@@eliserio86 Thanks. We eat a mixture of different cuts. Some months I spend more on ribeye's. Some months its ground beef, and eggs, and some moths its chuck roasts cut into steaks. We always add more fat from butter or tallow. So some months are cheap, and others not so much. It helps that I buy my meat by the case and cut my own steaks. This will save me more than a dollar per pound most of the time. Sometimes more.

Total cholesterol 324, ldl 234, hdl in the 70' and triglycerides in the 60s. Also had elevated liver enzymes being watched. I had 3 stents put in last year October 2021 so this makes me very nervous and wanted some suggestions how to lower the cholesterol. 😜🤪😥 Maybe I am eating too much as no weight loss or inches and have not gotten into ketosis so I figure I am definitely doing something wrong🤣

I am 65 years old been a Type2 diabetic for 11 years, my A1C had been as high as 13.0 but I worked on it with serious dedication, and using keto-carnivore I brought it to 9.8, 8.3, 7.9, 7.3, to 6.4, and that was where I was stuck at before starting the full blown carnivore diet on Feb. 02, 2023 and I weighed 298 lbs. On May 04, 2023 I returned to my doctor for blood work, and within 92 days I am now 260 lbs. and my A1C is 5.0, this has definitely made a believer out of me, and I will make this my lifestyle in eating from here on out. My doctor told me in the beginning it can't be done, there was no way to reverse the Type2 diabetes, now he is dumb founded about it. But because my LDL level had raised from 109 to 180 he is wanting to put me on a statin, but I refuse to do that. I have been educated by watching all the other doctors who do this same diet, so I think it is time to find myself another doctor who knows something about this way of life. @@maddworld3317 Don’t be too hard on yourself. You can do keto first and eat more or less the way you did for years, just cutting out carbs as much as possible. I started out last year end of May at 125kg as a 56 year old male. I am now at 93 kg and in the process of transitioning from keto to ketovore/carnivore. I have gotten used to intermittent fasting with two meals a day and one meal a day depending on my mood and motivation, and also throwing in fasting periods of 36 or even 48 hours.
I would say, focus on what works best for you, there isn’t a one for all way to go. Most important thing to be aware of is that you are taking control of your life by adjusting your diet. Meaning you say good bye to sugars (carbs). Your body will need some time to adjust. Do not weigh yourself, or control ketones, blood sugar and what not the first few months. Concentrate on what you can cook with meats, eggs, cheeses, green vegetables like broccoli/cauliflower/cabbage/brussels sprouts (which are my go to veggies). Always eat until your full in a comfortable way. Maintain drinking enough water throughout the day, and stick with it.
I even never had a problem with the holiday season, where I stopped and just enjoyed it all when invited for our Christmas gathering and gorgeous dinner including the dessert and cake. I simply went back the next day and never spent another thought about it. That works fine for and with me.
Here on RUclips it is a good idea to dive into the content of creators like Dr. Ken Berry (carnivore) Dr. Annette Boz (keto) Dr. Mindy Petz (keto in particular for women and their needs - but also interesting for any males watching) Dr. Sten Ekberg (keto) who explains so many details concerning metabolism and nutrition and whatnot happening in your body.

'Hello. My older brother (85 yrs old) is a devoted carnivore, and has been for over 5 yrs. He is doing great! He is very active and extremely clear headed. His lab work is very good. My husband is pretty much carnivor, and occasionally KETO. he used to be diagnosed as “pre diabetic”. But no more. It is so important to him as his mother was a diabetic and lost both of her feet an was on kidney dialysis three times a day.

I'm in SE Qld and love it that there are people on here doing it just as well as those in USA. It's March 2023 now but the issues are probably still the same no doubt. We all want to loose some more weight, reduce our belly size and feel more healthy. I've lost 30kg so far in 8mths and have completely lost my cravings for whatever it was that I thought I needed. I eat once or twice daily and feel fine. Not feeling the need to do more than a 20-23hr fast at this point. Might help in the long run but not feeling good about doing that yet. I'm 67yo but my weight is still up there a bit at 90kg though I never look like I am that heavy. My BP is in the just ok range at 150/65/47 but I'm not flapping out over it. I'm sure it will continue to drop in the coming months as my weight comes off.

You are such a beautiful person...LOVE your easy to use recipe approach. I've just joined some wonderful groups on FB & then found your youtube channel as well! I've been a keto girl for many moons & I"m 54 now, trying to budge about 20 lbs. I've slipped up with craft beer (my vice with beef) and wanted some fresh inspiration to help me...your recipes totally rock & also really love how you are reminding people that they do not have to count macros...so many people do as well as ketones and blood sugar (& good for them if they love the extra incentive), but I think the message is very important for new carnivores to know, that they do not have to count a thing and just trust in the process. Be consistent. Trust in the process. Your easy meal ideas totally help in the consistency process (even when you said dairy if a person can handle some cheese on their burger, for example). Thank you for your no-nonsense apporach to carnivore and sharing your menus!

I slice pepperoni sticks and add into pot of water and lettuce boil. Add cooked beef and pork to pot and let simmer for about two hours. Another favourite. I used to do my bacon like that forever. It’s an awesome way of cooking a lot of bacon without a mess. My new way though that you might want to try if you have an air fryer. As I take the bacon fold it in half and just twist it and then set it in the air fryer I can get a lot of bacon in the air fryer that way And then I do 350° for 10 minutes. It makes a wonderful Chip. Easy to dip. Also stays crisp or longer if you like crisp bacon. My newest addition to my kitchen that I could never live without is the ninja foodie XL indoor grill. It works for us carnivores so well. It even has a thermometer that can cook the meat perfectly pretty much given up on using my grill outside. And the best part about it there is no smoke.

An easy solution to the messiness problem is to use a canning funnel and a ladle. Canning funnels just cost a few dollars and come in a variety of sizes - just select one that best fits your needs.

Only about 4-6 weeks in, but pleased with the results so far. I piggy-backed into this diet from being sick with C over the holidays, and having very little appetite as a consequence. Dropped all sugar at that time, and nearly all carbs since then as well. Haven't had any cravings to speak of, but I think that's because I was sick during that first two weeks of sugar withdrawal. Only veggies I eat now are leafy greens and avocados. No idea how much weight I've lost, but it shows on my face, and I've taken my belt in two notches, which is about two inches. Doing two meals a day, breakfast and lunch, and fasting till the next morning.

I am so glad I found your channel. I really just started and needed some meal ideas. This all sound really good. I am going to try them all. I am 70 and need to lose weight and rectify some health problems. And I just got a call from my 69 year old sister telling me this diet will kill me ! Well, I’m doing it anyway with positivity. I tried to join the body club, but it said the address was invalid.

Nice recipes, thanks! I’ve been virtually Carnivore for two months, I occasionally have yoghurt and nuts after the gym and broccoli every now and then! I’ve lost 1.5 stone but for the last three weeks I’ve been getting itchy throat and headaches in the morning! I’ve reduced my coffee to 2-3 a day, having electrolytes and eating a good carnivore diet, two meals a day when hungry! I’m also mindful about drinking more water! I can’t figure out why I’m dehydrated and thinking of adding a small amount of carbs once a week or a lot more broccoli to help retain hydration! I can’t find much information on this side effect! I feel amazing besides this!

I did Carnivore for a year and a half then fell off of it, but realized all the benefits in comparison. Now, I have Lyme and have returned to Carnivore to help with inflammation. Can't wait to try that Double patty bacon/butter burger and the muffins! (Will you eat all the muffins for your dinner? 9 eggs at once?!) I'm always thinking I'm doing too many eggs at 4 a day!

My skin is itching like mad. OHMYGOODGOD my scalp is painful, my hands and feet tingle, of course I’m 30 pounds heavier on my 5’4” frame, my back aches, I’m exhausted all the time. You get the picture, I could go on and on. It’s Labor Day weekend and I’m going back on carnivore. I pray at 56, I get the same results. Keep chucking out the vids to keep me going! Peace!!!!!!

Great channel! Great community! I started my ketovore journey (not 100% carnivore, yet) 5 weeks ago and am seeing positive results. One suggestion to reduce mess with the carnivore muffins, is to use a ladel to transfer the mixture to the muffin pan. Oh, and a relatively quick dinner I made last night (for the first time) was beef soup. Simply, I lightly seared my seasoned beef chuck ribs (salt mix/pepper mix with cayenne), cut it into cubes and simmered it in beef bone broth (store bought) for about 20 minutes. Delicious! FYI-subscribed last week and going through many of your videos. Thanks again!

To keep your carnivore muffins from becoming as mess, get a large Pyrex (glass) measuring cup with a lip for pouring. Beat your eggs in there, the add your meat and pour. You may need to stir the mixture while pouring to keep meat from settling to the bottom, but it should work. Hope this is helpful.

The meat can be portioned and added to the cups first, then the eggs added on top. That way you get an even amount of beef in each cup.

I am expecting 2 to 3 weeks of withdrawal, going to shop tomorrow! The one thing I may have problems with, are the fat chunks I have seen people eat and the chunks of butter, so gonna try grinding the fat and mixing into meat and melting the butter, its just a texture thing for me, anyway thanks for the recipes and encouragement, wish me luck on this new adventure, here's to healthier version of me to come!!
