Tati pours herself and her soul into the music and lyrics. She has said many times that she tends to procrastinate the lyrics after the band has composed the music and she puts a lot of pressure on herself. This is just the truth of how she creates her art. That is so brilliantly portrayed in this video. Truly amazing.
Great reaction David. I totally agree with you regarding Tati's vocals. I've been a metal head for over 40 years, and I've heard a lot of metal music, bands, vocalists etc.. and I have Tati as my 5th favorite metal vocalist ever (in an actual tie with Ozzy Osbourne) The other four are #4 Bruce Dickinson, #3 Geoff Tate, #2 Rob Halford, and #1 Ronnie James Dio. Now some people will laugh and say, how can I have Tati amongst these legendary vocalists of metal music, and for me it's pretty simple, because she is that great. Keep up the great reactions, and as always, stay Metal my friend. 😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶
Halford's my # 1. Beyond that, I don't have such a well-defined ranking, but I'd venture that if I thought about it, Tatiana would be in my top 5 as well. I've also been a metalhead for close to 40 years, & Jinjer has rejuvenated my interest in music!
While all of these are great vocalists...if not some of the greatest ever...missing Ian Gillian.. Tatianna can run both sides of the fence equally...angelic to demonic...and does it effortlessly! She definitely deserves a top 5 nomination just for that aspect
Yay!! I was so excited for you to hear this!! I love what you said. We can talk about Tati’s poetic, poignant, and emotional lyrics and the story she tells with them and her voice. Then we can talk about the incredible musicianship of Roman, Vlad, and Eugene and the journey they take us on musically. But I think what makes Jinjer so amazing is how they come together and the story they tell together. Which I guess would seem obvious, but they just do it in a way that feels whole instead of just parts coming together, while still standing on their own. That was super convoluted but hopefully you get what I mean. I love them. Thanks again for this! And we’re November Jinjer buddies so we will have to compare notes 🖤🤘🏻
In the video Tatiana is trying to enjoy some alone time, while procrastinating about writing lyrics to the music that the band members have written. The band members grow impatient, and start getting on her case about it. At first Tatiana resists but eventually she throws some lyrics to the music, and the band members leave her alone.
I'm also a musician and I feel the same, and it's nice that you can see the genius of the musicians. thanks for your reaction and greetings from germany ( Jinjer - 30/september/2021 in Mannheim / germany )
In many interviews Tati has spoken about being an introvert. She also has admitted to being a procrastinator when it comes to writing lyrics for the songs the band has composed. I see this as a reflection of those feelings. She is running from the band as they pursue her for her part. She gets angry and attacks them (with her guns here) but it has no effect one them. They go away when she throws her lyrics (the sand mandala) at them. That's my read, anyway.
Not only the lyrics. The vocal melodies as well. She gets a finished instrumental piece and she is supposed to “seal the deal” so to say. Considering the hype and success the band has been experiencing lately it is understandable she feels a huge amount of pressure. But she keeps pulling it off. The vocal melodies are always awesome 👏🏽
Jinjer never ceases to amaze me. I owe you for the introduction last year. We love watching you react to our favorite bands for the same reason you love introducing bands to your family. 💙
Interesting review. Another neat thing about the video is the music in the credits - it's not just random music but a bit from their another song "Pearls and Swine" and there's a meaning behind, a connection it in the songs' lyrics, like two sides of the same thing, or "Pearls and Swine" kinda discussing a reason for becoming an introvert.

Inner darkness vs inner light. Introverted fear of disappointing friends but needing to take care of herself in her own space. I think the chase is friends wanting her to stay hanging out when she just wants to recharge.
Although there are a handful of people who mentioned the whole Tati's delay in giving the lyrics to songs, and the 2 wolves, there's also meaning with the colour red. Her lips that have red lipstick on them, and the box with her lyrics that's she's holding while running from Eugene, are precious to her. Since 1 are lyrics from her heart, and she uses her lips to sing and scream those lyrics.
The video is really about theirr song writing process. Tatiana is an introvert by her own admission. When Jinjer writes a song the guys write the music then give it to her to come up with lyrics and melody. She says she always waits until the last minute. The sand painting is her creating the lyrics. You can see them chasing her then showing up at her door. When she finally has enough she gets the guns...they are in her house and she is shooting at them ( not hitting just arguing or the tension) then finally she walks away ..gathers up the sand and throws it at them..they disappear and shes happy and calm again

The same fight is going on inside you-and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Wise words about the resonating with someones voice. I'd add one thought about it. "Good singer" is not equal to "good artist of singing". Good singer knows how to sing and can hit high and low notes. He adds some quality and technique in his performance. Good artist of singing knows how to act while he's singing. He adds some feelings and drama or joy in his performance. The truth is that in most cases artist is more likable than singer. There're lots of perfect singers with no charisma and without a fame. All you can say about their singing is just "cool, very technical". Technical but boring. And there're lots of great artists of singing who are not as good at singing actually. Their singing is just OK in a technical sence or sometimes even worse. In most cases they have the voice with an interesting color but that's it. But they always are great as an artists. They are crying, laughing and roaring through their songs and that's moving the audience. Sometimes one person combines high quality singing and passionate acting. That person has a chance to became a legend. Does Tatiana have that chance? I don't know, probably. I'd wish her to reach that level, she has the potential.
Her voive moves me every time, the way I see it, is that she is one of that singers that puts their soul in what they sing. That second scream is like she is opening her soul and screaming her pain- beautiful

Hi David, just a head's up that Tom Morello and Bring Me the Horizon teamed up and just dropped a song called Let's Get the Party Started. They do some cool stuff in that song I think you'd appreciate
That’s bad ass!!
@@MusicShed It absolutely is! I feel like I've been given a treat with two BMTH songs within just a few weeks. Both bangers
You like to see people reacting to music that you like ?!?! guess what ...
What?

I shrug every time I hear this band. Not bad, not great. Just kinda there.
