Almost like peanut tanks or something. The bike looked great but just limited. I’ve since learned they had a reasonable range and regret not at least taking a test drive
I am very seriously contemplating buying one of these bikes. I like the style, the deep rumble of the big v twin, and how low it sits seeing as I am only 5'8 and 180lbs. It's been years since I rode, but this thing seems like it would be a nice one to get back on two wheels with. My last two bikes were older sport bikes, but I've always loved the chopper look but not the chopper price or how they felt.
Nah man. As an unhappy person, my motorcycle makes me happy. I havent had a moment I didnt enjoy on it yet. Mashing through the gears had me laughing hysterically. It might not change your life, but itll make you happy.

Man, I love everything about this video. Within the past few weeks, when I wake up around 3am or when I’m laying in bed and can’t fall asleep, I’ll watch one of these videos of you riding. It’s almost like a guilty pleasure 😆 But this video in particular is really great. I love all the verses and sometimes a prayer at the beginning, keep that up, but todays verse was great. I love all your videos test drive videos but this one was my favorite. I love the bike and now want one for myself 😆 everything about this video was great. Keep it up (Yes I know I’m watching 2-4yr old videos, but I love this style of videos. Your audio is perfectly clear!)
Sorry, I don't follow, Motorcycles absolutely make me happy, I can't think about problems while cruizing along with the wind in my hair (read as helmet). Nothing reduces stress like a nice country ride even better with friends, total joy on two wheels.
I guess I'm a little different. I think about all my problems when I'm riding. But, since I'm riding, I think of everything in a different light.. it helps me get to the bottom of things. It really helps me out. What would we do without these machines ??
I did an experiment one time while I was having weekly doctors visits.. One day I drove my car in and my heart rate was at about 98 BPM.. then the next visit which was a few days later I rode my bike with NO changes from the previous visit and my heart rate was at 85 BPM.. So yes riding a bike on a gorgeous day is a very relaxing experience
I love you videos. Informative, interesting, variety of bikes.... But the 1 thing I enjoy and especially respect are the words of wisdom. Thank you and keep up the great work.
I personally own a 2016 model....love it!!! It is by far the best bike i have ever drove. Lots of aftermarket is out there. They are the VTX1300. The only difference is the rake, bigger front wheel and wide rear tire
Had mine 7 years now. Might go get a new one. Absolutely the best bike I've ever owned, especially when I incorporate the cost of maintenance. I just can't drop the money on a Harley for their lack of innovation since the dawn of the 2000s.
Money is a little like food: you need a certain amount of it to live, and especially if you've had to go without it, it's easy to believe that more is always better, but beyond a certain point, having more can be harmful to your wellbeing. "give me neither poverty nor riches... Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain." Proverbs 30:8, 9
Had a fury, sold it, now I am UNHAPPY!!! Seriously though, I LOVE THE FURY. I will be getting another one. Just need to figure out how to tell the wife :-)
My 2010 Honda Stateline was rough on my lower back. I'm 6' 1" and I wish I had spent more time on the initial test drive. After 1hr of riding my lower back was trashed. The Stateline and the Fury are basically the same bike. I used it mainly for around town driving and I'm glad the bike wasn't too expensive. Still a fun bike, a lot of compliments, and the 1300 is a nice motor.
Here's some wisdom for you Sean. Riding my motorcycle gives me happiness. Having enough money to pay my bills and financial obligations gives me feelings of confidence and well being. Doing the job that I love makes me happy knowing that there are many other jobs out there that suck the soul out of you. Knowing that I am loved and cared for by my family makes me happy. All of this and just being a decent person is worthy of happiness. Didn't need a book to tell me this stuff, after 60 years of living on this globe it just makes good sense. I just wish others would come to the same conclusion.
If you want a chopper. The Fury is the best bike made. The Fury is the only real chopper. The Rader was not a true chopper. The problem was Honda made the Fury just after the end of the Chopper Craze. By then you could pick up a $40,000 dollar Big Dog for $10- $15 thousand dollars. Had Honda released the Fury during the Chopper Craze, they would have been back ordered. .....And yes it's the VTX 1300, which uses a single pin crank, which gives it the great sound. God bless you brother.
motorcycle ad in thailand counters this claim! Showed a group of old men living terrible lives and all their worries go away when they ride motorcycles!!
Actually....I lost my wife and kids to the world. I fell in love with a young lady and she died from injuries from a fall. I was injured and I needed help. I rode my motorcycle, drove my Jeep, high top Chevy Express 2500, and my Ford Fusion SE to therapy and group sessions. ( I was all alone and taking a sabbatical from work. I needed to keep all the batteries charged....I would have drove my "Breaking Bad Bounder" if the parking lot had been bigger.) I was never actually suicidal....I rode with ALL gear, all the time. Sometimes I wore my hi-vis. Areostitch Roadcrafter suit and matching Arai helmet for a 6 mile ride! I didn't mind dying but I didn't want to become seriously injured, financially ruined, unable to work, on top of being all alone and suddenly not able to attract women as well as I could before "the crash". The therapy helped. Riding my ST1300 gave me satisfaction and people seemed to be interested in getting to know me . I won't say that having and actually RIDING a nice motorcycle will make everyone happy but for me it has been a rewarding experience. Five years later, I just completed a 10 day, 3300 mile tour on that same bike and I have been married for 2 years. We believe that God prepared us to love and care for each other. My beautiful wife came all the way from the Philippines and while I have been running up and down the roads on a fast Honda.
I owned a Fury it was a good bike, but after a while I felt like a pretend chopper guy. I would come across guys who built their choppers, and the Fury just seemed fake next to their bikes. The Fury is a great and reliable, but maybe choppers are more about the soul of a bike then how well it’s engineered.
I didn't buy my Fury to be a chopper wannabe, I bought it because it felt right. If I threw a Sumo-X kit and some other mods on it, then it would be a chopper
The problem was that they came out the same price as the Yamaha Raider at $15K. Fury has a 1300cc/80ci while my Raider has a 1854cc/113ci motor, fury has 57hp to raider's 90 stock hp, 200mm rear wheel compared to Raider's 210mm rear tire but Raider can go to 240mm with no mods just throw it on stock rim, gas tank 3.8 to Raider's 4.2 gallon tank, rake 32 degrees to Raider's 40 degrees on front forks. Now the Honda Fury comes at $10,500 compared to the Yamaha Raider at $15,200.
If I couldn't get a Raider it was my second choice. Great looking and riding bike. Chopper look with Honda dependability. A custom chopper at a Honda price. After you throw an aftermarket pipe on it, it sounds great.
Definitely. I agree that Fury is a fine ride, it will get you down the highway and sound good doing it. I was just saying I preferred the Raider's look and feel more than the Fury's. But I still think the Fury is fine and with the right aftermarket pipes can sound great. If I get a second bike it will be a Fury.
I have a 07 VTX 1300r with 38k on it I've never had one problem with it , other than tires /brakes... I've had it for 8 year's ... Great bike's in my opinion.. Keep up the great video's....
I don't comment on youtube but I had to say that watching this video your someone I'd love to hang out with.. your spiritual wisdom you were spitting out is awesome... I've had hundreds of thousands of dollars and it makes no difference in happiness.. you must first acknowledge you are already happy with everything before you can enjoy life.. awesome video
I feel that the only reason they didnt sell well in the beginning is that we were in the thick of the great recession and a lot of luxury items weren't selling well back then. They're a great looking bike!
I wanted to tell you, I really appreciate the scriptures you share on here. God bless!! The only thing that I can't get around and I'm not sure why is the fact that to me the gas tank doesn't look like it fits the bike because the frame rails aren't covered by the tank. I will have to agree and disagree with you on choppers. I love choppers! But, like you said, they have to be ride-able and comfortable. However, if you can't handle a bike properly and want to be able to do it better no matter what bike you ride. Then, you need to go to the Ride Like a Pro channel to learn how to handle a bike.
Man I fell in love with the fury as soon as I saw it. Took a while but got a 17. It aint the fastest or most powerfull but it looks damn cool and rides well. Sux that ya gotta stop for gas every 100 miles. But you will get attention! BTW no passenger pegs or seat came with mine
Why I like your videos, you have the camera facing the road but still show the bike, as though we're riding along. Brilliant. Your conversation is a bit inane but can hold that against you, arnt we all at sometime. The mere proliferance of your videos and variety of bikes is truly remarkable. When ever I get ready to buy a bike I always look up your reviews. But I must admit I've been mean to you in some comments and for that I Apologize. But in my own defense I have to say you seem to be a nerd on the highest order. Loveable but nerdish. Thank you for all your hard work and may the Lord continue to bless you and all your endeavors. The Fury 1300 engine is the same block basically as the older 1300 VTX, only now they are fuel injected. That may make them a bit more responsive so you have that but they have alot less horse power than the older 1300 VTX (about 10 less hp)
I really enjoy your words of wisdom. It's one of the reasons I'm subscribed. I tend to run and be lazy when it comes to hearing the word even though I know I need to. And ur vids kinda keeps it in my ears👍
In the 80s I raced a 85 CR250R and my first street bike, 87 VFR750 interceptor. I still ride dirt but lost the love of street but that bike could change my mind.
Thank you Sean for your words of wisdom. It is true that we will never find permanent happiness in any material thing. Happiness can only be found within ourselves. I do very much enjoy your motorcycle review videos. They are are source of temporary happiness.
I had a 2003 VTX1800c, it was fuel injected. Mine had an aftermarket exhaust, air intake and a FI tuner. Great bike, but my biggest complaint was its lack of turning ability. It was great at highway speeds, but seemed to fight me on slow turns. I suspect it was because of the low profile front tire. But due to other life issues, I had to sell it. Now I'm on a custom chopper and couldn't be happier with the bike! But it's not one of those trailer queen, unrideable pieces of "art".
The only things I disliked about my fury was the rev limiter and speed limiter. Top speed is 100mph and rpm is around 4k or so. It hits 100mph very quick but I feel like my bike needs that choke collar removed if you know what I meen. I want my bike to show the 100% potential that it should be showing. I'll deffently be putting that device into the computer for the rev limiter, rpm, and 30% (I think) more horse power I believe. Vance and Himes exaust installed made a very HUGE DIFFERENCE in sound as well. I love it!
Ditto for me. I have a V&H 2 into 1 (since discontinued) and a Power Commander V... it *feels* faster but I can't say for sure... I'm thinking about hitting a dyno or 1/4 mi track to see what it does
True happiness is being the best servant you can be and true enough the more you know the wiser you are and the wiser you are the more humble you become and that's how you become as close as possible to your maker and he will fill your heart with peace.

My BigDog Husky makes me happy when i ride it and when i dont. Just knowing i own it makes me happy. I also like the Fury and could care less what anyone thinks about what i ride.
I have not had a bike for some time now and I can assure you a motorcycle does make me happy.... Im not happy when I don't have one and out there alone with my thoughts helps to sort things out so riding helps with wisdom !
The Fury used an updated version of the VTX1300 powertrain and brakes, replacing the 38 mm CV carburetor of the VTX1300 engine with fuel injection (PGM-FI) using a single 38 mm throttle body. The Fury's undersquare engine also received modified cams and cylinder heads as well as a redesigned exhaust system.

Yep, I think the Fury looks Great.
Nah man. As an unhappy person, my motorcycle makes me happy. I havent had a moment I didnt enjoy on it yet. Mashing through the gears had me laughing hysterically. It might not change your life, but itll make you happy.
If you laugh hysterically while meshing through the gears, Then maybe you should seek a good psychiatrist as no matter how you look at it, it’s just plain odd.
a 6 Absolutely! I mean your meth lab could be on fire! Girlfriend is being held hostage by the cartel and get on your bike and shit just melts away! lol But seriously NOTHING MAKES ME HAPPIER in my shit life!
Man, I love everything about this video. Within the past few weeks, when I wake up around 3am or when I’m laying in bed and can’t fall asleep, I’ll watch one of these videos of you riding. It’s almost like a guilty pleasure 😆
But this video in particular is really great. I love all the verses and sometimes a prayer at the beginning, keep that up, but todays verse was great.
I love all your videos test drive videos but this one was my favorite. I love the bike and now want one for myself 😆 everything about this video was great. Keep it up
(Yes I know I’m watching 2-4yr old videos, but I love this style of videos.
BEAUTIFUL passage. Perfect.
Thanks Chris
thank you!
Not a believer, but the food and money analogy is most appropriate.
Enjoy your day.
I feel in love with they Fury after I rode one at demo it was so comfortable, felt light, and had good power. That one blacked out looks so good!
Had a fury, sold it, now I am UNHAPPY!!! Seriously though, I LOVE THE FURY. I will be getting another one. Just need to figure out how to tell the wife :-)
Sell the wife?....OOOOHH "tell" the wife! sorry.
Don't say a word to your wife just get it, after she leaves some day you'll be glad you had it
Tell her you let it go and then it came back to you, that's how you know it's "the one".
How? Tell her after you buy it. If you tell her before, she won't let you buy it.
Just get it. Tell her after the fact.
It sounds good. I've compared and looked at several, my preference is the Raider.
Im not a bike guy and actually find many of them ugly BUT this bike looks so good, the design is the best i have seen personally
The Fury looked like it would be really fun to cruise around on. I liked the Sound also. Plus you get the Honda reliability. Great Video Sean. 👍👍
Yes, but I’ve been unhappy on a motorcycle and I’ve been unhappy off of motorcycle. I’d rather be unhappy on a motorcycle any day.
That exhaust note...i had a hard time paying attention to you.
[YAWN] ... Video begins at 4:13
Thanks buddy
Hey man, first 4mins saved me a session with a shrink!
god damn
Yeah...
You’re doing the lords work
Absolutely love this channel.
Great video, Sean is a good honest guy
just bought the 2019. Awesome video I luv the way you love the Lord also.
ant d just got a 2019 myself and good lord i wanna ride it all the time
Hey brother hows that fury treating ya ? I really want one just not sure
You won’t regret it. I have a 2015 and it’s comfortable on long hauls.
"A motorcycle won't make you happy..." Ever see a patient ride a motorcycle to a shrink's office?
motorcycle ad in thailand counters this claim!
I needed to keep all the batteries charged....I would have drove my "Breaking Bad Bounder" if the parking lot had been bigger.)
I was never actually suicidal....I rode with ALL gear, all the time.
I did the other day
The fury is one of my favorite bikes ever. And I ride a 2012 Seventy-two sporty
Yes, it's a vtx1300 with fuel injection and a smoother power/torque curve.
No, its not lol. Not even the same motor.
Yeah it is lol I own a 2016 fury lol
@Alex Eidenier lol, no, its NOT. Dont argue with me on this!
@Alex Eidenier still, "not" a VTX nor the same motor!
4:15 is when the entire point of the video starts, youre welcome
1:13 is when the entire point and purpose of life starts, you're also welcome my guy
Thanks
@Tuco Malatesta don't watch his vids then...
@Tuco Malatesta you took Jesus's "teachings" out of context. Jesus also says to spread his word though all that you do.
@Tuco Malatesta that referring to someone who is praying only so that they make themselves look like a true believer
WHATEVER
I didn't buy my Fury to be a chopper wannabe, I bought it because it felt right. If I threw a Sumo-X kit and some other mods on it, then it would be a chopper
I have a 2010, absolutely love it. At 6'3" it's a good frame for tall people. Also it's literally the same 1300 engine, just fuel injected.
Where did they hide the radiator?
@@TheBandit7613 in front of the motor between the two frame rails.
@@fishnevada I thought that was an oil cooler. That's a compact radiator.
The bike ia a work of art.
Sickest bike from Honda. These should sell much better.
BUT! That Fury is a very sweet bike. Maybe not AS fast, blah blah woof woof, but it will get you down the highway just fine.
Definitely. I agree that Fury is a fine ride, it will get you down the highway and sound good doing it. I was just saying I preferred the Raider's look and feel more than the Fury's. But I still think the Fury is fine and with the right aftermarket pipes can sound great. If I get a second bike it will be a Fury.
The tiny fuel tank and the crappy Honda dealer were the deal breakers for me
I have a 07 VTX 1300r with 38k on it I've never had one problem with it , other than tires /brakes...
I've had it for 8 year's ...
Great bike's in my opinion..
Keep up the great video's....
Thing sounds sick love it
I don't comment on youtube but I had to say that watching this video your someone I'd love to hang out with.. your spiritual wisdom you were spitting out is awesome...
Yep same motor as the vtx1300 just fuel injected. The fury's are basically the vtx reimagined, and I love them.
The term is factory custom. The fury is a great looking bike.
I’ve always thought it was an ugly looking one and still do.
I has a Honda Shadow 1100 Spirt and it was my favorite until I got me a Fury. I love this bike. I shaped my mirrors as soon as I could.
It’s cool that you can buy a chopper stock
Hope to hear more from you.
Honda made 4 variations Fury, Sabre (chopper) and State line, Interstate (cruiser)
All with the same engine
INDIAN LARRY WAS THE ONLY BIKE BUILDER I KNEW OF THAT BUILT BIKE TO RIDE AND THAT TURNED EASILY!!! HE BUILT BIKES THAT WERE CITY STREET FRIENDLY!!!!. THOSE OTHER CUSTOM BIKES ACTUALLY PISSED HIM OFF BCUZ THEY WEREN'T REALLY RIDABLE. A LOT OF IT HAD TO DO WITH THE RAKE OF THE FRONT END. I LOVE WHAT U GUYS DO AND WHAT UR ALL ABOUT. I FOLLOW U GUYS ON RUclips AND I PLAN ON BUYING MY NEXT BIKE FROM SRK CYCLES. TY FOR EVERYTHING AND PLZ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!GOD BLESS YOU AND STAY SAFE!!!..
I was definitely happier when I had my Harley looking to get a fury
My motorcycle make my commute a happy occasion.
Very happy splitting the lane when the car people are backed up at the lights
My motorcycle very much makes me happy
The Fury 1300 engine is the same block basically as the older 1300 VTX, only now they are fuel injected. That may make them a bit more responsive so you have that but they have alot less horse power than the older 1300 VTX (about 10 less hp)
Hey man, keep up the inspirational words.
Came here for the Honda Fury. First 5 minutes added and validated what I was learning this morning in my personal life.
Money can bring WAY more opportunity for happiness than poverty.
I really enjoy your words of wisdom. It's one of the reasons I'm subscribed. I tend to run and be lazy when it comes to hearing the word even though I know I need to. And ur vids kinda keeps it in my ears👍
Loving the videos and I like the fact that we're all here because of our love for motorcycles. :)
Dude, where you been all my live?!
Fantastic channel, fantastic that you bring Faith to it!!
God Bless You and everyone who sees this.
I love how on the beginning of most of these videos he says "We have here a......I'm not sure what year it is".
He starts talking about the bike at 4:15
Thanks, really.
Thanks I wanted to hear about the motorcycle not go to church
THANK YOU
Mvp
I'm thinking about hitting a dyno or 1/4 mi track to see what it does
True happiness is being the best servant you can be
and true enough the more you know the wiser you are and the wiser you are the more humble you become and that's how you become as close as possible to your maker and he will fill your heart with peace.
GOOD MORNING Just watch your review on the Honda fury 2012 I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed your verse in the beginning of your video thank you so much keep up the great work godless
Love to see one with the VTX1800 motor and taller bars
1800 fury would be a blast!
I have been saying the furry needs the 1800 engine
I'm waitin for it too. Talkin to the guys at the shop here, they are "supposed" to be making a very limited production one soon. It was originally designed for an 1800 but honda said it was too much power for the weight and design. As soon as the put it out there, I'll be making a down for one, still not gettin rid of my 17 fury though,,,, it's my baby!
Why I love my Victory Jackpot. Looks like a full custom but absolutely rips, super comfortable, and handles fantastic
What I love about having a bike is I have my lovely wife hop on the back. When the two of us ride there is a closeness between the two of us. The Bible says love your wife like Christ loves the church.
"and gave Himself for it". Ephesians 5:25 Amen brother. MARANATHA
I like this guy,brutally honest,educational videos
Seeing the Stryker is 1300cc (which I own), I'd think it would be best to compete against that instead of the 1900cc Raider.
True, though a Fury 1800 would be interesting too.
No the stryker has a smaller build...the raider is more built like the fury
thats a great point, and the stryker would be a better comparison to the fury. right on
He Compared it to raider because the Stryker is a lot smaller even though it has the same size engine
There is a video where they compare it to a Stryker
I'm a Marine 10years in the Coprs multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have really bad PTSD and when my Anxiety and depression gets bad riding my YZF-R1 or my Victory Hammer, my ninja ZX10R or my Harley makes me happy it's the best therapy. I almost bought a 2010 Honda Fury the Victorys look similar to the Furys but the Victory has more power. But Honda does build a really reliable bike.
I'm looking at a 2011 fury with cobra pipes do these bikes have to have a fuel tuner ? Love the looks of the fury and being dependable.
My BigDog Husky makes me happy when i ride it and when i dont. Just knowing i own it makes me happy. I also like the Fury and could care less what anyone thinks about what i ride.
Who'd be stupid enough to mock a Big Dog? I want the K9 so bad I can hardly stand it -- but I won't EVER give up my Fury for it.
Love the bike and your videos but seriously PLEASE USE TURN SIGNALS! :):):)
I own a 2012 fury only thing I dont like about it wish it was a belt drive, shaft is to jerky..but I love it.fast and comfortable bike.
The Fury has a 1300cc engine. It's in the same category and the Yamaha (Star) Stryker!
1312cc
I test rode a Stryker and absolutely LOVED it
Jesse James helped design the Fury and built a prototype for them to base the actual production bike off of. Pretty cool.
My motorcycle makes me happy!
I have not had a bike for some time now and I can assure you a motorcycle does make me happy.... Im not happy when I don't have one and out there alone with my thoughts helps to sort things out so riding helps with wisdom !
Great words of wisdom! 🤙🏽
Keep em coming if some don’t like it they can leave.
The engine block remained the same. GOOD EYE!
Sean is very near to Amish country. Trying to figure out what an Amish motorcycle would look like. Picture a Harley trike, but it has to be towed by a horse.
The Fury, VT 1300CX is the same motor that was in the VTX 1300.
The stateline is a nice bike.
I like the tank on the Stateline
This bike and the star stryker were some of the coolest bikes to come out in the 2000s-2010s, and of course the raider and warrior and mean streak and the vtx1800 were all awesome
I love you vids and I find it amazing that you walk with the Lord in all these videos also.
