      Im not positive on the effects that oil type would act like since and transmission and wet clutch all use the same oil I’d stick to OEM 10w 30 /40 any brand 👍

    Do you think it would be ok to run 10w40 in the fury rather than 10w30 do you think it would hurt it

    • @Thevalleygarage
      @Thevalleygarage  Год назад +1

      It won’t hurt at all! You can do both.. I went with the 30 cuz that’s what the store had at the time 🤘

    do you just drain the oil, add fresh oil then done? I was thinking of draining the oil adding fresh oil run the bike for a while, drain the oil again and then add fresh oil. or is that just a big waste of time???

    • @Thevalleygarage
      @Thevalleygarage  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes! Simply Drain oil , add new filter and then fill with 4 quarts.. The new filter will handle any left over deposits saving the time and oil

      I’m in the same situation and I believe it’s a hotsart issue double check your ground connects located under the seat.. running an additional power wire from the negative battery terminal to a ground (metal with no paint) area may also help but I haven’t executed the mod yet
