YES... From Detroit to Chicago and back, several times. I do about 75-80mph. Change the stock seat and you might want to get a windshield. I'm taking my Fury to Traverse City in the summer next year.
Went to Atlanta from Grand Rapids, MI. 800 miles one way back in September, 2023 on the stock seat of my 2020 Fury! Butt was a little sore by the end, however I had a blast!
Yes.. but the gas tank is something else... In city travel to other's is cool but long distance on highway and freeway long travel can get some anxiety.. you have to add lots of stop for gas cause that 3 gallons don't do much for longer so planning has to come in though
I did a long ride 4 nights ago on my 2015 Fury, I went 141.3 miles before the fuel light came on. At 155.5 miles I filled up, 2.675 gallons which comes to 58 MPG. In the past on a slower ride I got 63 MPG, which gives you a 170 range IF you are nice to the throttle. I do agree another gallon of gas would be awesome but I see people saying their fuel light comes on at 95 miles, I know riding style makes a difference but they are really being sluggish.
Esoteric Rider, man you don't have to convince me. i have been a sub for quite a while, awesome vlog on the trip. Yeah, i hope to have mine in a few months. I love my Rebel, but I WANT A FURY!!!! and congrats to Ms. Esoteric for riding all the way on the back seat. that's a keeper. until next time, be safe ride free!
This last summer me and the family went to the Mackinac motorcycle rally. I rode my Fury 600 miles. Including 8 hours home in constant rain. Had no issues with my bike
I have it's sister, a 2011 a VT1300 Interstate, which I imported to the UK from the good ol US of A! It now has 108,346 miles on the clock and still runs like a new one. I did the "Iron Butt Challenge" on it, covering 1026 miles in 16 hours. cruising at an indicated 80-90mph was no prob at all. The motors are damn near indestructible. Ride safe buddy.
I rode my 2012 from Chattanooga,TN to PCB. (400+ miles) one way. After arriving I wasn't fatigued or sore. Made the same trip on a 06 street glide the following year and was severely sore and felt beat down. I Love my fury
I just sold my 2010 fury, ...I would happily cruise Espana and Portugal for 3 to 4 weeks and around 4000 miles......Never a problem and she never missed a beat.......Superb ride.
Never ride that fat on the stock seat. I ran mine over 6 hours one way and it felt like my tailbone was being smacked by a hammer. The upgrade to the seat is worth every penny.
I commuted my 2017 fury 150 miles/day for about a year on I95 for a total of 25k miles. It rides nice and is reliable BUT the I’m Thirsty Light comes on at about 120 miles. Plan out gas stops and carry an extra liter of gas in a bag or you will be pushing it.
Honda motorcycles can go the distance. Did 750 mile on my Honda Rebel 500 I bought back in 2017. Only thing that killed me was my butt, and right wrist. lol! Had that 500 screaming at 80Mph. Held up like a champ.
With FURY, long distances are not a problem. However, that's the biggest problem because the capacity of the fuel tank is low, but if you set the section related to gas well when you travel, it's not a problem at all, and there's less vibration, so you don't feel tired.😆
So I currently only own Honda passenger Vehicles, Didn't even know Honda built this, I wouldn't be afraid to Drive that to California from Wisconsin my location, 🇺🇸 😁👍
I’ve done several 8 hour rides on a 1994 Honda Magna VF750C. All my friends tell me I should get a touring bike, but I love cruisers too much and refuse to look like a grandpa.
Nice , ive got both. If I could squeeze that 1800 into the fury I'd be happy . I'm about the same size , the stock seat is to hard. The power of the 1800 is addicting but I prefer my fury in every other way.
Hey, Esoteric Rider, when you got your Fury, how did you break in your tires? i have been hearing a lot of horror stories about new tires slipping out from under the rider and doing low side crashes. i just talked to my local Honda dealer about the Fury, been looking at breaking in new tires. You with the Fury would have the best way. Thanks!
Just got new tires in September 23 and it's not bad at all. I stayed off the highway a few days and did a lot of side to side in the lane and lots of slow turns.
Sorry dude, but the Jesus I follow spent his time with tax collectors and prostitutes. That cross represents the sacrifice made because I'm far from perfect. Reaching a lost world is much easier when they realize we are every bit as human as they are. Communal Christian living while trying to represent yourself as perfect, is no different than the talents buried in the ground. By not being able to relate to those Jesus needs to reach, we squander the gifts given to us while masquerading for other Christians. I'm glad he's repping the faith while relating to people who otherwise think Christians are piously uppity to be a part of their circle.
@@CaptainFishHead720 Jesus ate and spent time with Tax collectors and Prostitutes but that doesn’t mean He acted like them. But hey you do you brother. I’m no where near perfect and I slip saying something I shouldn’t have now and then. But if you can reach Sinners for Christ by putting out a video of you cursing and swearing more power to ya.
any honda can go the distance, much better than some compeitors. if anything can't, it's the rider.

I absolutely love the look of the Fury. So kick ass. I will own one soon enough!😊
Yes you will! And you will enjoy every second of it! 🤘🤘

Good to hear and thanks for sharing. Might pick this bike in the next couple of years.

I only wish it had a 5+ gallon tank, that’s the only thing I would change on that bike.

is vt1300 the same as honda fury? how is the bike? did your sister use custom acc like handlebar, riser, seat, etc for better comfort? thank you
@@fandityadwiputra Mine is completely stock.
I really like Interstate too. I have a 2017 Fury and would like one like yours too some day

Went 1000 miles this past Summer 3 days, plus one day at Tail of Dragon into Tenn, we were out of Charlotte NC
Honda 750SS. 3000 miles in 1984. Good times😅
From canada , ive had it ten years. Ive done mulitple 5000k summer holiday trips over 2 weeks. Yeah stock seat is only for short trips.
I had the VTX 1800. It's a big bike, loved it. I've
It's a good engine. The same as the VTX1300 but fuel injection. Honda put a lot of effort into the design, to look like a chopper but still ride well.
Bought my first bike picked:D is a 2024 fury rode it 14 hours back home to Oregon from California and had a blast with lots of stops

Hell Yea! 😆😃 I’ve been to Akron OH, Columbus OH, Louisville KY, Anniston AL, & Selma AL from Atlanta GA ON MY FURY 🔥🔥🔥

I’m utterly bias and I have found Hondas go the distance. Build quality and reliability is a cut above (some exceptions)

i ride 800 miles in one day in Thailand, you can do more just keep riding ;D! Big problem WINDY
Great video. Are those stock mirrors?😎
yes
You can ride long distance on anything. If you’re tough enough.
I got a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard now I want one of those
Standard weekend ride for me here in Australia.
I planned on a trip going to White Pine Michigan hopefully in September
I’ve done several 8 hour rides on a 1994 Honda Magna VF750C. All my friends tell me I should get a touring bike, but I love cruisers too much and refuse to look like a grandpa.
Do you think it would be a good fit for 6'2 250lbs? Currently ride an 03 vtx1800

I’m 6’2 and a buck 80. But this is a big sleek bike. Fits me nicely and I can assume it would handle the weight difference no problem. 🍻

Big Deal! I rode a 1968 Honda 160 in the 70's from Chicago to Kentucky. 375miles each way.
Congratulations! 🥇
Awesome brother i love mine
Should jockey shift kit it ?
I haven’t rode mine in 2 weeks 😢
Honda best on earth
I tried to get a Fury but Honda won't see them in Canada.
Move to the State's 🇺🇸 people walk right in 😁
There are many used for sale in Canada? The newest is a 2018, as a new one not sure off that. But looking at this Fury for my next bike.
I'm bout to get me one
how does it ride at 65 mph as far as vibration? in 5th gear
No vibration , and you'll get 50mpg at that speed. I spend all day at 75. I'm in canada and ive been all over western can and the northwestern states.
I did 600 miles on my Fury sore butt and all
836 last weekend
gonna need a chiropractor afterwards
Hell? Damn? C,Mon dude. Why are you wearing a Cross on your cut if you’re not gonna respect the one who died on it.
I represent my faith how I want. You represent how you want. That's the beauty of the whole thing. God bless!
