Rick, your message during the workout resonated with me. For years I made exercise a bigger deal in my head than it should have been. What I mean is, I'd feel like I had to exercise for x minutes or at a high intensity for it to "count" and end up making excuses not to do it. Or I'd do a workout only occasionally and then be sore for days afterwards. I've recently realized that my goal is to to keep myself active so that my body is never holding me back from the things I want to do in life. I've consistently done your videos several times a week for over a year and look forward to doing them. Not only do I appreciate the variety of workouts and fun music, but I appreciate the positivity that you bring. Thank you, and I look forward to working out with you in the new year!!
I am very very overweight and I have a really poorly knee but I wanted to start working out. I've been going for a month now and when I started I was just making it through the 10 minute workouts and now I can do 40/50! My mindset is the biggest change I've seen. Hi, Rick! I'm 56 years old with bad knees. I am also going through body changes after menopause and have Hashimoto's Syndrome (bad thyroid). I felt like a mess and can't for the life of me lose weight and feel good about myself like I did years ago. It made me hate my body and have low self esteem. Then I decided that just because I can't be thin, doesn't mean I can't be healthy. Exercising is WAY more important to do for health than looking "cute". So, I found your channel and IMMEDIATELY loved it!!! You make it so much fun that I don't even realize I'm exercising. I love your humor, encouragement, dance moves and energy. I love to dance and haven't in years! I may be a little chubby, but I am feeling great and more limber and stronger. I really enjoyed your positivity and personality and your positive messaging! Very encouraging and fun. I really enjoy standing workouts for beginners with live voice coaching and that was what I was looking for when I found you! All of the moves were doable for a beginner level like me which is the most important thing! I appreciated the effort you made to make the workout easy to follow. Even so I got lost a few times with the sequences that required more coordination but I got better as I went along haha. It was a good workout for beginners nothing too complicated. Love this I used to do body.l combat classes but it took its toll on my knees I’m now 54 and get up early before work and do half an hour of your workouts totally changed my attitude to exercise even added a 15 min at night too now , thanks so much ❤❤

This is by far my favourite of your videos. I love the way when you muddled your steps (as did I and more than you LOL) that you just laughed it off. Thats the way. Dont take life so seriously. Your on point that although the steps are muddled its still a great workout. Stay chilled and keep up the fantastic work. I have tried many walking workouts online and you are way out in front. They are not too taxing on the joints and still an effective workout. Enjoy the combo workouts as they are so interesting (I am easily bored with exercise but you keep us engaged so much that there is no time to be bored.) Thanks a million!!!

59 years young, and just started my journey to a new me in June, down 75lb, 75 to go. I am loving these combat workouts, I know they are going to help get me there.
Recently had a major operation on my neck and was advised to walk 30 mins a day, which I hate, (don't know why) I started to make excuses not to go. I love dancing & music so started to do your step videos being careful not to jolt my neck and I love it! I feel in control because I choose what time I do it and can have a nice shower afterwards. I suffer with arthritis in my knees which is getting progressively worse. I struggle to walk more than about a quarter of a mile. I have been doing your step workouts for a long time, but thought I would push myself with this. I can't believe I have just done the whole thing without stopping and WITH NO PAIN!!!! Thank you :-)

I loved this workout! My credit card gave me a free year subscription to a popular fitness app, a $300 value. I tried it on the beginner’s program and I couldn’t do the movements because it was so much impact on my knees and back. I felt so weak not even making through the warm up program (I mean is being in a lunge position then jumping up to switch legs into another lunge really a beginner’s exercise). So I logged on to youtube and saw your latest work out. It was easy to do and made me feel powerful and strong. Thank you so much for helping us all see how much we can do and not get discouraged by focusing on our physical weaknesses. I love your programs and I’m definitely going to sign up to try the special program.❤❤❤
After two years of working at home and becoming a couch potato, I found I had lost whatever little muscle tone I had. At 68 it’s was not easy to be active at first. Your videos have been a great way for me to start getting moving again! ❤ I love the inspirational banter you provide while motivating me to put a little more effort into each workout.
Thats great to hear and I hope you are still keeping it up!!! I have knee issues and when I do this workout I always hear creeks and cracks in the knee and that way I know my knees are getting a well needed workout!

Day 1 (Wednesday for me) DONE! Late to the WEEKLY CHALLENGE workouts but started it today. Didn't want to do the Monday 30 mins workout but did it anyway and the cooldown. love your workouts as I have arthritis in my shoulder, 2 hip replacements and a BMI of over 40 so this is great for me. I have worked out to several of your videos. 30 Min Body Combat 3000 Steps Low Impact is my favorite, just worked out to it for the first time. So many moves that remind me of the TaeBo VHS tapes I worked out to in the ‘90’s. Yes, aging myself! Glad this video was low impact, can no longer do some of the higher impact moves. Although low impact, I definitely feel I will see results. Feel amazing to start the week! As always, thank you, Rick.
It's not easy for me to find a nice workout that I like with a trainer that I like. I have finally found it with Rick and this amazing workout. Granted, it will take me a while to get 100% coordinated with the steps (the last little bit, I said "forget it" and just marched) but with enough practice I will get there. I've made it through 5 weeks of Sweat, Shred, Sculpt but today I'm traveling and was disappointed that the wifi in this hotel doesn't seem to be robust enough to play today's workout. Then I remembered that I could do a workout from RUclips, which did work, so I did this one and am proud of myself that I didn't have to skip a day. I don't know that I've ever exercised so religiously before.

I have the same condition and Ricks workouts are far better for my knees than any of the ALL of the physio exercises I have ever been given to do.

I loved this workout! My credit card gave me a free year subscription to a popular fitness app, a $300 value. I tried it on the beginner’s program and I couldn’t do the movements because it was so much impact on my knees and back. I felt so weak not even making through the warm up program (I mean is being in a lunge position then jumping up to switch legs into another lunge really a beginner’s exercise). So I logged on to youtube and saw your latest work out. It was easy to do and made me feel powerful and strong. Thank you so much for helping us all see how much we can do and not get discouraged by focusing on our physical weaknesses. I love your programs and I’m definitely going to sign up to try the special program.❤❤❤
After two years of working at home and becoming a couch potato, I found I had lost whatever little muscle tone I had. At 68 it’s was not easy to be active at first. Your videos have been a great way for me to start getting moving again! ❤ I love the inspirational banter you provide while motivating me to put a little more effort into each workout.
Thats great to hear and I hope you are still keeping it up!!! I have knee issues and when I do this workout I always hear creeks and cracks in the knee and that way I know my knees are getting a well needed workout!

Didn't want to do the Monday 30 mins workout but did it anyway and the cooldown. love your workouts as I have arthritis in my shoulder, 2 hip replacements and a BMI of over 40 so this is great for me. Your body is always able to do more than you think it can, thanks Lynda

I have worked out to several of your videos. 30 Min Body Combat 3000 Steps Low Impact is my favorite, just worked out to it for the first time. So many moves that remind me of the TaeBo VHS tapes I worked out to in the ‘90’s. Yes, aging myself! Glad this video was low impact, can no longer do some of the higher impact moves. Although low impact, I definitely feel I will see results. Feel amazing to start the week! As always, thank you, Rick.

It's not easy for me to find a nice workout that I like with a trainer that I like. I have finally found it with Rick and this amazing workout. Granted, it will take me a while to get 100% coordinated with the steps (the last little bit, I said "forget it" and just marched) but with enough practice I will get there. I've been out of action for a few months due to having a really bad respiratory infection. I thought I'd give this a go , thinking that I would struggle as my fitness isn't what it was. I've made it through 5 weeks of Sweat, Shred, Sculpt but today I'm traveling and was disappointed that the wifi in this hotel doesn't seem to be robust enough to play today's workout. Then I remembered that I could do a workout from RUclips, which did work, so I did this one and am proud of myself that I didn't have to skip a day. I don't know that I've ever exercised so religiously before.
