The singer is about 11 years old here, there is a version with her doing 'Sober' at about 15-16 and her final performance with OMF doing Black Label Society's 'Crazy Horse' right before her 19th birthday. It's pretty cool watching her voice mature. She also has her own band now with other OMF alums called Saving Escape that plays the Cincinnati area.

“every kid is capable of doing something this cool....” My son was neither an artist nor musician. He was in athletics from a very young age, specifically hockey. Today, he’s a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He credits his leadership and team building qualities back to learning what being a team member was in the game of hockey. As a graphite artist myself, I totally believe what the Music Teacher is saying. Every kid has a talent. It just needs to be nurtured and honed. Kids need encouragement, support, and an artistic or athletic outlet.

On a side note: Upon entering elementary school my parents asked me whether I wanted to learn an instrument. I answered drums and both my parents said that's not an instrument. When I finally extorted an electric guitar at 16 I never got any lessons because my "regular" grades were too low, so I still don't know how to read or write notes...

Couldn’t agree more! This was literally us in the early 90’s! Very Talented ,intelligent and happy kids playing really good ,and complicated music!
Too bad there was no RUclips back then! All we have are the memories of what should still be!
BTW These are the same kids that do Pull me Under!
    They’re very talented musicians!

Nice !! I mean I just watched it again since a few days ago, and the feeling of my mind blowing; absolutely was better than the first. They dominate every bit of your attention span , that's putting it mildly. When you go to the head phone's, strap in for the journey these kids are gonna take you on.

Funny how the kid playing bass is wearing a Periphery shirt...
Of course, Periphery being a band that gives so little shit about bass that they don't even have a bass player.
