Im 32. I've always wanted to join the military, I wanted to join when I was 19 but I had a girlfriend at the time, we thought we would get married and start a family blah blah blah... Then I was single at 25 and became an alcoholic til about 28. Then I my little brother passed away and I wanted to stay close to my mom and other brothers. Now I'm ready for a new start and can finally join the Army. Im nervous but excited. Good luck brother

Its out there just give yourself enough grace to find it then jump in head first. Ull def grow through the hard times.

it definitely will help set you up if you plan everything ahead of time and have a sense of what you’re getting into before you sign the contract- if you’re married or have kids definitely adds more variables to balance out but if not, shouldn’t be too big of an impact and you can always go reserves or national guard as well, depending on what you’re looking to get out of it
