It's all about personal preference. I met someone who told me they couldn't tell the difference between riding an R7 and a Street Triple RS so he couldn't justify spending the extra cash. I don't see how you can't feel 50% more power, but sometimes people just want what they want
I think the cb sounds alot nicer and the front end is slightly easier to control. But if your buying for acceleration, ride them back to back and you see that the r7 simply feels wayyyyyyy quicker just from how much lower in the rev range max torque and max hp is. I think the cb650r has more horsepower, but its way up in the redline
@@TheStoryOf-Podcast”it feels” .. its quicker for about 0.5 seconds when you open the throttle .. just down shift with the cb/cbr and you will get in torque in no time I owned them both… just personal opinion both fantastic bikes

Hey man! Just found your channel through one of your older Honda CB650R rides. Great quality content, both exhausts sounds lovely! I was wondering if you ever tried the Honda CB300R? I'm asking because I’m watching videos to find out about what should be the first bike I own. And even though I wouldn't mind starting on a 300cc bike, in this economy I feel like selling it would be nearly impossible in order to upgrade and there is only about 3k$ difference. I wonder what’s your opinion about getting a Honda CB650R as a first bike. And that in line 4 sound... I'm in love with it. It has amazing reviews, haven’t heard anything bad about it so far (maybe that it's not that snappy with the throttle but I'm not an agressive driver anyway) everyone who rides it loves it. Do you think it works well as a beginner bike for a responsible rider? I would use it for city and longer trips as well. Thank you in advance! Have a good one!
Hey bro, I really appreciate that. I’m glad you enjoy the vids! Yeah I would definitely recommend this as a beginner bike aswell, because it comes restricted and honestly was just as fast as my R3 when I had that. But what’s good is as you’re a beginner you can leave it restricted then when you get a bit bored or get your confidence up, you can get it unrestricted and it’ll be like you have a whole new bike. 😍 I still haven’t unrestricted mine yet… so both the bikes in this video are restricted so obviously still plenty of power and fun but also very manageable for a beginner :) hoped this helped.
