try checking your achievements anyways for it, i ended up finding out i had it already

Brian Mannion i've done it now, it doesn't affect the trophy at all, as long as you ghost through the map after killing the four hostiles with soap at the start of the mission then you'll earn the trophy

Just to all of you know I got the trophy it’s just that if you died restart the whole mission and if you do friendly fire or anything just do the whole mission again also if it didn’t pop up it means you missed one of the mission like I had the problem I did the game from beginning again and I was missing on the wolverines mission after I finished wolverines I got the trophy
I remember 2010 those were the days. Imagine all the homies who didn’t make it to see the remastered :( they’ll remaster cod4 but not the best cod in existence just the campaign -_-

koromaru black ops was a shitty series the campaigns didn’t matchup at all like MW and it was futuristic which made it dogshit

I did real gun game on second sun it's really easy since the level is so short and in the beginning of the level just dont shoot anyone since it's not required to shoot at all to advance the story in that mission

I just did this on veteran and got both trophies. I had to shoot a coule of times after getting ghost, but i made sure they were one shots to the head

I did everything correctly and I didn’t get “The Real Gun Game”. Is there a specific reason why? Is it because I killed the guys at the beginning when Soap gives the countdown?
I recommend playing no russian on recruit and DO NOT change your weapon or use the melee button. After many attempts, not pressing triangle or R3 or any other button besides L2 and R2 seemed to make a difference
You most likely reloaded after, as it says you can’t reload or knife people, so just try again :) without reloading Lol
I think reload canceling counts against the trophy
I cancled my reload and I stjll got the trophy
It also didn’t pop for me. I made sure to switch weapons planting the C4 and getting on the snowmobile considering both actions require use of the reload button. So to avoid that being a risk I switch to my pistol at those two parts and never used it. But it still didn’t pop. I also never knifed anyone.
I hate my muscle memory man I keep reloading after a kill ☹️☹️

Christian Tells No. Trophies don’t count/won’t work if you have any cheats on.

So first off, I didn't get the trophy for not killing or alerting anyone, even tho MacTavish said "no kills and no alerts, impressive", and then afterwards when I try to not reload I accidentally reload when trying to grab the thing at 3:00... now every single enemy notices me even if they literally can't. Or Mac kills someone that alerts another enemy... Garbage

So going for ghost, I didn't get detected knife or shoot anyone but one guard finds the guy Soap shot but he still didn't detect me. I got to the C4 spot still undetected why didn't the trophy pop?

Just snake and let soap shot them before they see you , and if they do restart checkpoint , you cant shot only snake and soap clear (this is about ghost trophy)

Yeah, don't die.
Play on recruit, you don't have to do the whole game in order, just finish the missions with no deaths, you can even play the game backwards if you want, just don't die.

Doing No Russian on Veteran Difficulty and not shooting at all is freaken hard. Worst 5 hours for my life.

Do "No Russian" and lett your crew kill everyone and hide. Don't use your grenade launcher cause it will auto reload. But you can use the grenades to speed up the shield police but your crew should handle most of the killing only using your machine gun 2 or 3 bullet kill and you should be fine.

Ghost Definitely impossible just far more than difficult than it needs to be. Sure they’ll be somebody that manages to get “immortal” veteran 😂

You can do it as many times as you want I suggest to not kill any enemy’s or let soap handle it. Try the path on the video and be very stealthy
