The question was:
"Is that her?"
The answer is:
"Perennial (Live at Wacken 2019)"
I think is not only her, is the whole band...
Don´t forget "who´s gonna be the one" live
@@papasonius YES, YES, YES. Both of those videos/songs are amazing and show her range and strength. I think Who's Gonna Be The One live shows the band, especially Eugene (bassist) off the best.
Definitely Perennial Live at Wacken!! 🤘🏻
She is awesome. I never liked listening to growling vocals but Jinjer pulled me in and i now totally respect their musicianship and vocals...a fan
@@Dude1971Dad Opeth did this for me, but yes, Tatiana is amazing!
The dad vibes? Immaculate. The editing? Great. The commentary? Awesome. 20/10 would trust you to pick me up on time from soccer practice.
Tatiana had like 2 months of vocal training while in school. Other wise she is completely self taught.. An amazing vocal talent and truly a metal Goddess
Of all the fascinating aspects of Tatiana's talent, that's the one that blows me away. She heard people doing what she calls "extreme vocals" and said "I wanna do that!" And she proceeds to not only figure it out on her own, but to end up with one of the gnarliest growls around. Not to mention the extremely good cleans, belts, screams, etc.
If this is your music teacher, you’d better friggin appreciate him!
That is her. Check out perennial live in Wacken 2019
ah yessssssssssssssssss...........ABSOLUTELY this amazing song in live...one of the best since many years in Metal...SURE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@7:54 that opposed-dualist aesthetic within the music itself is no accident. It is inherent to what she believes the nature of a Pisces to be. Those opposing wills form the core of what a Pisces is and she highlights it lyrically throughout the song, very inspired writing imo.
👏🏻👏🏻
This is put so well I feel, as a Pisces myself
Tatiana usually writes the lyrics so adding her emotion isn't hard.
Eugene writes a lot of the songs actually.
@@StefW666 Yes but not Pisces, which she said is deeply personal for her
@@cougar7n10 When did i say she didn't write Pisces? I just corrected Old Man Jim H for stating Tati usually writes the lyrics, while Eugene writes more songs than Tati
Yup that's all her. I've seen them live twice insane range. Best singer in metal today.
"Uh - she's amazing." - You, Sir, have barely scratched the survace...
There's no pedal, man. Not a single one. As people have said, listen to any live version of her and you'll eat those words. She's a once in a lifetime vocalist.
bruh
she's probably the best singer in the last 50 years. at least in rock and metal.
Not true. You can hear some effects in her growls. I know she can growl, but in this case it's not 100% pure. Literally days in the description of the live session that they mixed it.
@@speedyginger2219 what I meant by it is there's no "activation pedal" to her voice. It may have layers in it (which is mentioned in the description of the original video). It was meant as no, her voice needs no "effect" that makes the growl noise.
I honestly don't know how true this "live session" is, because the audio from that video is 100% the same of the album (literally, if you play both at the same time is a 100% match). Either they used that "live session" for the actual album, or they played it live for the footage and then edited with the audio from the album version. Either way, it def had mix and master after recording.
Thank you for contributing to my jinjer reaction hobby
Great reaction - subbed! I appreciated what you said about practice - as talented as Tatiana is, vocally, lyrically, and as a performer, she's put a lot of years into perfecting her skills to make the most of those talents and she is constantly improving her skills. Those pop-ups with info are slick, nice touch!
Perennial live at Wacken is a great next stop for a concert performance. There is a lot of editing on this one. I've seen them twice and they are great live.
What you said about feeling the lyrics in covers made me think of her performance of Alice In Chains' song Man In The Box collaborating with Suicide Silence. In the second verse you can see by the look on her face, especially between lines, that she's really feeling what she's singing.
Oh you should definitely check out more of this band! Their entire discography is great.
Check out their live performances! I'd recommend checking out "Perennial (live at Wacken 2019)" next, also "Who is Gonna be the One (live version)" or "On the Top (live in Kiev)"!
People always seem to question whether or not it's her real voice until the end of the song, when the tempo picks up, and she hits that very high note. That's when you realize that she does indeed have amazing range, and everything you've heard is actually her. Now you're hooked.
Every member of this band is fucking off the charts talent
They’re all badasses
Who's gonna be the one live version, Pit of Conciousness live in Kiev.
Michael, I just found the videos from Kiev...holy cow, what i wouldn't have given to have been there!
Check out "who is gonna be the one" (live)
perfect chaser
The entire band is so talented
Yes, that's her. I know, Tatiana is scary.
But in a positive way 😍
Actually, she's shy in person from what i've heard.
@@Duane_Grabert VERY shy. I met the band before covid hit the states hard. Her and Vlad (drummer) are very shy and reserved, but man once she hits the stage it all goes away. Their bassists Eugene is hilarious and just an awesome dude. It's just pure, raw talent. Woman trained hard and this is what we get. Most underrated band right now.
Yeah scary like you might accidentally not marry her and regret that forever.
💯 Tatiana! She really has that insane vocal range...
What you’re hearing is really from Tatiana! And if you might be curious, I can vouch for the video from VoiceHacks called “Distorted Vocals Defined: Different Types of Screams Explained” ruclips.net/video/GBrGvh4LjMs/видео.html where the channel’s host, Mary Z, goes over various techniques that people of any gender can use to get vocals along those lines. And when the right techniques are used, singers can use of those types of vocals without doing any damage to their voice.
And if you might like to listen to more Jinjer, I think you’d really enjoy “Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019)” ruclips.net/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/видео.html and “Teacher, Teacher” ruclips.net/video/oRkRwL0vjOg/видео.html -and that’s just to name two among many others! And just as a preemptive heads-up: If you might like to pronounce “Wacken” like the locals, one would say “Vah-ken.” (In German, “W” is pronounced like a “V” is in English.) I’m only mentioning that part just since most folks seem to stumble over that one a bit.
PS I’m not sure if it might be too late to change this, but it looks like there may be a typo in “Jinjer” in your video’s title?
She's incredible. Just checked out "Teacher Teacher" and it blew my head off. So awesome.
And, thanks for the heads up. There was a typo and we corrected it. Thanks for looking out!
Music Shed Anytime-you got this!
She just uses a little delay and reverb when singing live. In this live session there is post processing but not as to alter her voice.
Saw them live. She used no pedals. I was 1st row in front of stage. The band was fantastic
This guy is like the Bob Ross or Mr. Rogers of reaction videos and I mean this with the most love, you’re amazing. Favourite reaction guy out there.
This was recorded at Morton Studio, in Kiev, and, produced by Max Morton, who is an absolute wizard with production & mixing.
Hi from the UK something for you to check out the band is called nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland with a Dutch singer floor Jansen (the valkyrie) this band has a massive following in Europe and the internet
Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013
Nightwish story time wacken open air concert 2013
Nightwish romanticide wacken open air concert 2013
Nightwish song of myself wacken open air concert 2013
And prepare for the nightwish army to arive at the door lol
It's all her man! Listen to them live and you'll see! 😉😂😂
Please react to more Jinjer! This band is amazing. I absolutely loved listening to your comments in this video ❤️
I liked that reaction. The popups are fantastic for information and it shows you doing your own footwork. I also like your attitude and inspiration. Keep it up. Great stuff.
Thanks Flakman. We're having a fun time with these.
I could not have put it better, @Music Shed. I mean, i am not new to Metal & screaming and all that comes in certain parts of metal. In there since 1987. But there is always one of those very very promising bands you listen to, that moment you know you got something special. I still remember the first time I heard that song, it was like in my face. That mellow mood from the clean parts, that really gets to you, when you let it. And then the change to the really pound of flesh she's biting off there, with the rest of the band, and I knew i was hooked to this band.
And even then, you know, you have these moments sometimes, with certain bands. But you dont have these moments so often, its kinda special. And often it just fades away, because you heard one or a couple good songs of a band and find it so promising and its really getting to you, but then what follows is kinda not special anymore. With Jinjer, its permanent special since the first time i heard them.
They have their own very special and distinct sound, not to mention really awesome musicians, and probably the hottest russian ever to be in metal. ;) But no kidding, they know what they're doing. And if you like Metal, and a little Jazz and such, you'll love the combination of mellow and hard parts. I also liked their more technical side from back then, which got a lot different after KING OF EVERYTHING (album), but in a way even more distinct and special. They are still technical in many ways, but not so much "Progressive" in the sense of phrase what that category in Metal is. They got to their very own level now, and I doubt anyone can throw them off that place now.
Btw, I only saw your vids here today the first time, there is plenty of people "pretending" to be Music Teachers etc. and many of those reaction videos are a joke. But you're one of the good guys and I really like your approach.
There are still some more JINJER videos out there, hopefully you get to those too. ;) Take care, cheers from Germany.
Nice to see David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls chilling out on the chair in the background.
Glad you noticed!
Jinjer is the total package.
This song has its own reaction channel of people seeing it for the first time. Tati is a metal goddess!
After all this time I still get goosebumps towards the end of this song. Good shit bud 👍🏼
Subscribed and looking forward to more Jinjer
I love your videos. Listening to you is like going to Music Church and you are the pastor. PREACH ON!!
...loved your reaction...the pop-up info is new to me for a jinjer reaction.....and seemed spot on....great comment with the who comparison........"practice" is what the bass player eugene said when he was asked "whats the most important tip you can give up and coming bands".......one thing they couldn't practice consciously was to be in the exact right place in time to have this once in a lifetime combination of musicians come together..........thanks...peace cuz...
Awesome, Dharma Metalrock. Thanks :)
That's just perfected False Chord screaming, no added distortions from production needed. That's 100% her real voice.
glad to see you heard this and continued reacting to jinjer. a lotta people say "wow" then dont dive deeper
Enjoying your Jinjer reactions
I like very much your vision about the song. Firts "reacter" that talks about the amazing story telling talent of Tatiana. Proud about you. Thanks
Love the sound quality of your video!
Another great reaction. What I appreciated most is that you made yourself small and the band big. Kudo's
Geniune reaction, great commentary. Great little info add ons. Definitly subscribing
Liked this for "Be yourself. No apologies necessary".
A music teacher that hasn't reacted to Danny Cary drum cam video of Pneuma yet?? I'll sub because I'm sure it's coming.. Great Jinjer reaction and thoughts.
Loved that you were accepting and the message you received. Be who you want to be. Love your Channel man, you’re sick. I came here because of Miley Cyrus but I’m a metal fan as well. Please keep giving us content!!
great...simply great reaction ...
Holy shit this was a great video. I'm an old, failed musician and I can't emphasize enough how right you are about "be yourself 100%" and "practice." When I look back on all my regrets and failures most of them come down to me not being honest with myself about whether or not I'd put in enough practice, and me taking just a tiny incremental edge off my self-expression in a misguided effort to go along with what I thought was currently popular or to try to be accepted. Colossal mistakes on my part that I'll regret forever.
But anyway yeah; great work, man. I hope your students appreciate you, and I wish them way more than luck.
If it's not recommended already, try Devin Townsend - Kingdom for another great vocal performance
That’s absolutely her voice
I absolutely love how you add your own facts.
Just discovered your channel. Definitely sticking around.
Ohw! Man! I'm so impressed by your video! Watching reacts to piesces - my hobbe last 5 month. But your video is so impressive! First i applause to information that you use in video. I know all of this, but for newcomers it will be so good, And.. That you is only 15% of screen - depends of that how i feel that song.
At all. You made soe great work on this video that i love much as anymore on youtube. So! Thank you!
(Sorry for my english, i'm from belarus, and have not so many practice in english)
Great reaction man. Fun to watch. No foot pedals or distortion devises on Tatiana's voice, just the usual post production reverb and Delays, its all her! They are amazing live performers. Check out Jinjers live performance in Melbourne called Judgment and Punishment!
Kudos for mentioning Daltry...Also one of my favorites
The way it's always sounded to me, comparing her true live vocals at festivals and the like, to this video, is that she is doing the screams live, but they've doubled it in post-production. So it's her, but "beefed up". Always love a jinjer reaction!
Being you're a music teacher, I'm surprised you didn't discuss the meter changes, The guitar, and bass guitar, the ghost notes, and how tight the drummer is in their performances, too.
Love the grunge elements in this
A singular artist, and with a killer band too
You mentioned The Who where it was Pete Townsend who wrote the lyrics. I'd like to mention the band Rush. A trio from Canada. In Rush it was the drummer Niel Peart (RIP) who wrote the lyrics and Alex Lifeson (Guitar) and Geddy Lee (Bass/Vocals) who wrote the music. You should also check out some music from them as well.
And as some commentators below also suggested. Jinjer "Perennial" Live. It is a must.
Tatiana is an amazing talent...I can only think of only one other female singer that has the talent and the ability to perform at that level....Floor Jansen (currently lead singer of nightwish)....I really enjoyed your reaction and as many already mentioned...it is all her...
Definitely her. Next I feel you should check out a live performance. My suggestion would be “perennial “ live from wakken! Nice reaction and great comments.
Subscribed.🤘
Thx... indeed, more & more practice to reach this high range level about this Band !!!
When you watch all videos about Jinjer... you can understand the word "practice"
Storyteller for us ...that clear !!!
_ A request more ask from people (sure)...a great moment absolutely Grace & Powerful ...with 3 amazing musicians + the new Goddess of Metal (Tatiana) !!!
Jinjer Perennial (live at Wacken Open Air 2019)
Salute from France Dear
More Metal videos! Opeth is an oldy but goody and is a main influence of Jinjer. Deliverence by them has one of my favorite outtro's of ALL TIME.
If you would like to see a good range of her and the band's abilities, check out Perennial (Live at Wacken open air 2019) or for the best range of the entire band's ability I would suggest Teacher, Teacher (official video). Actually, I'd suggest both in that order. Perennial is my favorite, but I'll concede they show more of their range in Teacher, Teacher. Now to get their full range, well you'll have to listen to their entire catalog, but Judgement (& Punishment) and Retrospection are good points beyond the aforementioned.
Instrumentals are top notch and the chorus is just out of control.
Listen to 'I Speak Astronomy'!
What a nice dude
Gotta check out this song, live at Wacken 2019.. totally unedited, not rmixed or mastered.. 100% raw as the crowd heard it.. its fucking great!!
Great reaction! I love Jinjer, so please react to more, "Ape" Mystic festival live or "Pit of consciousness", live in Kiev. Both from 2019.
I barely watch these Pisces reactions anymore, but you are pretty decent. There is obviously a bit of post-production layering vocally, but like everyone else said, that is her. The cleans are just as good if not better. Every member of this band is exceptional. Tatiana is obviously the starting draw, but yeah do the Perennial video at Wacken 2019 live. You will want more.
That is her voice. 😀
You're literally the only person to react to this video who noticed how perfect the lighting was. That was like my first impression of the video before Tatiana even said a word.
Truly special band! Check them live to be amazed! "Perennial" live at Wacken and "Who´s Gonna Be The One" live.
Now to react to Teacher Teacher (Official), Who is Gonna Be The One (Live), Perennial (Live), I Speak Astronomy (Official), Judgement (& Punishment)... The list just goes on and on.
"Teacher Teacher" is awesome. Practically blew my head off.
I like the popup video vibe(And I am not being disrespectful)Just remember watching those videos on VH1 back in the days.
Yes, it's her. Check out all their lyrics. Very deep, personal, and poetic.
I have become a fan
@@MusicShed 👍
Jinjer es increíble...Tatiana es una mezcla de angel y demonio
Came here from watching your reaction to "Who is going to be the One". As far as your reaction videos they are better than most. One thing that sounds like it would be easy is matching the audio volume of the video and the reactor, it is not or most do not try. You deserve recognition for doing this very well. The little fact "bubbles" you add to your videos are also great. Great job, and I hope that others will recognize the effort put into making these videos well.
It’s my team! Danny and Howie from www.VeryNiceIndustries.com are simply amazing.
Very nice reaction! I really like the editing in of those factoids. I hope it catches on. You're probably going to have to edit anyway, so you may as well baffle them with your B...errr, brilliance. PS From what I hear, that's the same way you get to Carnegie Hall.
i find it interesting how jinjer doesnt really do guitar solos.... but its fine because everything they play under verses and choruses are already so intricate. the guitar under the outro "emeralds are ripped away" looks as hard as many solos
Love the breakdown & input from a music teacher! I love hearing coaches/teachers talk about this song, and especially the importance of writing & lyrics.
If you want to hear some of the best (in my opinion) writing/lrics that tell great stories, check out Iced Earth. "The Coming Curse" is the final song of the "Something Wicked" trilogy and while the first 2 songs are amazing, the 3rd song is one of the songs I use to turn people onto this band. Phenomenal singing, great guitar playing, fast, slow, etc.
Will do, they are one of my new favs
@@MusicShed glad you are aware of them, how much do you know about them? They have some pretty epic songs, especially trilogies. The 1863 Glorious Burden is the best trilogy ever, and it has its own album.
Horses for courses.on a side note. The production quality of the vid is top notch. Why you haven’t got more subs I don’t know.
We’re brand new!
Music Shed won’t be long till the sun count flies up I’m sure.
I don't usually like text over the video. But in this case however, I really enjoyed your factoids. Great reaction!
Awesome! Thank you!
Yep! That’s all her! Please, please, please, check out Devin Townsend project “deadhead “ live at the royal albert music hall!
Tatiana: "We're not the type of people who are popular."
A few million people: "Hold my beer."
Wow this channel is pro like!
Yes that is her. With slight delay in the recording.
Two other bands from Napalm records with female leads you might want to check out are.....NightWish with Floor.. Ghost Love Score....and Unleash the Archers with Brittany ...Awaking...like Tatiana they have outstanding vocals and the bands are masters of their music
I remember hearing them like 2 years ago when almost nobody knew them lol
I don't know how your music theory is about drum but look at Tomas Haake recording Mushuggah - Clockworks in studio. He is amazing and i have no idea how his brain is wired.
I’m sure hundreds of people have said this but. Nope. That’s her. Check out her other videos. Lots of live concerts where she’s growling like this.
Oh, please try "Deadhead" by Devin Townsend from Royal Albert Hall :)
That's Tatiana Shmaylyuk Bro 😈😈😈
Super!!!!!!!!!!@@@@@
Regarding the little statue/musicians in the background... You should check out the Official Video from *Jinjer - Judgement & Punishment* released in 2019
Fun fact, this song was to try out and demonstrate their new drummer Vlad.
I see you picked a Neumann as opposed to the more common SM7. Nice! You should have more subscribers. Well done,
Instrumentals are like King Crimson quality. Vocals range from Sharon den Adel expression to ... SATAN!!
